I just recently learned how you can actually fill your shoutgun ammo with molten candle wax so the shrapnel "fuses" together in the wax. The shot doesn't spread as usual, but it all goes as a pack, eliminating the spread and focusing all the force in one point. It makes a difference between grating a bit of a cinder block off, or destroying the cinder block entirely. This shotgun you are using here reminds me of that xD

My girlfriend taught me how to make a syrup that is super effective against flu and also helps with the coughing. She is from Poland and it's apparently used for various things there. You basically just chop a single white onion and a single clove of garlic into cubes and put it into a jar. You then cover it with 5 big tablespoons of sugar, cover it (plastic wrap or screw on the lid), put it to the fridge and wait until the next day. When you take it out, it will have made a thin syrup that you can scoop up with a spoon and drink. You're not supposed to take more than a couple of spoons a day as it can supposedly be a little tough on the liver. It tastes funky, but I can vouch. It works.
I got one shot by ai with it every once in a blue moon before the update and honestly they were the only things I came across with it equipped I think I only ever got killed once by an enemy player with it before lol
when you boil the water for your tee put a bunch of ginger root slices in it and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. also if you have access to a non-poblic sauna - that did wonders for me but you can't make it too hot and you need a lot of steam.

An old school remedy is to take an onion, chop it up into decent sized strips or chunks. Put them in a mason jar and fill the jar with honey. Leave it to sit on the counter at room temperature for a day so it can start to ferment and then just take a spoonful of the syrup every few hours until symptoms subside. Its old school but it works

The shotgun feels good right now - it's powerful, as it should be, but you still gut stuff like at 0:58 where you hit that guy twice and didn't kill him (becausethe pellet spread is more consistent but not TOO consistent) and since it's pump action a squad or group can evaporate you while you're pumping after your first kill. I love it.
Eh, shotguns always were hard to balance, and in comparison to the other weapons in 2042, it needs to be somewhat stronger. ARs are mostly lasers that can kill even above 100m range. SMGs also have a far higher effective range than 15m in this game, I would say most smgs can still kill reliably fast on 40-50 meters. Give a shotgun >15m effective range and the balance just doesnt work. @@ExTremZero
He half-missed that second shot. IMHO they should nerf the range of the shotgun by increasing dispersion a tiny bit, and make pump-time longer, then it's perfect 👍
Jack, one thing I have used before, helped me with 2 tbsp honey, 1 small garlic clove, and a 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Honey coats, cayenne opens up vessels, garlic is an antioxidant. Helped me quite well
Model 10-A Hunter for me in BF1, 19k kills when I stopped playing. I have a few vids on my channel harrasing Twitch streamers with it heh. The sound bug when the game came out where when you died from the shotgun and every pellet that hit you made a sound, very annoying lol. Good times.
By far my favorite game of the year was buldur's gate 3. So well polished so many options and different ways to play on top of the best voice acting and story arcs I've ever had in gaming 10/10

There's not many games that have released the past few years that actually released in amazing states.

Its about time the 880 got a buff...its been a horrible shotgun to use for me, often times being a 3 hit kill...it might be broken, but i feel like it needs to be to compete with the NVK and 12M
I’m also glad the MCS-880 got a buff. I managed to tier 1 one it before the update after weeks of only using it and I’m glad I did. I was sweating with the 880 before it was even popular.

Get phenylephrine and antihistamine jack! Here in NZ we got something called codral. The phenylephrine will help with your congested nose and antihistamine like chloramphenicol will help u sleep. Also for flu that’s pretty much it, not much u can do. just stay home, get a rest as much as you can

Shotguns are lethal with buckshot up to about thirty to forty odd metres, and that range easily triples when loaded with slugs. If you still think it’s silly, never play 4, you’ll be complaining about the pump action shotguns all day long.

Of course it's realistic but that's not applicable here because battlefield isn't about 'realism' if it was then every sniper rifle would kill you on that first bullet. This is about gameplay and gun balance, in my opinion this is balanced slightly to much one way, that's all, no need to have a freak out about it.

For colds I would actually recommend trying out a Hot Toddy, They actually help out really well for colds/flu. Also it's nice to see the shotguns behave like old battlefield shottys, like the 870 from bf4. That thing was a beast and it had some nice 1-shot range.

