True story.....I USE to drink Whiskey and Play Ms. Pacman at the Rainbow Bar n Grill with Lemmy...We had lots of deep talks.....it was the early 1995? I was 33//// ...so He looks at me and says..." You look like your looking for some Advice" ...I was was like / Fuck yea...and says..." Always expect the unexpected"...and then he says..." there are people for you and then there are people that are NOT".....I Looked him back Dead in the eyes and said Life is all about "Sacrifice"...he reached over the ms . Packman table and shock my hand....this song came out about 6 or so months later...have no Ideal if what I said had anything to do with it....but it has Forever kind of Fucked with Me......the Rainbow let him take one of the Ms. Pacman table's to his home....I read...and read he Passed away on it.
Mikkey Dee has got to be one of the most creative yet underrated metal drummers ever! The man has such a recognizable style and touch ever since King Diamond days and KD never had a drummer as good again!

Very close to the original Mickey Dee's powerhouse drum style. Basic drum pattern is really hard to play clearly and balanced. It just sounds simple but it ain't actually simple to play. Believe me, I've tryed.
Yes, remember to close-mic the hell out of your drums. Get those bass drum mics deep inside the bass drum. It is very important for us to know what each part of the drums sound like from a distance of a few inches! Because that is how we listen to drums, we stick our ear up against the snare drum for example. Thank you very much for this close-mic’ed and crushed flat drum sound. Remember: if something has been done the same way for several decades, it means it has absolutely been done the right way. We must ensure there is no sense of air and space around the kit.
