Very nice review thanks. I have bought both the Jabra Elite 7 Pro and the Jabra Elite 7 Active and frankly speaking, I like them both. The Active 7 rubber padding is essentially made for being able to control, place and remove the earbuds when having humid hands (skateboard session, any kind of workout or when it's very humid outdoors...) - Under the same conditions with the 7 Pro, you really have to be extra careful to avoid loosing grip and make earbuds fall on the ground when trying to catch them with wet hands. As a direct consequence, I would say that Active 7 are best to be used for all outdoor activities and Pro 7 are ideal for private or business activities indoor. Both are perfect to substitute themselves to conferencing devices when working on a laptop (tested mainly on a Mac Book Pro 16). This way, I have simply placed away my Jabra Evolve 2 65 and Jabra Evolve 75 and even my Jabra Speak 750 and mainly use the Elite 7 Pro during all my calls with Teams or when looking for tutorials and trainings on various on-line platforms. I have also discovered that I can share my earbuds with my wife (she likes the 7 Active more than the Pro) when watching a movie from my Mac Book Pro through the Audio Midi Setup App on Mac OS for configuring a Multi-Output so that the sound can be played in both the 7 Pro and 7 Active from a single source. This is very comfortable with both devices as we can watch a movie on a cruise boat with the kids sleeping in the room without disturbing them and we can even control which device is the master for controlling play/pause for both devices and the single source... Overall both models are pretty awesome. I like them both and I feel other earbuds from other brands are not so convenient overall with the Jabra Sound+ App and the Mac blueetoth integration. And the battery autonomy is really good unless you wish to use them for watching three our four movies in a row without any break taken in between :)
Have you noticed if there is a difference in volume output? When set to the same volume level, I noticed that the Elite 7 Pro volume seems to be lower in volume than other earbuds that I have.
@@CEONTHEMAKING I want to buy active 7 pro are they good for the gym? I had 75t elites but they got clogged 2 times with salty sweat and I had to clean them with a needle,
The difference I see between the 7 and the 75t is the in ear comfort. The Elite 7 can almost stay in my ears for a day without any problems but the 75t I can't go above 2 hours
Biggest issue for me with the 75T was connectivity. The slave master connection between the 2 buds was rather poor. Great that the 7 connects both buds to the source. 75T also suffered a lot of crackling sound issues for me, and I tested several units. Though this might have been fixed at some point with a fw update (as it was introduced by one - a unit with fw prior to the anc update did not yet have that issue). Overall nice earbuds, great fit and controls, but had its little kinks.
Very perfect review. Thank you very much. With larger years, I see the benefit of the grip technology. However the noisy environment is handled better by PROs. For me with less phone calls and more sport active situations I guess I'll go with actives.
Excellent reviews. Trying to pick an earbud is a bit overwhelming with choices - but your vids are clear, concise, and seem fairly unbiased. Thank you!
very helpful information. I recently received a pair of Jabra 7 Active as a warranty replacement for a pair of Elite Active 75t earbuds that had a right-earbud sound malfunction. I can tell the difference in the bass intensity and call quality (75t seemed to be better in both respects), and the Active 7 loses the ability to pair to multiple devices simultaneously. It was great being able to pair to my cellphone and to my work laptop for times when I needed to be on a MS Teams or WebEx call, while I could also take incoming calls from my cell. Overall I think the Active 7 will do the job but I think they’re a bit of a downgrade for my purposes. Thanks for the vid. BTW you’re a handsome guy with a nice voice that is easy to listen to. Keep ‘em coming.
Was thinking if I should take these ones or airpods pro... What would you suggest ? I talk much on the phone and also i switch connection from iphone to macbook 1000 times a day from my airpods v1...as far as i understood the bluetooth 5.2 gives opporunity to connect to 2 devices simulatniusly , so ill be able to connect to my iphone and macbook the same time ? and also are there many bugs in that aspect also ? like when i get calls on iphone but i am listening to some audio thing on macbook .... would it stop the macbook and switch to iphone call and then reverse to macboook ? Thanks , and sorry for many questions, would appreciate if you answer a little elaborated way.
Both seem nice, and both mics seem solid, but I feel pro is better overall because of the better mic whereas active’s sporting aesthetic isn’t decisive enough to set it apart from its sibling. To be honest they should just combined both products into 1, a “pro active” with shake grip AND better mic, an Uber earbud set that will please anyone.
