Bill you and I are close to the same age. I graduated in 1988. Just a couple years before you but I relate to you and things you do. I’m so sorry that you have gone through this tough year. I’m crying right now as I’m trying to make this comment. I lost my brother in 2018 at 52 years old. He was born in November of 65 and I was born in November of 70. He was was five years older than me and I have had a hard time getting through it. I’m so sorry for your loss. I love your channel and it’s so easy for me to relate to you because I bracket raced in the 90’s and I watch you give it over to your kids. Keep moving forward brother and remember God loves you!

Only gonna get warmer so might as well get a headstart on it. Weeded Moms Flower Beds and trimmed back some low hanging limbs on the apple trees so we can mow under them. Condolences to the entire family. That was a great episode with an upbeat positive ending. Don’t ignore those unsealed threads in the valve train on that big block. I’ve made that mistake before. It was costly. The negative pressure that intake tract under when that engine is decelerating with the throttle closed will do things we can not imagine.

Every combo is different and some take tiny swings, and parts thrown at it, some take major swings to find improvements. All you can do with an engine and a dyno, is find repetitive plusses and minuses, and Bob does it correctly, uses the same carb to get a beeline, and then go up and down attempting to find the right induction improves as do you. You found 2 that work, the smaller one and the Dominator both make power. Then we all know Jimmy is going to pour the giggle gas to it and stress every bit of Bob's inner work and parts, and waaaaka, waaaaaka that heartbeater to death increasing the explosions in each and every cylinder breath he can. Good job you 2!

From my experience dealing with big rig diesels. Just bypassing the pass side turbo wouldn't clear the smoke. As the exhaust will have oil all in it. And cause it to smoke something awful for a good bit to burn it out.

Bill I'm so sorry to hear about your brother you have had a bad year may your brother rest in peace and prayers going out to his family and friends as well as your family. Im definitely impressed in that spacer by 30 plus hp over the other spacer i never would have thought that could have happened. From my experience dealing with big rig diesels. Just bypassing the pass side turbo wouldn't clear the smoke. As the exhaust will have oil all in it. And cause it to smoke something awful for a good bit to burn it out.

Great video as usual! Sorry to hear about your brother. God speed! I think I'm a believer in them ATMs after this !!! Boy I wish I had you on speed dial Saturday with the carb issues I had on this Holley in a 69 Ford Fairlane, I got thru it though and just went back to basics and reset everything from there! Car runs perfect now and owner is happy!