That’s some wives tale stuff. It’s based off the belief that the soles of the feet are connected to every organ in the body. Better off putting the Vicks where it’s supposed to go.
I don’t mind the shotguns but you can tell for some players it’s the only type of gun they can use to be somewhat effective in a match. They just hopefully get close to someone and just spam the shooting button and hope to hit something.
I’m super late to this but some one of the best things you can do when you’re sick is called “elderberry syrup”, and don’t get the stuff off the shelf. You’ve got to make it yourself which isn’t very hard. It’s only a few ingredients but it works wonders and coats your throat for a bit after taking it too. My wife is a modern day medics woman at this point so I’d be happy to share how you make it if anyone is interested.
When the map released I tried the MCS but I didn't see they buffed it. Well I figured it out really quickly ! Got like 70+ kills almost every matches with it. Really fun to use and I hope they won't nerf it :( This gun was so bad before

Cistus-Echinacea (infect stop in Switzerland), Zinc and Elderberry, and Vit D are my go-to for immune response. You can usually concoct a tea/lozenge combo with said elements, adding honey and ginger. Feel better, mate. I'm in the same boat. Advil cold/sinus for the congestion.

Hey, you still sound great all bunged up with a cold haha. I always pop the Vit C chewy tablets rather than eating Oranges etc. to get me through. A coworker I had from China gave me a Fisherman's lozenger which blew my head off and cleared out my sinuses haha. Oh and he also slowly heats up coca cola in a saucepan, with ginger and lemon - stirring till all the bubbles have gone. Gives you a caffeine hit, and then the goodness of ginger and lemon. :) Get better soon!!
Oh damn, i was wondering why this gun was so fun when playing a zombies mode the other day and it was just shredding! Ofcourse i wouldnt know from normal gameplay, shotguns and slow firing weapons in close range are my weakness lol
For sore throat, gargle saltwater. Start with hot water so you can dissolve more table salt into it, then let it cool. Salt kills everything. Also, it doesn't taste as bad as you might think, it's about like tears, so imagine the people you owned in this vid with the OP shotgun. That's what their tears taste like. That's the only old remedy that I tried that I've found works. It can also work for rinsing sinuses, though I wouldn't recommend tap-water for that, maybe purified bottled water. I had nose surgery to clear out some excess flesh and I had to do a LOT of rinsing to get out very gross stuff, but it can help with sinus infections and cold-flu type infections. Provided there's some room for it to flow from one nostril into the other, if you're stopped up like concrete in the sinuses, might not help much at first....can still loosen or moisturize and get things flowing sometimes. That's just superficial symptom remedy though, there's a lot more to viral infections than the surfaces you can reach with salt-water....but it can help manage symptoms and at least temporarily restore normal fluid(saliva & mucus) function and get some relief.

I always keep some EmergenC+ (the one with extra Zinc) I don't think it would do much in the middle of a peak infection. But it is really good at prevention if you take it after going to a high risk area (i.e. take it after a convention) or at the very beginning of the onset of symptoms. It boosts the immune system significantly for a short time, but don't take it for more than 3 days in a row or you'll get vitamin OD (you'll know when you get diarrhea to expel excess vitamins). Otherwise; painkillers, anti-inflammatories, nasal drops. NyQuil Severe and Oxymetazoline HCl (Nasal Spray) usually brings me back from the brink of feeling like death. Its not a cure, but it will help with symptoms until you start producing antibodies.
For colds, lemsip powder hot drinks work for me every time. works better when u first start feeling effects of cold and take it sort of pre-emptily, then its usually gone in 24hrs.

Its mostly treat the symptoms, honey will help your throat if your coughing and have sore throat, ginger is good for inflamation, pepermint is good for fevers and your stomach, cyan pepper and honey together if your congested. There is alot more but really its all about treating the individual symptoms and you will quickly feel better
here's a recipe from my grandmother its quite simple it will soften your throat mix honey with fresh ground black pepper mix it up good for like a minute and eat it occasionally throughout the day plus if you cough too much or too hard try mixing molasses with red and black pepper infused butter do a couple of shots after each meal youll get better in two days max
Adequate sleep and plenty of water, getting off the screen for a while tends to help too. If fever is high, get a cold damp towel and wipe yourself with it, especially the armpits, the neck. Check for sweat, always wipe it off. How do I know? Im on a flu rn and im feeling a lot better. My meds are Neozep Forte, Solmux, and Exel, idk if these are available there tho.
My go-to during sickness is boiling water with honey, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper powder. Soothing and invigorating! Can put in a dash of whiskey too
As for other bangers that released this year, don't forget about RE4 Remake (probably my personal game of the year), Dead Space remake, and the Metroid Prime remake. Those three games are just as good as anything new that came out this year, if not perhaps even better than a number of them. There was also Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, which are two of the "Big Three" fighting game franchises, so that's fantastic for that genre. 2023 has actually been a pretty nutty year for gaming, which kind of surprised me after how crappy the first half of the year was.

