@@malisungur I don't think it's an Easter egg. I think they only really thought of kratos as actually battling Zeus during the conceptualization of gow2: after gow1 was done. It's probably just ... some guy, way into the future, just before the coming of Christianity, which is an idea ripped off from the godawful finale to the princess Xena show from the 90s. It makes the mythos feel like a part of our reality. The man may have been kratos, it may have been Ptolemy I of egypt. Who knows

People have always complained about the spikes column and the Gauntlet of Archimedes in Ascension, but I feel like they got nothing on this. This is it. The WORST part ever. Also, things like the box and spike room puzzle, the Blades of Hades, the sacrifice in the Challenge of Poseidon, and the closing wall in the Challenge of Atlas are all more annoying than the two aforementioned challenges.
He really didn't want anyone near his tomb... but he used the heads of his sons and wife as parts of a puzzle and killed his wife himself. And Kratos was the bad guy. Sheesh.
15:40 I heard there is a rumors that Architect who build this temple is still alive. Well here is a proof that he is dead. Looks like this guy have suffered the same fate as Kratos though he is the one who ends up dead.
All those years for Kratos. 1. His brother Deimos was taken from him 2. He risked his life to save his daughter during the quest of ambrosia 3. He killed his family under the manipulation of Ares 4. Lost his nephew Orkos 5. Lost his daughter again. Here he is again in another temple seeing a man succumbed to madness of the gods. He killed his own wife. Pathos Verdes has become the second one who has succumbed to madness just like Archimedes. More and more prophecies show up. Just like the Oracle’s temple at Delphi showing the end of earth; this one shows a lone warrior fighting Zeus. Everything is coming to motion. After conquering Pandora’s temple Ares decides to kill his baby brother just to show him he failed. This wasn’t the first time Kratos faced death. While fighting Alrik, the two warlords fought and spilled ambrosia on them when Alrik managed to kill Kratos by slashing his throat first time Kratos died but the ambrosia saved him. In chains of Olympus Kratos stepped foot in the underworld but he was alive and the walls of Tartarus didn’t hold him. But this one is different. This was the first time being killed. In death the pain of loss and regret didn’t leave him. He fell in the fires of hell knowing he succeeded in conquering the temple but failed to get revenge. Or so we thought While falling into the underworld Kratos had no intention of resting. He wanted to return to earth gain revenge. His indomitable will made him go on a mad slaughter of slayed warriors damned by Hades. Even in death he has pain and now he will unleash it to it’s fullest.
I always wanted to know what happened to kratos's original body i mean the one impaled in pandora's temple for it seems that what felt on the underworld was kratos's soul and not his body.
It was transported by the harpies to the grave of which kratos escaped from, the rope that he climbed was symbolism. In reality ("reality") his spirit found a way to reconnect with his original body.

This entire game is just “Vietnam flashbacks” lol Those puzzles really want you dead. The enemies were brutal and some of them had more health than others with their own combos and all. Is this the hardest GoW? I can't think of any other moment in the games pushing you this far.
Yeah that's what I thought, at least in II you can parry almost everything, I think the 3rd game is slightly harder than the 2nd but manageable. Cerberus, the Satyrs and Skorpius still give me nightmares to this day.
I can't find a way to play like a chicken and beat this area with the conveyer belts. It's one of the hardest areas for me in god mode. I've tried army of hades twice, but it doesn't last long enough.
yeah, once, but need another 1,000 of 10,000 to get the next. I did get thru after a lot of attempts. I'm fighting ares now. god mode. I can't get past him, but I'm starting to figure out how to elude him. His hammer crushes me tho.

You know what you can do is slide that big statue to the right side of the door in the gap between the door and the hole in the ground (well, it's a hole after you drop the brick with the crane). Anyway, the cyclops will not be able to push the statue back, so you can safely attack without them hitting you. You will have to roll back occasionally, but it's much easier. And if they're not behind the statue after you move it there, just run around that hold in the ground, they'll follow you, then get stuck.
Cyclops were actually really easy for me on god mode,just use plume of prometheus from a distance and evade.The part before pandoras box though was a pain in the ass...

GoW 2 had some brutal moments but there were moments of ease. GoW 1 is brutal from the start. Also, if you kill using circle you get zero red orbs!

why don't you ever use the second weapon it'll kill the enemies faster and you don't have to use the magic that much
I prefer the blades because of the range. The blade has a short range and in God mode most enemy attacks do massive damage.