Great video. The Active's sound more true to life in voice calls both in quite and noisy background noise environments in this video test. However it seems the 7 Pro's filter out the background better, noticeably but not too significantly. I think in an outside busy intersection and construction right beside you those would shine better. @Ceonthemaking can you confirm the Elite 7 Active's are Touch Sensitive buttons or physical buttons - Jabra's site states touch. Also multi-device pairing & switching does both support this? Thanks again.

I think the grip is only supposed to help with the handling of the ear buds. I drop my all plastic ones sometimes because my hands are sweaty. I don’t think the grip would help in any meaningful way being on the inside and probably made them uncomfortable in their testing.

Out of desperation, I took the eartips from an old pair of AKG wired earbuds that Samsung used to give out with their phones and put them on my Elite Active 75T's. thanks! I'm trying to decide on a good ANC set to deal with misophonia and couldn't decide between the two. So the $20 difference really doesn't make THAT much of a difference. The only thing I can see on the website is the pro is negligibly lighter.

Great content as usual brother! Question i was debating to pick one of these up but now i came across the sennheiser CX plus which are 180. What do you think and how these compares to the cx plus?
Found your review in depth but are these new Jabra’s superior to the 75 and 85 anc elite versions? I cannot see why Jabra brought these out from listening to some opinions on them. Any thoughts? Another vocally well done review!
Ya, I just upgraded from 75t to the 7 pros. Comfort wise it is night and day. 7 pros are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn (including airpod pros which many people consider to be the most comfortable). The way they are designed, they go deeper into your inner ear and that lets them stay put so well. Sound quality and ANC are also better. Bass isn't louder or anything per se, but it sounds less muffled and a bit cleaner. At the end of the day however, it just depends on your ear shape and for some people they might not be as good as they are for me. Either way, my 75t's are only 1 year old and work 100% fine but I don't regret buying the 7 pros and would happily pay an extra 100 for them (got them for 130).
A question for the Jabra Elite 7 Pro's. Does the "in ear detection" system work by distance from one bud to the other bud, making only one person be able to use them. Or Does it work with pressure sensor, making two friends be able to listen with one bud each?
Nice review! My Jabra elite 7 active’s right earbud is giving out a small hissing sound. It’s noticeable when in low volume or listening to podcasts or audiobooks. Have you noticed that?
Hi Ceo, how do the mics of the 7 active compare to the 85t? I actually really like my 85t but I keep needing to readjust. Hoping the mics won’t be a step down, in fact how does anc compare between them too if you could say please?
in my jabra elite 7 pro automatic answer call function not working properly, i turned off the the automatic answer but tws answering the call, updated to latest firmware
Can you make a video comparing the call quality and hear-through sound of these 2 earbuds in windy conditions? I want to know if either one is better at reducing wind noise. THANKS
Man, I really want to get the 7 Active, but I'm hesitant. I had to return the 75t Active last year because of a hiss sound on the left earbud, and the 7 Active has a ton of bad reviews on Amazon.
Dude, I've had my 75t Active for 2 years now. I can't recommend them enough. The hiss you experienced must have been a bad pair, because these wireless earbuds have completely won me over. I wear them almost every day multiple times a day. I work in the trades and these serve me as a pair of hearing protection with passive noise cancellation and I can use my shoulder to hit the button to turn hear-through on when needed. I also use these at home around the house and when I'm out and about shopping. I even use them while I'm sleeping. Calls? They aren't great at filtering out background noise, but I haven't had any complaints. The sound quality is just stellar too. Honestly, I've worn them into the ground. I've dropped them so many times, my cats have grabbed them and bit into the plastic earpiece.... they've been going strong for 2+ years, but the left earbud is finally beginning to fail, so I'm looking to buy another pair. Especially because they are far cheaper than the current "top of the line" I'm buying another pair to replace my current ones. Best Buy has them on sale for $70 off here in Canada. $170? It's a no brainer for me. I hope you find what you need, friend.
Bought my pair of active through Amazon and was very disappointed. After a day they would disconnect randomly so I'd have to reset them. Now my left earbud does not connect to anything. Also, they disconnect after like 3-5mins if you pause whatever media you're listening to..really annoying as you have to put them back in and out of the case to reconnect
@@Lancell0tRs That's a damn shame. If you can find the 75T Active's, they're the ones to beat. Sounds like Jabra hasn't upgrade their product stack at all. More like downgraded the reliability even. I wonder if many others are experiencing similar issues.
