Trying out this new style of video which requires minimal talking, minimal effort but hopefully a maximum of peace and enjoyment.

I was an only child, …imaginative, creative and ever curious. When I was about 7 years old I remember saying "I wish I knew someone I didn’t 'have to' talk to." I meant, someone comfortable with just being, sharing time together, without always feeling the need to keep talking. I never felt alone, when alone. My mother said neighborhood kids followed me around like the pied piper…though, I was, and remain, my own best friend. Cheers!❤
Total bliss! I can do ‘social interaction’ very well, but choose not to or seek it. Most people who know me, however, want social interaction with me.
Today, I surfaced at 8.30am, snow here in the UK. I watched from the window, everyone rushing to work, to pay for the things that keep them there……I had a leisurely breakfast of porridge oats, banana & honey, followed by two rounds of sourdough toast - all organic. Contemplating the day ahead. Cleaned out the open fire & stocked up the barrel of logs, did a bit of housework, vacuuming the bedroom & bathroom carpets, making the bed. Watched a bit of TH-cam to see how the farmers protest is going, the took myself off to my workshop to creat a copper daffodil & rose. My weekly organic veg arrives…so put that away & prepare my evening meal, of ‘cottage pie’. Currently cosying up by the fire, having online ‘social interaction’ by way of a post on TH-cam, whilst contemplating having a nice hot bath with some Epsom salts.
Planning on going it on my bike, tomorrow, as the snow has gone, witty bright day forecast. Homemade leek, parsnip & potato soup for lunch tomorrow, then an hour yoga session in the evening - I can manage an hour of human interaction, I reckon………..
“Silence is the language of God, all else, is poor interpretation” (unknown) But yes, a world full off talking & you can’t hear a damn thing.
@@speciallion1135 homemade soups this time of year are a delight. This one I had was a roasted veggie with a butternut quash, red peppers, carrots, tomatoes, red onion and garlic and after blended with stock added coconut milk for the real 👌
@@frayamortensen sounds delicious…..nom nom! Full of goodness & so satisfying, to make from scratch, whilst often using up good food, which may otherwise be wasted. I make batches & freeze, for convenience.

Amazing. I watched it in Black & White. Reminded me of those Charlie Chaplin days of the Silent Films in the early 1900's . I've been playing with the idea of making a channel of me zipped mouth but speaking in the background. That unspoken non mouth verbal communication seems to have a deeper impact in us. You have great potential and amazing creativity Miss Fraya 💛
@@gerritpas7877 thank you! I was gonna do a voice over on this but thought there was already so much being said… without having to say anything. How did you watch it in black and white?
@@frayamortensen you're welcome. It indeed was well done. Good choice not to include the voice over. It's refreshing to let the soul communicate through that deep perception alone. For black and white i use a program i made to take in any video and transform it to ways i like it to be, or convert it to audio or whatever i want. I'm a Web Developer so i know how to code and stuff. I like to simplify or improve things.

Did a road trip back to that sawmill and bought it. crane and tractor trailer booked for Monday.
Put fire on when I got back and heated up the borsch (all home grown) I made the other day on the cookstove.
I hope you do another one of these.

It's so great to see this. Reminds me that my life is mine. who I am is what I do every day and when people see me they see the end result of my added up efforts. But the real beauty is in how beautiful I can make my every day minutes. Thanks for sharing.

I love Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky, Mozart and Beethoven are pretty cool too… toss in some Brahms and Bach. Newer composers I love are Philip Glass and Einaudi
@ we did “ rite of spring “ earlier this season. That’s one of my favorites. Just the music this time; our ballet company has done it several times and it’s fascinating.
Not a huge fan of the atonal stuff but I can appreciate it when it’s been done properly and passionately.
I can also appreciate stuff like Cage, and I think “4:33” is brilliant for its audacity.
I’m pretty damn lucky I get paid to hear this stuff. We’ve had some decent conductors come through here, and my little town has a good reputation for this scene.

It's pretty much my life (skip the car trip and replace the video editing with coding all day).
we share a similar reality! live in a world by my self most days even though I live with family and perform body work on clients. strange but interesting!!! what's your birthday if you are in to sharing?

Thanks Fraya, I can really relate to this. Sometimes, I'm happy to never even leave the apartment, there is so much that occupies my mind, which leads me to wonder... and perhaps it could be a topic for you... I have an inner dialogue with myself. This seems to make me FEEL self-engaging, self-validating, self-directed, self-criticizing and focused. I'm also never bored because I engage within myself. I also have a strong ("active"?) imagination and can relive moments. It's come to light that some people don't experience an "inner monologue," so perhaps you can shed some light on this?
And the Mozart concerto was a great choice.
@@mrcuttime22 I’ve heard that some do not have an inner monologue which is quite unfathomable for me to understand. Wondering if it’s something that plagues the neurotypicals?
