I say that to say this: I'd be proud if Kamala Harris included Liz Cheney in her cabinet. Liz has courage and character. I also believe she has the rare Washington trait: ability to grow. Liz Cheney also compensates for Kamala's weaknesses in the foreign policy and defense domains. If I was president, Liz would be in my administration. Ever since John and Robert Kennedy were shot in the 1960s, I've never seen a candidate worth my vote, so all my life I've never even considered registering let alone voting, until now. It is crucial that everything be done to defeat the obvious evil, but without a way forward for the conservative part of the country, it's a one-pony show, and although T is too old to run again, there are more in the pipeline. So, to me (who is not among her target group), her job would be to start a new conservative movement in oppostition to MAGA, and as the missing puzzle piece for the democratic side. She's a prominent and visible figure who also enjoys a lot of trust and following, so she should be the spearhead or at least part of a new conservative movement in the country, and give a home to all those who stomp, work, and/or vote for the red party because they have always done so, are conservative, and loyal. (Of course, I also always advocate that the US voting system needs to leave the 18th century, so more parties can come to the table and work together.) I'm 66 yrs old, a single white rural male. Ever since John and Robert Kennedy were shot in the 1960s, I've never seen a candidate worth my vote, so all my life I've never even considered registering let alone voting, until now. All my life, I never cared two hoots about presidents and voting until I watched Harris at her first rally in PA and I caught the enthusiastic social feel good vibe. It's obviously a very contagious and popular state of being. I normally go the opposite direction from the crowd but I can feel the collective enthusiastic pulse growing inside me and it's like; Harris fulfilling her destiny as the first female president is pulling me to fulfill my destiny as a first time voter. Its our national destiny with a capital D, pulling on all of us, there's no avoiding it. It is crucial that everything be done to defeat the obvious evil, but without a way forward for the conservative part of the country, it's a one-pony show, and although T is too old to run again, there are more in the pipeline. So, to me (who is not among her target group), her job would be to start a new conservative movement in oppostition to MAGA, and as the missing puzzle piece for the democratic side. I am the same way as Liz Cheney, it's good to hear a like-minded woman. I also voted for Reagan in 1981, my first election, have voted Republican ever since. Me and my family are 100% for Kamala Harris in November. Love the Cheneys! ❤
