Hey Anthony!!! Not surprised at all that Lamont is still sleep, you seem like a great host. We know he smelled it 😂🤣. I love my OJ with pulp ice cold or with crushed ice. My family used to have a timeshare in Florida . So the Shoney’s or restaurants near would have fresh squeezed OJ with the pulp & that’s the only way I will drink it. My body wakes me up super early on vacation so I’ve been banned from planning morning itinerary activities for my family. By 9 I’ve already eaten breakfast & ready to head out. Now work I’m supposed to be there at 8 they are lucky to see me at 8:05. 😂🥰. Have fun y’all !!

I love creamy grits. And the hash reminds me of my mother because she made hash with eggs cooked on top. Have a sister-in-law and her hubby moved to Mexico a few years ago and their fixed income works. It's nice to explore options for your future desires and living needs.

Believe it or not, I have never had grits! I am from the Midwest, and you don’t even see it on the menu. I’ve seen it during vacations but I was always afraid to try it. All I knew about grits was from the old TV show Alice when Flo used to say, “Kiss my grits!”
Thank you for doing your grocery haul video yesterday. I went grocery shopping at a Walmart Supercenter yesterday. When I returned home and watched your video, I realized I should have bought some grits. I haven't had grits for quite a while, and forgot that Walmart sells it.

Hey Anthony..ole granny..retired cook/ chef. Some tricks to keep your meal at peak. Cook the sausage and corned beef hash at the same time. Keep the grits in the pot …put the finished hash and sausage on top and cover back up. Then cook your eggs. Plate and enjoy… Keep everything at temp for enjoyment. Them grits could use a little 🧀😉 jus’ saying. I like my grits creamy..I use a mixture of half and half and chicken broth to cook them. 🤤🤤🤤🤤 OMG …I am currently in the process of getting my temp Mexican visa. I am moving to Lake Chapala, Mexico! Check it out, there are a bunch of videos on here.. It is amazing. I started looking when I realized that I needed assisted living ( I have a genetic disorder that put me in a wheelchair) and saw I could not afford decent care here in the states. After what I found out, it went from I gotta go, to I really want to go. The Mexican culture is very respectful to the elderly. Cost of living😘Wow! I hope to be moved by October.

That is all they can do for me. They said I am not “ disabled “ enough for more. I can still dress myself, bathe, get in and out of bed. I am “ goofy” 😜but dementia is not in play( thank God). I have to literally be found lying in feces and urine or fall and break something serious before they will help. WTH? No way. I am taking control of this situation while I can. The facility I decided on is Vida Bella. It is in Lake Chapala Mexico. It looks like an all inclusive resort! It is under 1K a month 2 meals included. I am so at peace with this decision. Even if you rent/ buy a house you can’t go wrong. A housekeeper/ cook is so affordable. The prices blew my mind. Lake Chapala caters to American and Canadian people. It is the largest freshwater lake in Mexico. The temp is 74 degrees average all year round. I even found videos highlighting the African Americans who are there. I get along with everybody but it is good to know “ we/ us” is there. No issues with racism! I am so ready to do this.

Stopped the video to answer your grits question. In a microwave safe bowl, I measure 1/4 c. (1 serving) of grits and 3/4 c. water. Set timer for 5 minutes. It will be thick. While hot, I stir in bacon grease and cheese. While the grits are in the microwave, I fry a couple of over medium eggs and sausage links. So good!
Nothing like a good enjoyable breakfast. I like how you don’t mind cooking for yourself, and yes the electric stoves are tricky to cook on until you get used to them. Thanks for sharing 💕💕💕
The type of stole you are talking about where the fire comes up is a gas stove the type of stove you are cooking on in this video is an electric stove. You like the gas stove better, me personally I like the electric stove better. But from what I see you did a good job using the electric stove on your breakfast because it all looks delicious especially your grits and eggs! Hi Anthony. Next time try bringing your water to a boil then add grits. Cut down low & let simmer. For extra flavor add chicken broth as your liquid (or half water/half broth) or add a chicken bouillon to your water in addition to salt & pepper. If you want them creamier, add a little milk or half & half along with your butter. I like creamy cheese grits & prefer to cook in the crockpot.
Yes! Yes! There is nothing better then having a great breakfast, it's my favorite meal of the day I can have breakfast anytime, but for me cheese in my eggs please 😊 and I love my grits creamy with butter and sugar 😊👍🏽👌🏽 but I see you enjoyed your breakfast on purpose and enjoy your vacation on purpose ☺️

The type of stole you are talking about where the fire comes up is a gas stove the type of stove you are cooking on in this video is an electric stove. You like the gas stove better, me personally I like the electric stove better. But from what I see you did a good job using the electric stove on your breakfast because it all looks delicious especially your grits and eggs! Hi Anthony. Next time try bringing your water to a boil then add grits. Cut down low & let simmer. For extra flavor add chicken broth as your liquid (or half water/half broth) or add a chicken bouillon to your water in addition to salt & pepper. If you want them creamier, add a little milk or half & half along with your butter. I like creamy cheese grits & prefer to cook in the crockpot.

I like mine creamy with salt, pepper and a lots of butter. l hope that you didn’t throw away the rest of that delicious food. Also, I feel that you should travel to Mexico. I loved my visit but I am hoping to take a cruise there next year.

I like creamy grits as well those were more like a rice consistency probably because he started with cold water. But if you were raised a certain way of eating your foods that is what you will most likely enjoy.