I been using double green tea withe fresh squeezed lemon. Also been using echinacea with wildflower honey. The later really helps the throat. Slippery elm bark tea is good as well. Its called "throat coat" on the US. Vitamin C is the big thing make surs your vit c is natural and high.
Make a nice strong Rum Grog with a decent amount of lemon/citrus, get 2 paracetamols and 1 ibuprofen and go to sleep. Old skool but works for me. Enjoyed the vid.

Take a can of coke and boil it, cut up ginger and put it in the boiling coke. Strain the ginger out and serve hot as a drink, it helps me :)

Get phenylephrine and antihistamine jack! Here in NZ we got something called codral. The phenylephrine will help with your congested nose and antihistamine like chloramphenicol will help u sleep. Also for flu that’s pretty much it, not much u can do. just stay home, get a rest as much as you can

@@jamiecurnock2910Have you played any other FPS games asides from COD? Because that one shot kill range isn’t OP, or silly, it’s realistic. Shotguns are lethal with buckshot up to about thirty to forty odd metres, and that range easily triples when loaded with slugs. If you still think it’s silly, never play 4, you’ll be complaining about the pump action shotguns all day long.
@@decimation9780 yeah I've been playing bf since bad company 1, cod isn't really my thing tbh, also I loved BF4.
Of course it's realistic but that's not applicable here because battlefield isn't about 'realism' if it was then every sniper rifle would kill you on that first bullet. This is about gameplay and gun balance, in my opinion this is balanced slightly to much one way, that's all, no need to have a freak out about it.
@@jamiecurnock2910 Wow, if you think that’s what is called a freak out, I’d hate to see what you consider an absolute meltdown. The MCS-880 is in a good state, it’s nowhere close to OP when looking at shotguns, it’s just in line for what a pump action shotgun should be and do.
For colds I would actually recommend trying out a Hot Toddy, They actually help out really well for colds/flu.
Also it's nice to see the shotguns behave like old battlefield shottys, like the 870 from bf4. That thing was a beast and it had some nice 1-shot range.

Not sure if they’re the same in the UK but mucinex+delsym+sudafed is an absolute cold/flu killler.
Gotta get the behind the counter Sudafed, the one with pseudoephedrine. That stuff is awesome for colds
@@steviejoe66 Sudafed with pseudoephedrine was banned by the FDA 10 years ago. If you can still get it somewhere it would be brilliant. Not in Asia, though. It's all phenylephrine.

I don’t mind the shotguns but you can tell for some players it’s the only type of gun they can use to be somewhat effective in a match. They just hopefully get close to someone and just spam the shooting button and hope to hit something.

I’m super late to this but some one of the best things you can do when you’re sick is called “elderberry syrup”, and don’t get the stuff off the shelf. You’ve got to make it yourself which isn’t very hard. It’s only a few ingredients but it works wonders and coats your throat for a bit after taking it too. My wife is a modern day medics woman at this point so I’d be happy to share how you make it if anyone is interested.

When the map released I tried the MCS but I didn't see they buffed it. Well I figured it out really quickly ! Got like 70+ kills almost every matches with it. Really fun to use and I hope they won't nerf it :( This gun was so bad before

I find the Vicks Vapo Shower, Dissolvable Shower Tablets for Cold Relief, Soothing and Non-Medicated really help me along with high dosibg Vitamin C. Hope you feel better soon mate! Excellent video... helluva kill streak there at the end!

Cistus-Echinacea (infect stop in Switzerland), Zinc and Elderberry, and Vit D are my go-to for immune response. You can usually concoct a tea/lozenge combo with said elements, adding honey and ginger. Feel better, mate. I'm in the same boat. Advil cold/sinus for the congestion.

