One thing on the chests I do is push hard to open the big chests (the guarded ones) as they contain gear, which in turn helps beef up my heroes. I've even went so far as (if possible) opening up the next section of the map just to do a quick run through it (skipping literally everything else) to open the big chests.

Now if you really want to be sweaty you can go in and tap your hero’s. And get extra affinity for “petting them” I got 6 per hero.

Thanks for the great tips! :) I would actually advise on forging equipment for hero classes you don't use as well. Saving your resources is fine for the early to mid game, but doesn't make any sense later on. First of all, there are both direct rewards and indirect rewards locked behind the average equipment level. And later on, hero essence is the limiting factor anyway. Secondly, making the other classes stronger helps you with pushing in other game modes like the Tower or swapping characters and trying different combinations in Dream Realm, for example. Some Warriors (like Brutus) and some Rogues are really good in these game modes as well.
Been enjoying this game so far, its actually very f2p friendly IMO

I'm so tilted they removed records like I know what people are using but the positions and artifact are usually what makes the difference now because of the hotfix YOU CANNOT see the fights....
They didn't remove it, it's an issue with their new records system so hopefully it gets fixed

It appears to be at least partially fixed. Some of the records still work so you just have to click through until you find one. Also, there was a glitch where you had to back all the way out to restart a replay. That appears to be fixed, at least on iOS.
I can’t replay the like low power records it only allows me to view the recommended but their battle power is usually much higher than mine as use mythic heroes. The alignment is too important along with the artifacts they use.

FYI in regards to your map tip. if there isn't a green checkmark on 'door' icons(Entrances that lead into underground areas), it means you still have enemies or chests in there as well.
Also the faction boost helps alot and also understand the faction weakness when it comes to enemies this helps me to advance in afk stages and world
Forging for only 5 levels feels bad, but can make the difference
I only do it if I'm at like top 12% of Dream Realm and think it might push me into top 10% to start scoring the permanent Soulgem bonuses - which it has a few times
i misread as you trying to push for top 10. Yeah i pretty much only upgrade my gear every 10 levels until i can see that im swiming in crafting mats also only for the classes im using.
Weekly Victory Reward in Honor Duel does reset weekly.

Just found this video; the replay tip has helped no end. Finding teams with lower power that I can replicate is super clutch.
The thing that pisses me off the most is that it tells me I’m behind and gives me a boost. I’m literally so mad. How am I stuck if I am behind? I want to quit the game since I guess I am just so stupid and helpless. Like really?
If you don't have smokey, you will always have the "you're a little behind" arrow.
Once your in the 700s depending in what team you want to battle you may require to use 2 teams. My first team is great the second is average. Will see how far I can take it.

This vid came at a good time as hit a wall at lvl 645, and lvl 171 enemies. Need more DUST!!
I find that Arcane Labyrinth is a good way of getting Hero Essence also. I just cleared Lvl. 3 and it gave me 600 Hero Essence along with 3 Epic Invite letters
That’s only for the first three floors. Floors 4 and up don’t give any Hero Essence.
When I am stuck, I come to youtube to look for new volkin's videos.
Worst thing right now is that for new season you need to be 240 resonance to play it. and they give huge amount training manual and zero essence. Hate that.
One note you missed: you can use 2 AFK synergy battles a day; one for AFK stages and 1 for map battles.
What would be the afk stage in 7 days of playing if you try everything more optimally?

I am stuck because my core units are not a high enough acension. Nobody is above legendary while my lvl cap is at 110

You probably already know but in defend the crystal battles you can win by surviving for the whole time, you don't have to kill every enemy.
The reason I'm stuck is not having Mythic+ Cecia after finally getting my Smokey. Apparently the game thinks I need Shakir instead. Just 1 more copy for Supreme+ 🙃
Why didn't you mention that after last update, you can't watch previous replays? Only seeing team comp is not that much helpful...

I get jealous watching these videos, my game looks so trash on my tablet and I cant play on my Mac , and my phone screen is too small to try to even play , but afk arena looks amazing idk why its so bad, it still runs slow while looking like trash too, my fights are just watching people move around and some melee abilities and like 1 ranged ability every 15 sec

it's in the setting for auto battle but you can change it, I forget exactly what it's called

@@jonverrico3761I think at affinity 100 & 700 you get 50 gems, at 1200 you get a free pull. Worth to go through your roster and hit that hundred for a few free gems
@@jonverrico3761 Yes, you get gems and letters for pulls. Get everyone at least to 1300.
when I stuck I just quit the game and come back a day later level up things, usually works lol
Are you maybe gonna make a video with your thoughts on a new season being available only for people who reach lvl 240 and clear all main quests? Because it looks kinda grim for us F2P players... at least imo
I think by the time May comes, if you're super sweaty you might of managed to finish most of it or just barely. I'm a minnow btw like spent 20-30 usd so i can't really say it's that much but yeah i'm like 12 days in and i'm almost halfway for afk stages currently at 521, so going by that progress i might be able to finish the AFK stages by early or mid may at worst end of May.
The only thing really limiting me is the hero essence to power up my heroes.
By the time the update comes. U should have 240, even as f2p

@@wihukeon Yea, maybe that is true if I go super sweaty for it. My main concern is that this new season is not gonna be accessible for new players and chill guys. In other "seasonal" games that I play you can just jump in the game any time during the season, and try new seasonal content.
Even if this new season is gonna be a banger you just cant tell others to come and try it if they didnt already played this game.
@@KTB_Phantom Well if you're just talking about new players they probably won't need to worry about the new season cause wasn't there a note in that the server has needed to be opened for 42 days to be able to access song of strife? So if a new player starts a new account i'd likely be in a new server which means they probably won't have an issue. The other chill person well if they're chill they're probably not in a rush and still have a ton to do.

Honor duel - when the event started I had 3 attempts (an attempt being win 9 or lose 3), the next day I had 2 attempts, and yesterday I had just 1. I don't understand why I didn't have 3 attempts each day. Can anyone please tell me why I didn't have 3 attempts per day?

If you go to your AFK Battles there can be a little green arrow in the upper left side of the window below the progress bar. "You're a bit behind in your current AFK progress, so we've initiated a catch-up mechanism for you. Your AFK rewards will receive a boost to help you catch up!"
Neat feature. However im always pushing to my highest stage so never got this.
Ok, so i am at afk 519 and theres a power deficit of 100k so i dont think i am beating that anytime soon

Replay function is broken sadly. Hopefully they fix it but i doubt it

Don’t forget to go into the guide to get diamonds. It’s not a lot but some is better than none
The weapons from the Dream Realm can be equipped independet of your level, at least this is the case for me (In both of my accounts )
Also, the shop from Holistone needs to have hero essence too, or the hero essence around the world needs to increment with your level, because you get 2 or 4 (literally) in zones that are way harder for your level

Honestly the records are bonkers. At stage 619 the enemy has 350k power but some record clear it with 180k power😮😮😮
i think the power ratings there arend displayed properly.. like they dont include gear or artifact power coz sometimes all heroes are 10 levels higher than mine but they are only 60-70% of my power
