Yay! Anthony is back. Just found FOA and this site over the 4th of July weekend and, as I sit here with a case of Covid, this site has brought much joy. Glad you are well and so happy to see this video.
You are always honest about your cooking. I'm going to try this with jasmine rice and use the Tony's as you suggested. I appreciate that you don't "act" like everything you make is a wowzer.
Baggie 😁 I haven't heard that since 4ever but that's what we used 2 call them when I was a kid @ home 💞 To save ur left over onions/veggies & if u have a lunch pail (I have a cloth 1 with silver-ish lining), plop in a frozen 99 cents ice thingy. It'll keep a good temp til u can get home. I'm so cheap I can make a nickel cry, & was raised 2 save everything! 😵
Just wanted to say thank you life has been tough lately but whenever I get home and see you put a new video up it gives me an escape if only for a little while. Especially love getting ideas from your cooking videos.
Hello Anthony instead of putting salt why don't you add a chicken or beef cube and that will make the rice kick it up a level and maybe instead of putting a whole tomato you can put a can of stew season chopped tomatoes. Take care and keep on making the video, 🥰👍
Your videos are so relaxing 😌 I need them especially now trying not to stress with my current situation trying to find a new place to live and the landlord where I am now not wanting to give me more time but I'm going to keep praying & looking I know Jah will provide but thank you for your content 🙏🏾 ❤ 💙 😊
Frankie, check with a local Native American resource center near you. They usually don't turn down help for anyone, unless they don't have any occupancy. I am sure you will find some helpful information. Good luck
Anthony try the frozen bags of veggies from Walmart or ALDIs. If you have freezer you can put what u do not use on ziplocks. It saves you from heavy cans
I loved your adventures, but glad you're back home and cooking and feeling better. You made me laugh so hard when you said;"I'm all up in yall grill". 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Stop by a military surplus and get you a P-38 can opener and you won’t have any issues with opening cans. They are compact and work the best IMO and it what I use at home. Also chicken bouillon is good to have on hand for rice dishes and it doesn’t need refrigerating.
I was thinking a P-38 also, you can hook it to your key ring and always have it on hand-check it out. In fact, do a little browsing in the surplus store, you’ll probably find many things that would be practical for your journey.
That looks delicious, Anthony! You can still sprinkle a little salt and pepper over it after tasting it. It was probably better not to add much to it before...maybe just a little to the rice. The ham could have overpowered it and made it too salty. Glad to see you back in PA. You did good to choose a nice, quiet neighborhood park.
I'm undergoing a huge change in my life and I use your channel as inspiration. Always be yourself and pursue happiness. This channel is a form of giving so don't be afraid to spoil yourself and keep standards. One of the hardest thing for emphatic people to do is to know limits with giving. You are doing more than the average person; big up to yuh channel. Your spirit emanates a level of life that these " pastor pork chops" don't have. Never loose that light within you.
You have really great creative cooking ideas.. you cook a lot of things I have never seen anyone who lives off the grid do.. a touch of garlic salt would have set it off nicely.. but hey that's just me Lol.. you should definitely write a cook book.. Anthony have a wonderful Sunday my dear and continue to take good care of yourself 💙
Hi Anthony. I was missing my lil shorty.....Glad you are home safe and feeling better........Please continue to do what you always have done on your channel. You are a ray of sunshine to the people who watch you. Don't ever change ❤️😍🙏.....AMEN!
This looks like a great dish to eat on a cold winter night. I've never heard of steaming a whole tomato in rice before. I'll have to try it sometime. Thanks for the videos, Anthony!
YOU COULD HAVE USED THE SAUCE AS THE LIQUID TO COOK THE RICE WITH, MAYBE WITH A MIX OF SOME WATER WITH THE SAUCE WOULD HAVE ADDED VERY GOOD FLAVOR TO THE RICE :)
Yes, I was wondering where you was Anthony, I miss that great laugh of yours!.... 😂😂....I enjoy your cooking, the rice looks delicious! 😋... I was praying for you tho! 🙏🏾😀 FOA SQUAD! 💕
That’s gotta be the most peaceful thing ever… cooking outdoors like that. I’m gonna have to try it! Glad to see you back hookin’ it up ! (I was hoping the tomato would’ve given it more of a southern, “red rice” effect… but it looks GOOD!!)
Glad you made it back safe. I love rice but for the summer month I try not to eat starch. I made a dish similar to your I use Birdseye vegetable in the bag seasoning. It had peppers, onion, asparagus, carrot. My dish was delicious. Happy to hear you’re feeling better.
