I was there. Better than last year but still too sharp and bright, only emphasizing the speed and lack of musicality. The choice of music could have been terrible as well. I think, on one hand, the new amps have not been fully run-in, and also, the 350 could not drive the EVO properly yet.
I agree. The choice of music could have been better and the sound was generally sharp and bright. I've heard these speakers powered by other amps and they've sounded wonderful. To me, Focal and Naim are not a perfect match.
@@immersivesoundtech Yes, for sure. For Naim and Focal combination, people need to pay a lot of attention to the cables. Then maybe it can sound nice but very energy-consuming since it can easily sound thin and bright. This is my own experience.
