Hey Andy. I'm a college graduate 🎓 for masters in Healthcare Management. I currently work at a hospital in Long Island, NY as an Environmental Services Aide. I have a LinkedIn profile would you happen to take a look at my LinkedIn profile? I'm interested in working as An Environmental Services Supervisor at a hospital or Administration entry level position role? Thank you I need your help. There are times when I applied for work but im qualified for a position. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.

Andy, if I accept an offer from a competitor, will my current company find out? New job starts in 4wks, but I want to stay at current job for 2 more weeks.. only have a few days to accept the offer.i want my decision to be private for now… will the recruiter be able to help me keep my decision private?
Andrew - the search filter tip is life-changing. I ran through a few posts and made some comments with recruiters and talent managers at companies I'm interested in and already have a meeting scheduled with one tomorrow.
Andrew, I’ve been your subscriber from 5-6 years (perhaps from the time you were more active on milewalkacademy) and mostly watched your videos during 2020 before coming back again recently. Please pardon me for asking but I hope you’re doing well health wise.
Andy, the tip with filtering the posts for Jobs is great, but I only see these Content Types: Videos, Images, Live videos, Collaborative articles, Collaborative articles, Documents - but not Jobs. Does this only work in the US (I am located in Switzerland), or do you have to have a recruiter linkedin license?
Andy, I just tried to do the search for job posts over the last week like you did in your video... Under content type I am no longer seeing "Job Posts" as an option. The other 5 content type options are there. (Videos, Live Videos, Images, Documents, Collaborative Articles) Looks like LinkedIn may have removed this feature unfortunately.
Yes. LinkedIn is absolutely notorious for changing its features. This is why I rarely do LinkedIn videos. When we created the course that’s inside your library, they had changed features the day before I was presenting some of them to you. There’s no way to keep up with the constant changes, but I would strongly suggest using their help text if you’re trying to do something.
Appreciate it. It’s the one thing that bothers me whenever I do LinkedIn tips. They are constantly changing their platform and literally from week to week their features and functions change. I actually put in an entire course together a few months back, and as I was preparing for the course, practicing some of the tips, they were even changing within the week. do your best to try to find an alternative or something close!
LinkedIn keeps telling me that I don't have an "all-star profile" because I haven't added my current place of work. I am currently not working, as I am searching for a new career. How can I handle this?
HUP, there is a problem (for ages) on linkedin that you can't change or sometimes add a background, I was unable to change mine, but I re-did my profile pic
I am moving to a new city due to my husband’s new job. Now I’m left looking for a new job. I’m tired of figuring out how to apply for new jobs. I’m 50 years old, already feeling defeated.
That’s because LinkedIn changes its features on a weekly basis. It’s literally impossible to keep up with all the changes. The minute I demonstrate something, they change it.
@@riceadtotally. I recently created a multi day, LinkedIn course and right as I was getting ready to deliver it. I was testing all the features again and they changed something the day before!!! 😂

Thank Coach - Very direct and true facts. Thanks I need that , change my mind mainly in my way that I though about first impression.
You're so welcome!

Hi there!! Thanks on this. The reason you’re not seeing it is because LinkedIn is constantly changing its features and I believe they’ve removed it. 😩
@@andylacivita too bad, many thanks for the heads up!
Thanks so much for posting! Super helpful tips. :)

Struggle with figuring out what I'm actually good at. The things think I'm good at, my colleagues call me out on. I've done so much, but avg.
Hang in there!
Andrew - thanks for sharing - great job! the search filter tip is fab...but I don't see that option when I try - any thoughts please?

Some great tips on how the LinkedIn profile is actually used by other people and what parts to spend time on improving. Thanks Andy! 🔥🔥
You're welcome Andy!
Great tips, but your dog going back and forth was my favorite part!
I have three of them!! 😂
How do I change the order of the "skills"? I clicked on "reorder" but I can't move them.
the problem is not these tricks , it's getting ghosted by recruiters
Hang in there. 👊
Been ghosted multiple times.
@@myles5158I’m new to this and just got ghosted by the first recruiter that reached out to me. I didn’t know that was common
Thanks Andy! I picked up a new trick to use. You are awesome.
You're welcome!
I’m new to this- how do you get endorsements?
I asssuming the summary part is rhe about section? Any examples?
So, do I need to go back and follow all the people I wanted to connect with?

How do you put a promotion without a title change? I moved up to the next level but titles encompassed three levels.

This resonates with my frustration. I have to learn how to use LinkedIn from the beginning. 30 years at my job. Good luck.

Would you suggest to add TikTok’s to your page?
I don't have "Job posts" in my content type?

The ability to sort posts that mention jobs unfortunately is no longer available on LinkedIn as of 6/25/24.
Sorry to hear that. It seems like no matter what we try to show, it’s changed by the next week! Ugh!!!
