10:24 Tool is an existential, ethereal sledgehammer. A perfect balance of conflicting approaches to balance true harmony and progress musically. They’re a living, breathing chaotic group of individuals finding a level on which they all can operate freely as one.
AWESOME!!! The Salival version of Pushit, like all of their other songs, is my favorite. With the fan incident thrown in for the cherry 🍒 on top. Great reaction, one of my favorites 😂
Don't let anyone ever convince you that Danny isn't part of the percussion...it's all him..I've seen them live over 10 times...all 4 memebers are top tier masters of their class!! That's why no one else sounds like them..talent is unmatched even after 30 years
I was a freshman in high school when I discovered tool in 1993. I've been graced with the luxury of actually witnessing them live a total of 11 times now as they are my favorite band, and still are at the age of 49. Pound for pound I think this is the best song that they've ever done... With that being said.... this version of it.
Tool is the only band I know that can take a masterpiece and turn it into another masterpiece. Not to mention they made a better version of Zepps No Quarter. I really believe Tool is a once in a lifetime band
The original of this is much harder
Better ❤
you have to listen to Opiate 2. that is an almost 10 min trip you dont want to come out of.
I would watch a 1 hour tool reaction

That bit of clapping at the end is probably there because Maynard is funny guy.
It's a battle between the egoic self and true self.
your drip is fantastic, just a great vibe overall. and always love a genuine reaction

In this version it wasn’t just Danny on percussion - he was joined by Aloke Dutta playing the acoustic tabla.
One of my favorite live performances!
Masterpiece! ✌️
It`s about the internal battle they used to have whitin the bandroom.
They were splitting up. They didnt.

Never missed a beat in his vocals either ha!
Even if it was staged it was fukn genius
You should do a reaction to the original version also.

Well he's a BJJ black belt so...LOL
That's them laughing at themselves
Maynard studies mixed martial arts. He wrestled in high school. ✌️
🤯👍👍👍
One quick last side note.... My 12-year-old son has seen them three times now
Hes a jiu jitsu master
And an answer to your comment... I've never seen a band that had four absolute geniuses in the band all at one time
Just a comical side note... I've owned this album three times in my life.... I still don't have it to this day and now it's discontinued
