WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?
A lot of channels do Patreon or TH-cam Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. I don’t like this approach.

WHO AM I?
I am a BABCP accredited cognitive and behavioural psychotherapist living in the south of England. I specialise in working with people who have experienced trauma to help them move forward with their lives.
On this TH-cam channel I try and make information more accessible by discussing psychological concepts through reacting to popular media.

Been waiting for this song, it's one of my favorites! I think my favorite is Armed And Dangerous or Rockstar In His Prime.
13:54 He grew up in Chicago, Illinois. And then his song "Lucid Dreams" went viral. He moved to California and started making millions. He sadly died on December 8th 2019, just 6 days after his 21st birthday. He pretty went from living with just enough money to get by, to him having so much money he didn't know what to do with it. He could do whatever he wanted pretty much whenever he wanted.
"this rockstar life turned me into a junkie" meaning the money he had was spent on drugs and lead to his passing

Keep going man! Juice is my favorite artist ever and I have got him tattoed on my whole calf, smiling. Also I have his motto 999 tattooed three times. I have been strugling with mental health for (i think like) 8 years from now. I am 22, and the combination of therapist explaining what is going in this particular thing, which is Juice and his mental health problems hidden in his lyrics make me really think. Thank you.
about 13:30: I think one of juice's lines in 'Until the plug comes back around' (which I really recommend you listen to btw) is a really good explenation for this:

He basically talks about how he doesn't really put any value to his money, but still shows expensive things/brands (diamonds in this case, but gucci in 'Lean wit me') to make his haters 'sea sick' (or in other words jealous).
I hope this helped you understand his line better. Also, great reaction man. I don't mind the pauzes at all, I really think you talk about the important stuff. One song I would recommend you listen to is 'In my head'. Its one of his latest singles and theres a lot to cover (also it's a banger lol).

its hard to find words to describe what juice was like, he didnt care for all the materialistic stuff, but he had so much money and his lifestyle sort of revolved around all that. One of my all time favorite artists i still listen to daily.
Juice was on a journey and if given more time could have gotten healthier mentally and with his addictions. He was talented right out of the gate and didn't get a chance. From his honesty, vulnerability and heart he made some legendary music. RIP Juice 999

it was self released by juice thats why its not on his spotify and stuff because of his label but its not necessarily "unreleased"

+We dont know when The Party Never Ends is gonna release since the label's been lying about it for over 2 years now but Juices team is currently in Japan to work on it and they claim its still gonna release this year

Apart of me thinks juice was fighting the want to die, even though he was doing so much he still was looking for a reason to live due to all his anxiety and stress. The fast life all that shit plagued him
First thing you ask was what is closure and I think it meant both closure from his past pain and if that meant permanent closure then so be it…….he used high fashion to “cover his insecurities” as he has said in other songs and he specifically mentions “went to Hollywood thrills from the street life” to display that he is still the broken kid that was in the streets but now he is rich and can take more risks . That is how I interpret this song.. you ask if there is a journey but i wouldn’t exactly say that for juice i take his music as like notes in a dairy. There is a unreleased song named “we dont get along”in which I believe he talks from the 3rd person talking about him self

The girlfriend overdosing scene was just like a scenario in his head, like how he felt might happen if things were to go the way they did and to add more depth, understanding and meaning to the song and earlier in the video you could see juice himself overdosed on rhe floor so it can so be interpret as like he talking about him but in a way that's not easy understood and like explain how much of a mess he was in and that he cannot differentiate between himself and others because of it and you could see two guys wearing ski masks before that which represent his demons so it could also be interpreted as like he already OD'd and now he's seeing his demons and he made up this scenario after he's dead cause he doesn't know it yet and thinks it's someone else that overdosed
15:40 Yes there is a change, in his newer music you can see more expressions of happiness rather than depression, it's sad to think that maybe before his life ended he was becoming happier, and it's sadder to think that he scheduled rehab exactly 2 weeks after his passing previously because his friends and family begged him to go. The party never ends is scheduled to come out in 2024, but Lil Bibby is being a prick and not releasing it because of all of the leaks(which makes no sense, you would want to release it earlier when there's leaks). Also, juice specifically said what he wanted released next( a couple months before his passing) and his label didn't release either song he wanted to be released; it makes me sad to think they aren't even following his requests when releasing his own music.

whether he’s able to do this or not, i hope u find a therapist that works for u. i’m 17 and started therapy when i was 14 so i know how it goes. i’m not in therapy anymore because i was able to work through a lot of things but i also had/still have sometimes depression. i also still deal with anxiety. but anyway i hope everything works out

also on the party never ends, nobody knows when its dropping but Juice WRLD day is dec 16th so maybe then? His management constantly lie about release dates so we really don't know.
With the 911 call Jarad reversed the role of him calling for his girlfriend. Jarad did overdose once before and his girlfriend called for medical people to help him. The timing of this song was as his first album came out. Miss my friend a lot. It was great to be able to work with him in the years that we could!

@@Notyouraveragepancake Yep 👍. Gave Jarad most of his beats for all of his albums and songs. I was really happy recently because I saw that Dr. Dre helped me out with some production on a song that I wrote with Jarad and Cordae!

Regarding hollywood hills from the…If you listen to ‘I’ll be fine’ you might catch a glimpse of the drugs he was into before the fame. When it was said prescription benzo would kill him, he continued drinking lean and adding Percocet into daily routine. I feel when the fame came he isolated more into his music. I often think of how Michael Jordan wouldn’t even go out of the hotel when he got so famous. Fame is lonely idea. The raw studio version of Lean wit me is so emotional as he comes up with the lyrics for the first time off the dome.

By lean with me he means, to drink lean with him which is the drug 'codeine' mixed with cough syrup and cold drink and my pop with me he means popping the drug pills
The reason why he’s saying he loves the money is cus this is his first album where he had money and the one where where he said he didn’t like it it because it on his last album he like the money in the beginning but as time went on he started to regret it

About 6:30 Juice wrld was a drug addict as you probally know. Lean is a populair mixture of Codeine and Pormethazine also known as purple syrup or purple drank. Jarad higgins died in late 2019 to a seizure due to an overdose of Lean and oxycontin/oxycodone. Hope this was helpfull amazing reactions keep up the great work!

People forget he would’ve got 6 figures every time he performed, also after he died i check his stream numbers and he was and still is in the top 20 most streamed artists on spotify so even if he spent 5k a day or even 10k he would’ve most likely made a profit in that day alone