Sorry to hear that you’re sick Jack, especially with the ‘Rona. That sucks. I had it once, and I found that, while it won’t help you get better, you can gauge your recovery by eating or drinking strong tasting things. I drank a root beer every day until I could taste it, it kind of helped. I hope you feel better soon.

I always pop the Vit C chewy tablets rather than eating Oranges etc. to get me through. A coworker I had from China gave me a Fisherman's lozenger which blew my head off and cleared out my sinuses haha. Oh and he also slowly heats up coca cola in a saucepan, with ginger and lemon - stirring till all the bubbles have gone. Gives you a caffeine hit, and then the goodness of ginger and lemon. :) Get better soon!!

For sore throat, gargle saltwater. Start with hot water so you can dissolve more table salt into it, then let it cool. Salt kills everything. Also, it doesn't taste as bad as you might think, it's about like tears, so imagine the people you owned in this vid with the OP shotgun. That's what their tears taste like.
That's the only old remedy that I tried that I've found works. It can also work for rinsing sinuses, though I wouldn't recommend tap-water for that, maybe purified bottled water. I had nose surgery to clear out some excess flesh and I had to do a LOT of rinsing to get out very gross stuff, but it can help with sinus infections and cold-flu type infections. Provided there's some room for it to flow from one nostril into the other, if you're stopped up like concrete in the sinuses, might not help much at first....can still loosen or moisturize and get things flowing sometimes.
That's just superficial symptom remedy though, there's a lot more to viral infections than the surfaces you can reach with salt-water....but it can help manage symptoms and at least temporarily restore normal fluid(saliva & mucus) function and get some relief.

I always keep some EmergenC+ (the one with extra Zinc)
I don't think it would do much in the middle of a peak infection.
But it is really good at prevention if you take it after going to a high risk area (i.e. take it after a convention) or at the very beginning of the onset of symptoms.
It boosts the immune system significantly for a short time, but don't take it for more than 3 days in a row or you'll get vitamin OD (you'll know when you get diarrhea to expel excess vitamins).
Otherwise; painkillers, anti-inflammatories, nasal drops.
NyQuil Severe and Oxymetazoline HCl (Nasal Spray) usually brings me back from the brink of feeling like death.
Its not a cure, but it will help with symptoms until you start producing antibodies.

For colds, lemsip powder hot drinks work for me every time. works better when u first start feeling effects of cold and take it sort of pre-emptily, then its usually gone in 24hrs.
this year has been crazy for games, I usually buy like 3-4 games a year just based on interest and budget but this year I have gotten probably double if not tripel that.

Its mostly treat the symptoms, honey will help your throat if your coughing and have sore throat, ginger is good for inflamation, pepermint is good for fevers and your stomach, cyan pepper and honey together if your congested. There is alot more but really its all about treating the individual symptoms and you will quickly feel better

here's a recipe from my grandmother its quite simple it will soften your throat mix honey with fresh ground black pepper mix it up good for like a minute and eat it occasionally throughout the day
plus if you cough too much or too hard try mixing molasses with red and black pepper infused butter do a couple of shots after each meal youll get better in two days max

Adequate sleep and plenty of water, getting off the screen for a while tends to help too. If fever is high, get a cold damp towel and wipe yourself with it, especially the armpits, the neck. Check for sweat, always wipe it off.
How do I know? Im on a flu rn and im feeling a lot better. My meds are Neozep Forte, Solmux, and Exel, idk if these are available there tho.

My go-to during sickness is boiling water with honey, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper powder. Soothing and invigorating! Can put in a dash of whiskey too
As for other bangers that released this year, don't forget about RE4 Remake (probably my personal game of the year), Dead Space remake, and the Metroid Prime remake. Those three games are just as good as anything new that came out this year, if not perhaps even better than a number of them. There was also Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, which are two of the "Big Three" fighting game franchises, so that's fantastic for that genre.
2023 has actually been a pretty nutty year for gaming, which kind of surprised me after how crappy the first half of the year was.

When I'm sick I make tea with lemon, honey, and a little bourbon or whiskey. Then bundle up and sweat it out. Hope you're feeling well soon. I been using double green tea withe fresh squeezed lemon. Also been using echinacea with wildflower honey. The later really helps the throat. Slippery elm bark tea is good as well. Its called "throat coat" on the US. Vitamin C is the big thing make surs your vit c is natural and high.