Hey Anthony! That’s pretty! It does look tasty! Thanks for sharing!! Looks like it’s about to storm. Be careful and safe!! Good to see you back on site!! God bless you and yours!! 🙏🏽
Yes! Another cooking video with Anthony my favorite. Sitting back watching you cook and converse with us puts brings me so much peace! Good to see you back Anthony (:
I love reading FOA squads. These are some wonderful friends and so caring. I need friend like them. If you ever have to take a break, would you just do some still shots to let us know you ok and doing great or bad anything will do
🤗Antony -Good to see you’re healthy, rested and back at the Fort. 😊. Like you I love my rice 🍙 ( jasmine or parboiled. ) 🍙. I use bone or vegetable 🥦 broth , a garlic clove, sea salt 🧂 or soy sauce added to the broth. 🌽 🥕 🥬 It looked delicious Anthony .😋. Add a Fried egg 🍳 top it off. (yummy) .Thanx Chef🧑🍳 Anthony for a great day cooking..👏🏽
Hey Anthony glad to see you feeling better, the next time you cook rice a good way to make it more flavorful cook it with chicken broth instead of water. you will taste a big difference.
Real good recipe. The liquids you put for flavoring were great idea. I thought was going to need salt and pepper. But still a great recipe. Will be glad when your funny self gets back from all the travels. Was a lot of miles and a lot of doing. But you will rest more and be back to your self soon. Really appreciate your vlogs!
Rice is one of my favorites, too. There are certain dishes that I make that definitely need rice to complete them. I’m not big on potatoes though I do eat them occasionally. I enjoy watching you cook but I still wonder where you learned it all.
Hey Anthony I’m so glad to see you back cooking, I watched one of your videos when you cooked chicken and rice and you added a package of the Lipton soup mix or use chicken flavored rice mix, this probably would have brought it to that wowza factor you were looking for. By the way I fix this rice often minus the tomato I add 🫑 bell peppers, thanks for sharing you always have great content.
Can vegetables are hard to season and tend to be very soft too- try frozen it fresher and better. Sautee garlic, onion ,pepper and Badia complete seasoning first than add chicken stock, and all other ingredient you used it will be a wowsar
Dang that looks awesome, can you please put the recipe in the description? And is that a rice cooker or a slow cooker with a rice setting? I've found that makes a difference. I'm going to try this with adobo and a can of diced tomatoes. That looks 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 for simple taste bud folks like me. Thanks a million and I'm so glad you took time off the road for your well-being. Team #FOA for the win as always 🙏🏾🙌🏿💯❣️🔥🎵
Alright guys, I tried this in my slow cooker, it was off the chain!! 1 cup long grain white rice, rinsed and drained, 1 and 1/2 cups of water, one tablespoon canola oil, diced canned sliced carrots about half a can, half a can of yellow kernel corn, half a can of green peas, half a can of diced red tomatoes, one small onion diced very small, about a handful of diced ham, I used my slow cooker on the rice setting, a generous sprinkling of Adobo and two cloves of garlic chopped up very fine. For the sauce, one tablespoon of rice wine vinegar, one tablespoon seasoned soy sauce, one tablespoon of oyster sauce. WOWZERS!!! it made enough for lunch and dinner y'all. Anthony came THROUGH!! 🐐🙌🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
thumbs up,👍🏻 that Rice with selected Vegetables Diced Ham and Seasonings, looked delicious although you felt it needed more Seasoning,it still looks delicious, thanks for sharing it with us.
SO HAPPY TO SEE YOU. Glad you're feeling better. Next time chop up tomatoe or use canned diced tomatoes or stewed. Add some chicken bouillon to season rice, along with your other seasonings. like a fried rice...only you steamed it. I dont like to see your food wasted..you can buy smaller cans of your veggies next time.
Hi Anthony, I makes a dish something like this. I use chicken, onions, bell peppers. Rice, and salt and pepper, with cream of chicken. I leaves it a bit soupy like. And I can’t eat enough. I sometimes add a bit of sugar. Just enough to add to season. Enjoy
Your upside down rice recipe looks delicious.you are improving on your cooking skills. Try Lawry's seasoned salt or Saxon complete seasoning. Also try bouillion cubes. Love your videos.
When Anthony is back cooking all is right with the world lol 💯👌🏾
LOL. I don't know about all that LOL....but yes, I am back to cooking.

Lol ikr
YASSSSS!!!
Anthony be having me cracking up🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That shimmy shimmying was too close to the trashcan for ME!!🤣🤣
I'm glad you're feeling better.
The rice looks tasty! If you use chicken stock instead of water next time, that may help boost the flavor.
💯
Definitely!
I was thinking the same thing chicken or vegetable stock will add more flavor 💜
Don't be afraid to pour that tice water on the grass it is good for it. I pour my rice water on my plants and they grow wonderfully. Glad to see you.

Hey there Lanteon. I used the whole tomato cause that's what the recipe I saw it from used. I think that I should have at least diced the tomato up.
Great suggestion. Those bouillon cubes really add great flavor.
The recipe looked great to me… I just want him to find a way to wash his veggies before cooking w them.
