@@RevZolution no it’s in the passenger foot well as I wasn’t there to fix the cup holder, I wanted to get at the EPS because mine has failed. It’s a very common issue so you might experience it too. Nice headlight by the way 😃
@@RevZolution it’s the Electronic Power Steering. EPS for short. What happens is a yellow steering light will come on the dash and the power steering won’t work anymore. It might be intermittent but will eventually completely fail, also it won’t communicate with a scan tool as the module will be dead and the EPS will need to be rebuilt as a new replacement costs a fortune and a used part will be a gamble and costs about the same a having yours rebuilt. ECUtesting website will do it for around £300 with a lifetime warranty. I’ll have mine done if I can’t find anything like a broken wire (wishful thinking) lol
Very odd that a modern car would have a cup holder as not standard. I do love 2 seat roadsters as much as motorcycles. But I recently purchased a Dodge Challenger to keep my wife happy.
@@RevZolution Being older than you, I grew up with cars from 70s and 80s. These had ashtrays throughout and no cupholders, but honestly are not as reliable as todays. My father had a garage and worked on British Leyland and aircooled VW. Whenever I see a old British or VW car I can smell the 60s and 70s.
Thabks. Subscribed. Do you know what made them break to begin with
Thanks for subscribing. I'm looking to do more Z4 content soon when I can think of some content to make. So my Z4 never had cup holders to begin with.
Link for thre cup holder?
Thanks!
My original cup holder was missing on the drivers side and I found it in the dash! No idea how it got there.
Very strange. Did you get it reinstalled

@@RevZolution I restored my headlights and they look new but mine didn’t have moisture ingress like yours.
What kind of psychopath designs a car without cup holders as standard? Cheers for the vid!
You're welcome 🤣

Tell me about it. They should all come as standard in cars after 2000, especially a BMW. But at least they're not too expensive
