Got it reset, just followed along with your video and first try worked perfectly. No more wrench, no more - mikes, no more service b code. Thank you kind sir… it’s so empowering to do the small things on my own.
It sure would be nice if the auto industry would standardize these oil change resets. It's annoying to have to look it up for every manufacturer. Thanks for relieving my headache!
Great video much appreciate , most videos on TH-cam doesn't say when the the percentage stop flashing you have to release your finger so the correct way is 1 - Press and hold until screen flashing 2 - press and hold until get the percentage stop flashing 3 - hold again ( third time ) until see 100% 👌👌👌👌 thank you again
On my 2010 I can get it to flash as described, but after that, I cannot get what he is doing. I don't get anything saying cancel. I am not able to follow along after the first step. I tried it later on, but was fully started and I long pressed until flashing, then long pressed again until 100% was displaying, which after I just single pressed to change to a trip counter.
When I turn my key to the run position it has a service past due and a B1 with a wrench. it will not let me clear that by pushing the mileage button what do I do?
The B1 service is for oil change and also tire rotation. To clear the tire rotation part of it you need to go into the vehicle information center screen and navigate to the vehicle settings screen then select that and choose maintenance. Once you select maintenance it will allow you to reset reminders. We don’t have a video on this yet but someday we will. I hope that helps you get a little closer to where you need to be. Thank you for watching.
The “Run” position is where the key rests while the engine is running. When cranking it is in the start position and once it starts and you let the key go it falls back in to the “Run” position.
A lot of these will reset on their own if they have the correct sensors in the vehicle and they are working properly as long as the air pressure is set. A lot of them you just correct air pressure than drive them about 10 miles and they will reset. If they don’t you will need a tire reset tool to do it
He’s the only one who explains it to the fullest he has the best video 👍🏾
Thank you!
Your the only one who tells us to let go after it stops blinking for a second then to hold again. Thank you

We agree! Just one button under the hood to push after the change on every vehicle.
Great video but FYI the car can be running. 💯🙋♂️❤️

Yep, it worked. The other videos dont have those extra steps that the 2011 needs apparently.
Thank you!

Honda you need to get your s*** together. They should all be the same. Also thank you for this video.
We think every car and truck should be exactly the same with one button to reset it.
So helpful!! Thank you 😊

2011 here. I just hold the trip button until I get "RESET OIL LIFE?". Hit arrow on wheel to select "RESET". Hit OK on wheel. Done.
No "ok" button. It is "wel reset."
thank you!!
I have a Honda odyssey 2012 and it has a cancel button and not this you showed
Very helpful thank you👍🏾

Very helpful thank you
Thank you SIR!!!
Thank you so much!!
They really dont want anyone to reset that hahaha
Thank u. It worked!
How many miles does it take for the car to indicate it needs an oil change?
T
It varies depending on load and temps etc. usually between 4K miles and 7k which is too much in our opinion.
@@UnderTheHoodShow Wow, interesting. I'm surprised and a bit shocked it's more than just a trip odometer actuating the light.
Thank ou so freaking much!!!
What the hell is the run position?
The “Run” position is where the key rests while the engine is running. When cranking it is in the start position and once it starts and you let the key go it falls back in to the “Run” position.

Anyone knows how to reset tpms?
A lot of these will reset on their own if they have the correct sensors in the vehicle and they are working properly as long as the air pressure is set. A lot of them you just correct air pressure than drive them about 10 miles and they will reset. If they don’t you will need a tire reset tool to do it
