Thanks very much for watching my video, please remember everything you see is a complete one man production. Also make sure you have watched my PART ONE Munich show video as there is a lot more to see and learn about and enjoy th-cam.com/video/TmW-b1Vl5xs/w-d-xo.html
Smashing video as always, Terry. Thanks for taking the time to sort through what must have been literally hours of footage to give us, non-attendees, a good overview of the whole event. Very much looking forward to your upcoming review videos featuring some of the more affordable, value-for-money, audio components. Definitely the best way to go for video reviews of a wide range of components from each different category. Very best wishes to you & your family, from G. in Japan...!! (ex-Scotland, but Nippon for 25 years +)
Hey Terry you always make such great videos. I am in Nigeria and watch every video you do. I love Hifi and hope one day to attend the Munich Hifi show. I hope a visit would finally convince me to open a small hifi business.
Hi Terry. All your points in this video about the show are valid, especially about lighting. I also love the fact that the shows organizers asked manufacturers to focus on more starter/ affordable systems. You have put so much hard work into your last two videos on the show and I really enjoyed watching them. Thanks so much as I can never get to shows like this and you have allowed me to see parts of it. 😊
Terry, thanks for your expert effort in conveying and sharing so that we can indulge in our shared passion for audio. 5 Watts to entertain thousands indeed!
Would love to attend this show someday. I'd be more than happy with a pair of Linkwitz's and a nice digital streamer front end, but I do like to look at the audio jewellery none the less.
I love how your head is beautifully lit in the Kharma room! Another great video Terry. You know I've said it before but I'll say it again it's a joy listening to you. Considering you like the Diablo 300 maybe you could review the 333...
Both the Dutch Kharma masterpiece speakers and the Latvian room-agnostic speakers are very interesting. I have Dutch Translator Impact5 4-way tower speakers of the 1980s (Translator was kind of a Dutch B&W but sadly went out of business). Being from the Netherlands I didn't know anything about Kharma. Shame on me. Until now 😉 The last horn system was also nice to see. A whole show where audiophiles can bring their own real-life systems in and demonstrate them would be fun and could be a useful guide for others for buying decisions. Excellent video!
Amazing coverage and production value, all from a one-man crew. Thank you! Just one thing you forgot to mention (in your equipment list): your wireless microphone setup (I guess it is from Sennheiser). Once again: really well done!
Hey Terry, are you doing your on camera intro/narration from your personal listening room? Quite the change from the all black laboratory back in the early days of experimentation and exploration! Cheers!
Yeah, really puzzling that some exhibitors would present dark/dimly lit rooms, knowing media reviewers and others will want some video/photos. Especially when there is so much good lighting equipment at relatively reasonable prices these days.
Terry, youve outdone yourself again. Your commitment to brining us this supurb coverage is amazing and very much appreciated. Its fun to dream about this esoteric stuff, though most of us will never get to own or hear it. I wander if martin logan were showing their new motion flow xt speakers.. Its about as high as I can dream off!
I think about the prices of everything at this show, making it all look its best at all times, even after the show has finished with photos and video is a sensible step forward
Lovely quality, really professional feel and production. I agree about all the wannabees with all their mobile phone uploads, why bother, looks a load of junk. Well done for your hard work.
If Kharma and Vienna acoustics are representative on how sales persons are selling high end audio then it is the end of high end audio. Kharma audio did nothing else but talk about expensive matirials and Vienna acoustics are apparently selling a 50$ bluetooth speaker. Sorry Terry, This has nothing to do with your great work. I really enjoy your videos.
Your take contrasts nicely with Mr. Darko's. Thanks for your overview. I guess if I could be beamed there on a Fri. Morning and have a walk around and then beam me back to New Jersey at no expense.. it would be a fun walk around…Like going for a day tour at NASA or something. I am not well-heeled, and I really enjoy my "modest" $24K sound system…priorities…OK… I have to run out the door for my morning bike ride along the beach front….😊
some of the speakers look just ridiculous, been on of these shows it was an ok experience but I was glad to come home to listen my trusty Audium Comp 3 no shame at all.
This hi end equipment is great but any system only sounds good if the recording are good so a 20,000 dollar Turntable will sound crap if the lp record is a bad recording
I think that is a real thing yes, however I think the better the turntable setup will still extract more of the good information from the record but its early days for me with vinyl at the moment
You mean me mentioning John and his video - in that video he gave me a shout out for my work so in a way I am just returning the kind gesture, but also he raised two very important points for things we just take for granted so I thought it was a good idea to look at them from a different perspective.
There is music for 3 of 33 minutes with very carefully crafted video that all syncs up to the music, even the people moving in the shots is all syncd to the music. That is serious video editing skill. It makes the video not kills it - where else do you see anything like that in HiFi TH-cam? Nowhere because it took about 6 hours to put together and colour grade every single shot.
first talk in the beginning...u talk to long for something that is not important thing...get to the point , don't blabbering wasting time.... headache...i'm leaving....
As a video creator you of course want every video to resonate with everyone, but know that will never be the case and are therefore open to listening to fair criticism. Fair in this case would have been you looking and seeing I had already made a 40 minute fully featured video for the 2023 Munich show that is undoubtedly the best video you will see for the show with over 200,000 views. I made the best video for the 2022 show as well with over 300,000 views. This and my channel having over 23 million views would have told you that I know how to make videos and if this one has a lot of talking at the beginning its quite on purpose. There has also been over 50,000 views of this video and only one complaint like yours. So while you cant videos that will suit everyone I think the balance of mine seems to suit a large % even if not yourself
Thanks very much for watching my video, please remember everything you see is a complete one man production.
Also make sure you have watched my PART ONE Munich show video as there is a lot more to see and learn about and enjoy th-cam.com/video/TmW-b1Vl5xs/w-d-xo.html
No worries
thanks for your sharing

