You could eliminate the HISS sound by turning off the "HearThrough" feature, it's dead quite, the hiss only exists when the the "HearThrough" is on and it's gone when the music is on. Not a big deal for me as a music lover, other features on Jabra 3 is killer like the 4 mic for online meeting is sufficient! I'm a bass player and a recording artist, I love the music sound on Jabra 3 well balanced! I'm happy with my purchase for daily use.

I really believe Jabra makes the best overall earbud. I had the Elite 3 for a little bit and I sent them back only because I'm going to get the Elite 7 Pro but the microphones were excellent. This video influenced me to buy the jabra 3s . From my experience with them there is two major take away. One is , they sound amazing, I was truly impressed with the audio quality. The white noise is there but you do get used to it after a while. The biggest drawback and the main reason why I returned them was due to the Bluetooth connectivity. When alone or in light traffic they connect and work properly but when in a crowded room with multiple BT devices turned on (ie a gym) they start to cut off and on. The only solution was holding my phone close to my chest to maintain a good connection. Other than that, these are a really good earbud but it does have some drawbacks.

The bar has definitely been raised on the TWS market. From "budget" to mid-tier offerings from Soundpeats, 1More, Altec, Jlab, etc. I have tested most and I've got to tell you that it's getting harder to tell which one is best in class. I do wonder what's the next step for the big names like Sony, Bose, Yamaha, B&O, etc. in order to justify buds at premium prices.

Hi Mike!!! Thanks for your review.
Can you suggest between 75t and elite 3. Both are in same price range in India right now.
75t has edge over Elite 3 for multiple connections and ANC.
But my question is sound quality or we can say Codec support. Elite 3 is getting Aptx support and as for as i know 75t doesn't support that.
So, how much it will make difference based on codec support I am using Android mobile.
(in simple words, which sounds better?)

  • @yurytarasinsky627

Well, I've bought them to use with my Ipad Mini 6 mainly (youtube, youtube music, netflix), but tried them with Google Pixel 4 out of curiosity as well (to evaluate the difference about aptx here)
What can I say - rather disappointed due to some reasons:
    1. Sound is just decent, not gorgeous by any means, but for this price range it's perfectly fine except for the one crucial thing = maximum volume achievable!
It's just not enough at all, especially when you are in the public transport or on the noisy street....
Therefore, I tend to use this Jabra Elite 3 for music listening or even movie watching 90% of the time indoors in the relatively quiet surrounding, and only 10% of the time outdoors somewhere in the city park, but definitely not on the crowdy street with traffic!
(for calls it's ok even on the street, but not for music listening...)
And they do provide good noise isolation, but just maximum volume is still too low for serious street usage as headset for the music listening for your understanding!
    2. Noticeable lags, so when you are watching netflix or youtube, there are some annoying non-synchronous latency between the video and the sound occurs, alas, it's my main complaint actually!
Yeah, and by the way, the sound quality with aptx on Android here only a little bit better by the hair than without aptx on IOS, obviously 6mm drivers just cannot provide enough benefits from aptx present I would say...
The overall conclusion - if You're really about the quality sound for music lovers, then Jabra Pro 7 or older model aka Jabra 85t would be the much much better and preferable choice for sure if You're ok with the much higher cost of course!
Otherwise, If You need these Elite 3 for phone calls mainly and music or videos just occasionally - it's ok, and even could be claimed as the best option available on the market for the money they cost and considering perfect in-ear ergonomics, good mics, battery life and decent sound quality

Maybe you can test the call quality in busy restaurant with people chatting in the background. The problem that I always have, is that the earbuds pick up the voice at the background and it kinda annoying to the people in the call. Especially when I am in the concall meeting.

Bought a pair today for £49, after a few years of hearing good things about Jabra buds I was waiting for a pair to fall into a price range I'm comfortable spending.
These are OK sound is good, comfort is good and bass is OK!
Volume is average, I want them to go louder.
But for me I still prefer a good set of cans, bass is heavy and volume is higher.
Wouldn't pay full price for these but at a discount they're worth a punt.

I have a headset with APTX, and I will move on to one that only has SBC and AAC. With my current headphones (APTX) I do not feel any latency on TH-cam and Netflix, because at the beginning, you can see that the delay is fixed and the audio and video are perfectly synchronized, now my concern is that I do not know if the new ones with (SBC and AAC) have this quality. Does anyone know if the ones with SBC and AAC also fix their audio and video synchronization? Or is this feature clearly one of those that have APTX?

I've been enjoying your reviews. I am currently looking for wireless earbuds that I can listen to audiobooks outside or on the bus without reaching ear-splitting volumes just to hear it and not to fall out while walking. I do like the fact your reviews seem to cover all aspects we're looking for when getting earbuds.. including the sound using the mic for phonecalls.

I’ve had the Elite 3’s for about a week now. They’re some of the most comfortable & snug TWE’s I’ve ever used, and they’re pretty good overall, especially in the comfort alone. I will say however, $80 from a company like Soundcore (Anker) can get you more bells & whistles like ANC, Qi-charging, better app support (app support seems to be watered down for the Elite 3’s compared to the 75t/85t, and other contemporaries ), and companies like Soundpeats can sell TWE’s with the exact same feature set as the Elite 3’s for less than $80.
That said, the Elite 3’s are no slouch, and if one is looking for TWE’s strictly on the basis of comfort & secure/snug fit, 2-year support from company, basic app support; the Elite 3’s are definitely a keeper.

The buds go in deeper right? Is there a lot of occlusion(hear/feel your footsteps thump loud in your head) when running?

    • @BrianMadolid
      @BrianMadolid 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@waniman2812 Y’know a lot of people bring up the occlusion issue, but never has such an issue come up for me with any IEM/in-ear style earbud I’ve used, even when walking I haven’t noticed such. Then again, I’m more of a cyclist than a runner, so it’s most likely that I’ve never witness any thuds when I bike, so I can’t really say for sure.
And yes, the nozzles on the Elite 3 go in deeper, but the ear tips are smaller, so there shouldn’t be any discomfort. Keep in mind you won’t be able to use most 3rd party eartip solutions, the stock eartips for the Elite 3’s are pretty much proprietary.

Do these make you feel like you’re underwater when wearing them like most earbuds, flagship or otherwise ? I feel that the Samsung Buds Pro and the Airpods Pro are relatively good at addressing this and hence comfortable to wear continuosly for long periods of time (like a 3 hour conference call!). I had the 65Ts, Galaxy Buds Pro, 75Ts and the 85Ts and none of them were comfortable. Felt disoriented.