There is no volume control on the Elite 7 Active, according to the manual you hold and press the right button to increase the volume and same for the left but the right button is for the voice assistant, not for volume, so please if anyone can help me out here, thank you very much.
Is there a Jabra earbuds set that lets you find it by like emitting sound or a ring or something if you lose it? And if not, is there an earbud set you recommend that has such a feature
Great information. Now that they have individual usage of the earbuds. Did they take the multipoint connectivity away in these as well. What would your professional opinion about these earbuds. Do you think they're worth getting these if you already have the 75t Elite active but already? Thanks
@@CEONTHEMAKING Thank you so much for your info. I was thinking the same thing. You remember way back when when they came out with the multipoint connectivity and they said oh and update will happen so you can use the earbud individually? That never happened so. I'm not counting on it.
I just bought both... the pros said u can connect two headsets? Also my gf couldnt hear me on the pro? Mayb i need to change a setting. But how is the better mic one worse!?
But did you test the shake grip on gym/exercise situation? Like maybe take both on the run, sweat a bit and does both perform the same even on your tiny ear. Perhaps its just the colour, but the coating seems different under the light reflection

Also agree the 75t's are great. I'm about to pick up another pair myself while i still can
Great review.
Great review! How do you find the buttons on the active? Any differens comparing to the Pro?
Maybe just slightly... you can feel them underneath the rubber
Great information. Now that they have individual usage of the earbuds. Did they take the multipoint connectivity away in these as well. What would your professional opinion about these earbuds. Do you think they're worth getting these if you already have the 75t Elite active but already? Thanks
no multipoint currently. There are rumors that it will come via a firmware update later on. I would stick with 75t for now.
@@CEONTHEMAKING Thank you so much for your info. I was thinking the same thing. You remember way back when when they came out with the multipoint connectivity and they said oh and update will happen so you can use the earbud individually? That never happened so. I'm not counting on it.
Cool guy. Great review :)
How is the comfort of these when wearing for multiple hours straight?
I just bought both... the pros said u can connect two headsets? Also my gf couldnt hear me on the pro? Mayb i need to change a setting. But how is the better mic one worse!?
Love your reviews and you have been busy lately! Quick question: Do the Elite Actives come with the same wireless charging case? Thanks brother.
Thanks! Yes they can be charged wirelessly.
Do it have a call announcer and can it read out your text
Does the Elite 7 pro as well as the 7 active both have volume control on the earbuds ?
But did you test the shake grip on gym/exercise situation? Like maybe take both on the run, sweat a bit and does both perform the same even on your tiny ear. Perhaps its just the colour, but the coating seems different under the light reflection
Thanks for this video bro. Question would you upgrade from a 75t active to the elite 7 active
Nah..as long as your 75t are still fully functional, I wouldnt.
How does it compare to Samsung buds 2 pro. Which one will you recommend ?
Which 1 shuld I get jabra 75t active / elite 7 active?? Also something that wont fall off easily.
Nice review cant really see a difference only the rubber coating 💯🇮🇪😎
you just saved me 20€ thanks a lot for this in depth comparison !👍
What has the better phone quality elite 7 active of galaxy pro
One question, when I buy my first inear, I think about whether I should buy Elite active 75t, elite 7 active or elite 7 pro. What would you do that tested all three? Thanks for great review.
If independent use isn't important for you, i'd probably go 75t.
Nice review,
I have Jabra Elite Active 75t, this one is the perfect device, but doesn't work independently as solo.
So if I Wish to upgrade this Elite Active 75t with newer one,
than which will be better choice Jabra 3, Jabra 7 Active or Jabra 7 Pro ??
Just get another pair of the active 75t's. They appear to be superior in most respects
Great review , still thinking if i should go on the 7 ACTIVE or to go on the active 75t , need it for long runs , and that it won't fall or going to be uncomfortable in long runs , any suggestions ?
In that case, I would go with 7 active since they're a little smaller than the 75t.
Should I upgrade from the elite 65t
Should I get jabra elite 7 active or airpod pros?
Does the Jabra elite 7 pro has find my earbud option🤔
Can this cancel the airplane noise if I am next to the plane wing? Or mower noise? Would appreciate any feedback. TIA.
Bose Quietcomfort are the best for noise cancelation.
Hi! Can you help me choose between jabra elite 7 active, jbl reflect flow pro and jbl under armour flash x? Or at least something you tested from these...an opinion for daily use and gym/running . Please help me 🥺, it s so hard to choose