Thanx for backing the video beginning with a DnB track
Terry the all new Soulnote A3 Integrated amp was at Munich 2023 and it's a very special amp.. Major-Breakthrough for Integrated amps😇
Terry, thanks for your expert effort in conveying and sharing so that we can indulge in our shared passion for audio. 5 Watts to entertain thousands indeed!
really enjoy your vids Terry.great information as usual..
Thanks Terry.
Thank you Terry. Really well presented video. It’s clear to see that you have put a lot of effort into the video compilation. Really enjoyable..😎👍
Great dnb tune at 3 mins 48 , great video, thanks Terry ❤
Would love to attend this show someday. I'd be more than happy with a pair of Linkwitz's and a nice digital streamer front end, but I do like to look at the audio jewellery none the less.
Thanks Terry, really great overview and sharing of thoughts and reflections. Really appreciate the time you’ve put into this.
Thanks very much for the kind words and for noticing and appreciating 😀
I love how your head is beautifully lit in the Kharma room!
Another great video Terry. You know I've said it before but I'll say it again it's a joy listening to you.

Thanks very much, for noticing the difficulties of interviewing people :) I have my name down for a look at the 333 for sure
Thank you for the review of the show. I wish I could have been there!
Thanks Terry,, 👍😎👍

I plan on going to Highend Munich 2024.
Thanks Terry for the wrap up and amazing video and coverage of the show. Appreciated what you do.

great job . U are a real profession .thank you
Thank you very much
Really nice video. I especially enjoyed your personal comments, that makes it feel more relevant and alive for me.
Will be watching PART ONE Munich show next…
Amazing coverage and production value, all from a one-man crew. Thank you! Just one thing you forgot to mention (in your equipment list): your wireless microphone setup (I guess it is from Sennheiser). Once again: really well done!
Hi Peter, yes I used a Sennheiser Evolution wireless boom and receiver set with a stage / live microphone for hopefully nice audio quality
Cheers🙏🙏 always fantastic insight given and care taken..
Thank you !
Thanks, Terry!
Thanks Matthew
With a beer. That helps :-)
😀
🙋♂️TERRY…THANKS 🤗 FOR THE HIGH ROLLING B ROLL 😎🥶💚💚💚
Some serious subs behind you. Dang
A couple of No.31 so yes sir 😬
Hey Terry, are you doing your on camera intro/narration from your personal listening room? Quite the change from the all black laboratory back in the early days of experimentation and exploration! Cheers!
Yes I made the change I think at the beginning of this or last year I can’t recall
Sweet, it works really well on camera (and seems a pleasant place to be...)@@PursuitPerfectSystem
Nobody, but nobody does it better than you Terry. Next best thing to being there. Maybe one year I can go.
Thank you very much appreciate it
Nicely done and thanks for your candor Terry.

