- Minecraft 1.20 added a lot of new plant blocks so you'll need to get bonemeal to grow them. The best way of doing this is making a skeleton spawner farm and this video explains exactly how to do so.

What is it
Will this mob spawner work with cave spiders?
No it fucking wont Ive spent the last hour trying to do it but the fucking little shits are rhe woret ever. Theres bedrock on the floor lava pools everywhere and they keep fucking biting me and gettinbfme half a heart I cant fucking dtand them

Here’s a tip!
If you place a powdered snow block on the place the skeletons get into by being pushed from the water,it will turn the skeletons into strays letting you get more loot!
Facts!
By getting more loot what do you mean ? More exp ? Special arrows ?
@@patapaton868 slowness arrows which are pretty useful. You get the same amount of loot tho
@@patapaton868If you kill the Snow Skeletons with a charged creeper you get wither skeleton heads. I am not sure if this got patched yet.

Tip: *dig 20 blocks down so u can kill the with one hit letting u get both xp and loot with less effort*
The spawner doesn’t work then so using a bubble elevator with a drop would be better

Found an awesome seed.
Got a lake with an island.
There is a skeleton spawner in this island too!
So now I’m converting the island into a castle. It’s got the lake as a natural moat.
And now I can have my own xp farm in my base

What is a seed???
Nice. Finding double or even triple spawners was the goal. Essentially having 2 or if your truly lucky 3 spawners within 30-40 block radius. On more Vanilla servers this would typically classify as a true exp farm. You’d have to modify the build slightly if baby spiders were one or the spawners as they can fit through a half block and attack you!
cool thing about this is that if you wait long enough, they will die to entity cramming, letting you afk
for loot
for zombie and skeleton spawners,
instead of a slab, put a glass black one above the spawner, so that there is a one block gap between the spawner and glass block.
as it'll still count as a spawnspot but mobs will be instantly push out of the glass.

if you place a slab, it no longer is a spawn spot.
but with a glass block above it with one block gap, its still spawns but gets pushed off instantly

You can also use villagers to lure the zombies to a water elevator where you then drop them from one-shot height

Tip: glow squid may start spawning if Your farm if it’s below y0. Change the bottom blocks so slabs if needed

Works perfectly, great video! I will say for me when I built the farm the torches in the corners were preventing the zombies from spawning, I broke them and it works great now!

Or just put water source blocks all on one side and one on the corner opposite of where you wanna collect items.

You only need 2 blocks above and below. Also, you should definitely make an elevator and drop to reduce the mobs to 1 hit while keeping yourself within 16 blocks of the spawner

@@sanpan-820-21, they spawn with different health now so 20 should leave them all at 1 or half a heart

Having more space below allows the mobs to fall outside of the spawner area faster. Meaning more can start trying to spawn in
I think we can make an improvement in this, so instead of digging six blocks deep , we can dig 20 blocks deep do that the skeleton or zombie will face fall damage , losing almost all of their health, and killing them becomes a lot easier, this tip is maily applicable to the starters. 😅😅😊 Thanks tho its a nice video sir.

A tip put water so it covers the zombie fully and it will become a drowned in a abt 30 seconds you get more loot that way

Where is the galvanized square steel & the eco friendly wood veneers?
I've got my own version where the water works like a funnel with a 1x1 hole under the spawner for the mobs to fall into. Then there's another water stream that acts as a conveyor belt that leads them into a block of lava at head level, with a hopper under their feet to drop their items when they get autokilled by the lava. to get the XP, you just have to punch them once, which eliminates the need for a sword

Instead of using just a hopper you can use a soul campfire on a hopper just to get there loot but if you don't want to just get there loot and want XP go with this method

You can also go down a few more blocks and put a piece of dripstone on top of the hopper. It will double the fall damage making them die in 1 hit.
