Awesome video as usual! I can't wait to get back at surf fishing for snook this summer!! Btw what shoes are those? They seem to have great grip on those rocks!
Hi Rich, I live local to you and fish all the area beaches, and I recall last year I did pretty well with some bruiser jacks out front in April. Unfortunately this year I haven’t see any. Any ideas on how I can improve my odds? I’m fishing almost exclusively late afternoon into dusk for now but of course I’ll change it up if needed. Thanks.
Hey Rich, what's up. Wanted to ask about the gloves your wearing and maybe a link to finding them. Looking for a decent set to help pad and grip onto my rod N reel. I jig alot and tend to blister up my hand. Thanks bud, keep up all the good work.
Hey there unfortunately they aren’t available yet. I’m working on them with tide chasers apparel. I’ll let you know in the videos and on my insta @fishaholicfishing when they are available
Haha yeah you gotta do what you gotta do. I should have brought my hook sharpener. The hook point got a little rounded off from hitting the rocks a bunch of times.
Yes I have and it was really tough fishing but also the time I was there when I fished the most it was winter so the waters were cooler. I caught only really small Snook. Had one decent bite. I’ve only been there once during the Brazil summer but I didn’t have much time to fish. I surf fished one day and caught nothing.
Its not all about catching giants, love to see how you work your way along the beach and nailing it with light tackle, how much fun is that!
This was fantastic. I have been a fan for years. I am a Salt Strong member. I love to fish with the
Power Prawn in North Carolina.
Awesome!! Glad to hear!!!
If that’s what he calls light tackle then what’s heavy look like? Lol
Interesting. I always just cast out as far as possible, not sideways like that. Good to know
In this area the snook like to be as shallow as possible to pin down the bait and eat it.
Same
Where did you learn all these techniques? You seem to be a master of all variations. Very cool bro.
Great video sir
Which Dr. Juice do you use primarily?

Can you eat snook?
I'm thinking his mom is in vacation in key west! I saw him last weekend. 😅

Cara que lugar incrível, robalos na beira da praia ! Muito bom.
Just got back from a nice long vacation in The Keys and Bonita Springs. Fishing has been good, plenty of bait, and a good wide variety of fish.
Awesome!!! Glad to hear you caught!!
looks fun man, can't wait for this season!
i told you your channel was going to grow! Watching you since you had 17k subs! Much love man.
Hahaha thanks so much bro for the support!! I never thought I would be doing what I’m doing now.
Great video, beautiful day with lots of action.
Love the adventure, thanks for bringing us along.
Cheers
Thanks so much and really glad you enjoyed!!
i love how you just sharpen the hook slightly before re casting after that fish popped off lmao
Haha yeah you gotta do what you gotta do. I should have brought my hook sharpener. The hook point got a little rounded off from hitting the rocks a bunch of times.
I love these land based surf videos
Wonderful video. Can't believe how many fish there are around the area.
Thanks so much!! Yeah at times it can be packed full.
Congrats Buddy for the awesome fishing day. A big hug from Rio de Janeiro
Thanks so much!! I’ll be back in Brazil soon 🤙🏻
The background music reminds me of survivor man. Very nice
Hahaha 🤣 thanks. Glad you liked it!
Great day. Some claim the Xrap XR-10 which has the tail fluff works better for snook? I like it in the olive green.
Yeah that is also a great Rapala combo! I haven’t tried it much with bucktail hair on the rear hook. But I’ll have to try it soon.
@@FishAholicTV The negative of those is the hooks are not as strong and they rust. I think the ones u use are stainless hooks.
When does the snook spawn usually start to begin?
I believe as early as late May in my area depending on the water temperature. But generally throughout the entire summer and even into early Fall.
Great day fishing. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Michael! Glad you enjoyed!
amazing episode mate, you Rock!
Haha thanks so much!!
You are the best bro!
I'd like to know how you found a beach with zero people on it? Coming down next month for some snook fishing, can't wait! Thanks for the video!
Haha google maps and a lot of time out there. Good luck on your trip!!
@@FishAholicTVI know where he is , won’t tell but #wehatelake Okeechobee
I know exactly where this is since I’m local 😊 but all I can say is it’s all about the access.

Have you had an opportunity to fish any coastal regions in Brasil ? If so, what can you compare it to of fishing on the South East coastal US ?
