I am close to finishing the grind to 240 gear level, and I must say...in early game, dont go crazy with Ironhoof gear. Its gonna be quickly replaced and you will regret the money you have spent there.
only pick up like body armor and headpieces from it that are relatively high level that u won't be replacing soon u can get weapons,gloves and boots from large chests on the map but not these
Late game you can often find +20 or more levels in the shop if you push the story hard enough. That being said, I wish that I had skipped it once or twice towards the end. I had no clue how expensive the level 240 forging would be. Could have netted me a few extra million gold for the upcoming season.
nah just buy it, u gonna get a lot of gold after maximizing ur resonance to 240, i often buy equipment from there, and just two days ago i maxed my resonance and equipment to 240, now im sitting with 15m gold
the auto battle config is a life saver! sometimes my Hewynn heals TOO SOON when my party still has most of their HPs full. when do need her heal asap, i had to wait, and the leads to defeat most of the time! helpful tip, so thanks!
Not gonna lie as a hardcore dungeon crawler with OCD, I don't understand how you can just skip over all those battles as F2P. Having said that, it's good to know special battles will appear at max zoom.
I also used to 100% every dungeon in so many different types of dungeon crawlers (Pokémon mystery dungeon, torchlight, final fantasy) but after playing dungeon crawlers for over a decade so much, you eventually stop wanting to 100% everything. I feel like he's probably the same considering he's got multiple accounts. Also this game kind of encourages skipping stuff so you can just one shot the enemies later especially if you treat it like an afk game and only play as little as possible.

I only just unlocked the last area so i need to go grab the cjests but i then just try and do abyss instead. As for battles im just waiting til i over level and can sweep coz ive bought all the good stuff from the shop so doing all those battles doesnt get me anything i need for the time spent
@@VolkinAFKJourney Ahh that makes sense, I legit just 100% the final zone and my AFK stages and started doing Trail of Abyss after I commented and came to the realization that you can only buy X amount of summons at the shop and now I have like 2k ish currency left over. Also being overleveled was quite nice for my final push on AFK stages because I was able to Auto the last* 25+ stages. I just wish I had better pulls or an easier server to compete on.
Like he said, new season is coming with seasonal levels. Also worth noting that this button isn’t in arena or primal lord bosses. You can back out of arena matches and come back after adjusting levels with no consequences but I don’t know if you can do the same with primal lord.
Recently got Reiner and discovered the fun that is playing with his position swap. Even after getting screwed over on an enemy team using enlightening, it didn’t occur to me to use the same tactic to keep my own team’s position. Great tip!

i would love to have an option that auto activate ultimate but you manually choose the location just like the option per battle but you still need to manually click on the hero icon to activate their ultimate ability, it would be a true life saver if that option is in the game

another trick with reiner is you can use igor with reiner without using the enlightenment artifact and igor doesnt get teleported hes immune to it, this is also mainly for pvp but it allows you to use other artifact like confining artifact making your team even better
Just got Odie to Mythic plus and have discovered that his one-shot renders Brutus and Igor useless. It stops Brutus’ shield and kills Igor no matter how many gravestones are out.
At some point you can have an additional attempt (or maybe more dono) in the pvp arena for free without paying diamonds - thats massive syep for getting pvp points and achieving the weekly 20 wins for arena coins
That first tip about switching character levels, I'm only about half way through the game and have used that button since the beginning, but on this most recent update, it might be a glitch or something but it stopped giving me the check mark for my selected characters in every game mode and battle. So I have to check and see which character is already placed then hunt for them in my roster, biggest pain in the rear that didn't used to be an issue until song of strife update.
Not sure how this is useful but on the mini map, the sun/moon in a circle. If you click it, you can change the time of day in the over world. Thank you about the tip to swap levels, that was killing me when I was doing the towers.
One of the most piss taking thing in afk journey is igor supreme+. I was using him in honorary deul as a way to counter vala's targeting mechanism, but because igor's supreme+ creates an extra tombstoen at the start of the match, he jusmps straight away and vala retargets. I didn't realise this until I lost 2 honorary deul cuz of this.
This one big whale in my guild didn’t know he missed like all of the corruption battles until I told him. He literally hadn’t cleared 1-1 😂. His power level basically doubled that day. I would stalk team chat to do them as early as possible fiending for the upgrades so I was shocked
There are some game modes where you can't change hands of resonance characters from the battle screen. I really wish they would make things consistent.
One more thing, that is mostly just for titles. You can tap on your hero daily 3 times and gain 6 affinity. oh someone beat me to it in the comments below lol
@@danisob3633 no offense but that just means ure in a troll server whereas madridmonarch is on an early server with actual competition there. If ure top12 without any of those units in arena u can probs make it with whatever garbage strategy in ur server
@@danisob3633 The problem is that u will lose a bunch on defence as f2p because u dont have resources to build arena defence team. Sure u can get lucky climb at the start but once mid game comes, whales will dominate all top 20 spots.

Muting World chat became an immediate priority within an hour of starting after seeing like 10 hard R n-words. It’s a cesspool and I’d honestly be happy if they just deleted those chat channels altogether
Dont downplay how good proxy battles are too tho. Ive helped my guildmates multiple times just by using their characters when they couldn't figure out a team that worked. Then they could save their synergy for one that the just couldn't beat with what they have.
Also avoid Ironhoof Forge. It's a scam. It eats up your gold and you will find your self in the situation of having 1k forging stone5 and no gold to craft 240 lvl gear (max lvl gear for now). My 2 cents on this topic.
Temesia also works very well with the attack speed shard. She actually gets A-LOT of dmg to her kit while preventing cc till she gets her own unaffected state.
Also if you're stuck on an enemy battle and just can't win, tap the scroll on the battle button and go to records you'll find the formation and characters that might help you get through it.
@@Elidan1012 Even if they get deleted new ones will pop up. The bug that allows people to hyper carry with 1 unit still hasn't been fixed. They need to fix that first, and then reset all the records.

You can open and spam tap/click each hero in the resonating hall and get +6 affinity for each hero each day
That arena tip is the reason behind my confusion. I was confused as to why my opponents didn't get teleported sometimes

I wouldn't consider Reiner's swap a Tip, it's a caracter spell // game mechanic people don't even bother to read.. the real AFK players ;)

that auto cog mode allowed me to complete all afk stages @ reso 190 super helpful(mostly the koko cecia ult timing)

You can also use Viperian with Reiner, since he is unaffected during the start of the battle
Also u can do viperian and not need the artifact in niche situations

Florabelle's auto targeting is kind of silly, so the manual ult only for her will be very helpful as well.

if u uses igor and reiner, igor doesnt get teleport but still get the enemie teleported so you can use another rune

Enlightening artifact gives control resistence not just from enemy but your own Reinier... I just learned this now 😐😑

untrue. i got to top 12 withouut using those ever. im almost f2p. get 1 copy of reiner and use all your resets to find a good opponent

u just need a desolate server where not many whale playing in the server, and then u can hit champion easily

Nah Cecia is still one of the stronger units even on higher stages of trial of abyss. I couldn’t have gotten far f2p without cecia and odie.
