During the Super Junior throwback series I’m checking out SUJU’s mvs from debut to their recent comeback.
SUPER JUNIOR (슈퍼주니어) 'One More Time (Otra Vez)' music video and song is great. The song is so catchy I think the collaboration with REIK was perfect. SUJU was styled so well too. I loved this era for Super Junior.
SUPER JUNIOR 슈퍼주니어 is a kpop group that consists of 10 members: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. They are under SM Entertainment, Label SJ.
Super Junior has some songs that are considered classics in kpop such as: Sorry, Sorry, Mr. Simple, Black Suit, Lo Siento, One More Time (Otra Vez), Burn The Floor, 2YA2YAO!, SUPER Clap, I Think I, The Crown, House Party, Burn The Floor, and more. Their discography is incredible filled with many songs that any kpop fan will recognize.
SUPER JUNIOR 슈퍼주니어 recently had their comeback. Their song 'Mango' is the title track to their 11th mini album ‘The Road: Keep on Going” - The 11th album Vol.1. The album includes the songs: Mango (title track), Don’t Wait, My Wish, Everyday, and Always.

They killed it in these eras.. I hope they can do more collabs with more international singers!! Kry did collab with Indonesian singer rossa in super show and they sound so heavenly!! They need to make an official collaboration!
I'll check out the collab with Rossa. So far the collaborations I've heard from Super Junior have been great

Super Junior's "One More Time (Otra Vez)" came out in October 2018. This song has a Reggaeton beat, with a Korean and Spanish collaboration mix.
Fun fact: Although it looks like they filmed this MV in Las Vegas, they were actually in Macao China, which is kind of like the Las Vegas of China, and it was filmed at the MGM Resort there. (Check out their VLive SJ Returns reality show to see a behind the scenes of them shooting this MV.)
There were 8 SuJu members + 3 Reik members in this MV. You might have noticed you didn't see Heechul sing or dance. He was recovering from some health issues at this time that prevented him from singing or rapping in this song, so that is why you saw him sitting in the chair and only killing us with his looks this time. LOL At this point the oldest members Leeteuk and Heechul were 34 and Ryeowook, one of the maknaes of the group, was 31. This MV was actually the first MV that Ryeowook was in after being released from his military service.
As you may know, Reik is a pop-rock band from Mexico, which is a trio that is made up of the main vocalist and the two guitar players.
Yeah, Super Junior is once again paving the way for Kpop in a new market. They decided to take their sound and flavor to Latin America in an attempt to reach their Hispanic fans all over the world, as well as all their other fans. Latin America is pretty much an untapped market for Kpop, and, true to form, Super Junior is never afraid to experiment with their sound and style and to find a way to make amazing music that's new and different.This was a new direction for Kpop.
Super Junior is actually one of the most popular Kpop artists in Latin America and they have a really big Hispanic fandom. If you pay attention to the comments on most of Super Junior's content these days you will see that there are actually more comments in Spanish then in almost any other language, even Korean.
If you like their Latin vibe, check out the Korean version of "I Think I" (they also have a Japanese version with its own MV.) and "Animals", or "Ahora Te Puedes Marchar", which is a remake/parody of a famous Spanish song by Luis Miguel.

I swear this was the song that really did it for me. I was like ok suju, you got me lol. didnt know their voices yet, but when I heard yesung sing 'baby one more time' I was like WHO IS THAT too, it was so distinct. smooth, deep, soulful. and found out it was him. I was like thats it. done. I hope they do more Spanish songs bc oof.

Yassss another perfect collab, and yes, I agree with everything you said, ahhhh I was wrecked by every single one of them and I loved it!!!!
Regarding the styles, I thought that the classic female Chanel bouclé jackets with the signature layered pearl necklaces combined with destroyed jeans was genious! NCT also wore this in the "Birthday Song" video. And I saw the lattice with flowers pattern in this video before I saw it in the West from designers and the knockoffs where everywhere in fast fashion. It's an example of how western designers are increasingly catering to the luxury market in Asia. Btw, the video was filmed in the spectacular MGM hotel in Macau. Booking such locations for shoots is actually the most expensive thing about them.
SUJU looked so expensive and stylish in this MV also the location is beautiful too. Their stylist was a genius for styling them like this in this era (and in Black Suit and Lo Siento as well).
