Current generation Y62 Patrol is a bit outdated, but still can compete to new gen LC300, its real counterpart is the LC200, for me patrol is better choice for money, patrol is bigger and more spacious inside, hopefully next gen Y63 Patrol offers diesel variant like the LC300 (3.3L Twin Turbo Diesel with 302HP with 700nm of torque!)
V8, better insulation, better suspensions, luxury interior, better infotainment system, better speakers, bigger chase, bigger interior space , do i need to continue? The new LC double turbo V6 is an unreliable joke.

The redesigned Honda Pilot sold in US would be my first choice, cause I don't care about V8 but a peppy yet fuel efficient V6 that the pilot offers.
I bought the Patrol V8 because a LC300 in the Philippines is sold 100 percent mark up. Or if you can wait at least 2 years for the dealership.
