This is exactly the car I want. It’s simplistic, sporty, has the perfect amount of space and it isn’t that expensive compared to the other classes. Perfect.

The calmness in his voice is so soothing!
The car is abaolutely impressive. It is perfect for urban driving and suitable for long distance trips. Probably the best combination of space and practicality.

Just buy a used c200 (2016-2017), idk what the price is where u live but its around 13-20k in belgium, very very affordable price for an incredibly comfy and great looking car
The cheapest over here in Singapore starts at $160,000 Aussie ..almost 4 times the price lol

I recently got my 2020 Mercedes A220. Thank you for your great review. This is a fun car to drive. It is super packed with technology, and a great size for city driving! It looks as though the one in your video is the same color as mine which is mountain grey. I love this car. And, I think it was definitely worth the money. Thanks again

*I have a 2019 (W247) B200CDi Hatchback with a drag of .24 the most efficient SUV and have proven this over a 90 Mile run achieving 76.3 MPG, this is substantially assisted by an 8 speed Auto Gearbox and ECO Mode that **_freewheels_** - Coasts, the car and disengages the Gearbox totally when lifting off throttle. Absolutely amazing, and you can get 2 Adult Mountain Bikes in the rear without messing about removing wheels etc.*

I needed a suggestion. I’m tossing up between buying Mercedes A180 Sedan with AMG styling, seat comfort & vision package etc or Mazda 3 X20 Astina. I know they cater to different markets. But in terms of drive (power), technology & safety which one would you suggest.
will definitely put this on my raider for 2024-2025 when it depreciates a decent chunk

What's the colour of the car please?
For those saying the car is out of your price range. As an A-220 owner. It's not worth the price. Mine has been riddled with problems and I'm going to be doing a buyback and hopefully it'll be approved.

Roli Vásárhelyi I honestly would. I had a Mazda before. Not a single problem. It’s okay to lease this car cause of warranty, but that’s it. I bought mine and regret it

The A class hatchback looks so nicer and has a bigger and wider both and more headroom for the back passengers
I can’t agree and it is not true. The Sedan looks more aggressive and is longer than the hatchback. But the hatchback looks also nice, ngl

I have the sedan and I hadn’t had any issues yet. And it looks better than the hatch in my opinion
@@ToadStar yeah I agree but I guess it depends what the buyer is looking for. Did you add a lot of accessories to it or take it as it was?
If they had a hybrid version with something like 65MPG, I would be all over it.

Older c class of 2000 have this CG, liked that circles on hood
My car only runs 1000km then problem with aircon, it gives me hot air in a hot day of 35°C, Mercedes said the aircon. Sensor intermittently not able to detect temperature. Oh my God, only 1000km

The car is phenomenal but it is smaller than it looks. For 6'3'' people and taller, c or e class would be more suitable.

I can't agree with this reviewer in regards to the dual clutch transmission, it is truly awful and should only be in high performance vehicles. I've owned the hatchback A200 for 9 months now and the transmission drives me absolutely insane. Accelerating after a traffic light has gone green is terrible. The car pushes you back in your seat, and then continues to have clunky gear changes until third or fourth gear is reached. It's enough to put me off ever buying another Mercedes.
Isn't that what you want...during acceleration people usually likes being pushed to the seatback. I have a VW Golf TSI with DSG which does...but interestingly my 330i MSport with the 8speed ZF auto does not even though it's a more powerful car.
Then sports cars aren't for you man.. that's what sports cars do!

I can't believe it's more aerodynamic than a Tesla. It certainly doesn't accelerate as fast as a Tesla. And it definitely won't match Tesla when it comes to total cost of ownership.

1.3 turbo? Yikes. No sound-proofing under bonnet lid. Call me crazy, and many do, but I'd rather have a new Camry.
Camry practical, spacious, comfortable, quiet and reliable, but with A Class, you have a stylish machine that you can also show off more.
I dont like the wheel color.. And its not looks luxurious cuz its not chrome in the side

I have had 2 E class Mercedes & all I can say is they are over rated & expensive. You might ask why 2 when I didn’t like them, they were both for work. Even the quality of the new large screen is second rate.
E Class like current model can also be very stylish, reasonably spacious, very comfortable and quiet, plus very good RWD-based handling and turning circle.
Do not buy this car people my 16 plate A class piston snapped this year despite always being serviced at the manufacturer garage. Mercedes made me front up costs towards a new engine and refused to cover 100%. Shocking brand that only care about their sale and nothing after that

Basically here is the summary. It's no better than a Mazda 3 or Toyota Corolla. But with a turbo charged engine, plus swastica, over engineered design expect to pay 50% more at purchase and 50% more every time you service it. And after 5 years the maintenance will be a nightmare and after 10 years it will be dumped as nobody will foot the bill for a engine overhaul.

The C Class interior is beautiful and doesn’t look outdated at all, also, I’m not talking about lease, I’m talking about purchasing used.
You would not get the same high technology of this new A class.
I clearly didn’t say the interior is the same, I said the interior doesn’t look outdated and is beautiful for the old C Class. I was speaking about the possibilities of purchasing an old C Class, and for maybe at a cheaper price.
i don't get how anyone can like this new front end over the previous version... this looks so outdated already. other than that, it looks great.
Give me the new Toyota HiAce over this, bigger, roomier, more stylish especially in white, and far less likely to get keyed while in the car park when I am at the hairdressers.

Mercedes Benz just aren't what they used to be. They are built cheap and lack class nowadays, not the same solid feel and quality fit and finish they used to be known for. Now just obnoxiously styled pose mobiles for people trying to one up themselves even though they live in debt and struggle to make the payments on their low end model cars.

Styling is very subjective, but I do agree with you the old model looked better outside.
Too lazy to design a proper dash layout, instead, just stick a screen on top. The sedan is just ill-proportioned and irritating to look at.
I hate the big screen. It makes the Car look super boring everywhere else inside. And i cant even imagine how much repairs costs if something gets damaged. Not the best Car in this Price Range by faaar aka Car for people without anything else to be proud of but money. Pathetic.