Cheers Jim

YES 👏👏👏👍 WE ENJOYED EVERYTHING TERRY 💯
Yeah, really puzzling that some exhibitors would present dark/dimly lit rooms, knowing media reviewers and others will want some video/photos. Especially when there is so much good lighting equipment at relatively reasonable prices these days.

Sorry I didnt see any Martin Logan there, but they could easily have been I just didnt see them. Thanks for the kind words and comment
Good point to make about the Lighting and all the photos which sells the products.
Thank you very much for noticing and appreciating the extra mile I go
TERRY…MEETING AND TALKING TO THE PEOPLE…NOT CHEESY AT ALL 😁…WE WHO COULD NOT BE THERE APPRECIATE IT 🤗👍💚💚💚
I find all the extra boxes+ clutter around the speakers are distracting, and most of them aren't necessary :)
Great stuff, Terry, many thanks. Did you listen to that huge Chinese system with the massive horn speakers? How did it actually sound?
Yes and not really, I was working on arranging for them to come on camera more than I spent time listening
Nobody interested in buying that thing cares about the sound, anyway.
Consistent quality work, Mr Ellis. You've confounded my scepticism expressed early and often. You really should consider a career as a YT vlogger...
Cheers Tim, always looking to improve :)
Your take contrasts nicely with Mr. Darko's. Thanks for your overview. I guess if I could be beamed there on a Fri. Morning and have a walk around and then beam me back to New Jersey at no expense.. it would be a fun walk around…Like going for a day tour at NASA or something.
I am not well-heeled, and I really enjoy my "modest" $24K sound system…priorities…OK…
I have to run out the door for my morning bike ride along the beach front….😊
That was the idea Bob, while your riding along the beach front you can make your mind up what turntable your going to buy.......
Brilliant 🎉
Thanks very much appreciate it
Nice catch of MF @3:26.
And yeah… thank you to the world’s soft door closerererers👍
some of the speakers look just ridiculous, been on of these shows it was an ok experience but I was glad to come home to listen my trusty Audium Comp 3 no shame at all.
How's about Munich high end show 2024 sponsored by GIK acoustics 🙂, they should be able to take care of all the noise at the show.
This hi end equipment is great but any system only sounds good if the recording are good so a 20,000 dollar
Turntable will sound crap if the lp record is a bad recording
I think that is a real thing yes, however I think the better the turntable setup will still extract more of the good information from the record but its early days for me with vinyl at the moment
Big fan but sorry 6:30 to 13:00 is unnecessary.
You mean me mentioning John and his video - in that video he gave me a shout out for my work so in a way I am just returning the kind gesture, but also he raised two very important points for things we just take for granted so I thought it was a good idea to look at them from a different perspective.
I enjoy your videos but crikey do you use 20 words when 4 will do
That’s probably because I don’t read from an auto cue there are pros and cons to that approach
Omg TWENTY MINUTES standing in line to get into the show?!? Don’t visit Tokyo😂
That’s with about 20 entrances :)
@@PursuitPerfectSystem Thank you Sir for your sacrifice ;) And for the fantastic videos, next best thing to being there.
Too bad you did not mention the music you used. Well you can understand this like I liked the music as well, but still too bad...
Sorry do you mean the music I used in the video I what I might have heard when I was there?
@@PursuitPerfectSystem The music you used in the video...
Ok the two songs are
in and out love - the Eastern plain Tigerblood remix instrumental
Ava Low Butter or Jelly
@@PursuitPerfectSystem Thanks, great taste btw.
Argh… why do I live in🇳🇿.. apart from the obvious
Look at all the cable risers 🤡

The dreadful music just kills the video!
Means you don't like music? Be a bit open-minded in fact the Music was pretty good!
