I've had a pair of Elite 3's for about 6 months. I wear them all day, every day at work. They often take a sh*t kickin, I charge them at regular intervals. Never had any problems. They sound awesome right out of the box. Best buds I've bought under 100 bucks!

I can attest to the performance of these buds. I work in a highly red dust enviornment using very loud equipment doing sample prep of iron ore, using these daily as my ear muffs they allow for background noise to filter in and amplify the sounds making it easier to hear co workers in noisy environments at the touch of a button. They are exetremly dusty at the end of each day, while still working perfectly after 3 months of use. Absolutely no hiss in either and still no dead buds. Sound is quality.

Watched this review like 6 months ago or so, before trying to decide which ear buds to buy; now I'm here to say that I completely disagree with the reviewer, bought Jabra Elite 3, and for their price its a killer ass product. Sound quality is worse comparing to ear buds that are priced around 300, BUT it is still acceptable, they are very convenient, battery life is good, no pairing issues, basically very pleasant everyday use. Especially suitable for running, working out, as they are very comfy and don't fall out.

I'm sure my ears aren't as well tuned as yours but I have to admit I've not been experiencing the hissing audio issue anywhere near as much as yourself. You SHOULD highlight the ear bud failure. This is a CHRONIC hardware failing endemic in the Jabra Elite 3 line. If you go online and research this, you'll see huge numbers of LEFT ear bud failures occurring 1 week to 3 months after purchase. And it's ONLY the left ear bud, so that means this is a hardware issue. If it were merely a batch of bad batteries, then battery failures would occur equally across both LEFT & RIGHT buds.

Before I played the very first music I noticed that hiss sound, I thought it was because of fan and still same thing I heard.
Then I realise while reading user manual they mentioned there is feature called HearThrough that is by default ON with the product.
So I checked the manually and I turn it off and believe me that hiss sound has gone , same option is available in Jabra app also even i saw that in your video as well.

Quick question for ya, I know you used to sing the praises of the XM3 buds, would you still say the same today? Kinda torn between them and the Edifier Neobuds Pro.. any thoughts? Especially now the XM3s are down to £130 or less.

I bought a pair. Heavy user, including overnight. Worked very well, although connection to Android phone and MacBook would drop-out fairly often. They stopped connecting completely after less than 6 months. Followed all steps recommended by Jabra including resetting, no solution.

Should have watched this video BEFORE purchasing a pair. Didn't realize that there's a hissing noise until I watched this video. As described in the video it can only be heard clearly when the volume is low and when you put them in the ears before starting to play sound. Hissing disappears ~30 seconds after playback stops, and starts again as soon as playback starts.
I've updated to the latest firmware and the issue is still there.
Considering for how long these have been out now, it must be a hardware issue since they have not fixed it through firmware updates.
Never had a pair of earbuds where you can hear a static noise this clearly, feels like a constant ringing sound in the ears.

Wait, don't these have aptx? It says everywhere that they do, that's the low latency mode, isn't it?!
I'm looking to buy these (2 year warranty so I'm not worried about potential dead units), and in my country they are not considered cheap, in fact I consider airpods and equivalents insanely overpriced since they cost as much as a mid range phone. If these are only good for music and podcasts, I'll save my money because I already have laggy wireless buds.

Imo theyre good for this price. Ive only had mine for a week they havent died yet lol
    Things id like to mention
1: i think the hiss you hear is the hear through mode. The option in the ap that lets you hear the environment around you. It really sucks idk if its the poor quality mic that producing the constant hiss but i hear it too if that mode is on.
2: the sound quality for music is good and clear but the bass isnt that great for jabra tbh when it comes to the bass and tremble id give it a 6/10 if you dont try mess w ur spotify settings to make it better, and im being nice.
3: i have issues when taking calls, v poor call quality and i hear hisses it breaks off sometimes and i cant hear the person or the person cant hear me, this is constant.
4: when i first paired them i had connection issues but reseting them helped now i have no issues.
EDOT: he is right abt the hiss, its very faint but its there 😭
