I don't know about witches tale, but a nice mint tea is always good for the throat and vitamin-c + good rest will get you through a cold no problem. Used to get sick all the time staying up for mid-terms emergen-c or a bunch of oranges and rest would get me through it fairly quick.

@@michaelwesten4624 The shotgun in this game is definitely unbalanced, since you only need to aim at the thigh and kill the guy, while with a normal weapon you have to fire accurately and track the target, incomparable. Ah, and this easy content, the guy really won the lottery that he can make such content and people will still watch it in 2023

Well it won't fix your cold/flu instantly but hot ginger tea with honey always helps me when I'm sick. Ginger is also a natural anti-inflammatory which can help with some symptoms you might be having. Hope you feel well soon Jack!

I just recently learned how you can actually fill your shoutgun ammo with molten candle wax so the shrapnel "fuses" together in the wax. The shot doesn't spread as usual, but it all goes as a pack, eliminating the spread and focusing all the force in one point. It makes a difference between grating a bit of a cinder block off, or destroying the cinder block entirely. This shotgun you are using here reminds me of that xD

MCS went from one of the worst to one of the best, I never noticed people getting one shots with it before the update
I got one shot by ai with it every once in a blue moon before the update and honestly they were the only things I came across with it equipped I think I only ever got killed once by an enemy player with it before lol

close range can definitely 1 hit kill but yeah, nowadays it is quite buff'd lol

Model 10-A Hunter for me in BF1, 19k kills when I stopped playing. I have a few vids on my channel harrasing Twitch streamers with it heh. The sound bug when the game came out where when you died from the shotgun and every pellet that hit you made a sound, very annoying lol. Good times.
Always loved running around Caspian border on bf3 with 870 mc slug and acog :)
Bf4 saiga12 with frag rounds were too fun to use on locker, felt like using an autocannon on hardcore

@@ExTremZeroIssues as in? Operators are still a thing but the class system doesn't make it a big worry anymore. If anything the only "issues" are the physics engine that makes air vehicles super floaty and the recoil system being wonky as all fuck sometimes.
Otherwise we need more maps and more guns but that's content drought/lack of sheer content.
Still better than most shooters out right now...

For colds I would actually recommend trying out a Hot Toddy, They actually help out really well for colds/flu.
Also it's nice to see the shotguns behave like old battlefield shottys, like the 870 from bf4. That thing was a beast and it had some nice 1-shot range.

By far my favorite game of the year was buldur's gate 3. So well polished so many options and different ways to play on top of the best voice acting and story arcs I've ever had in gaming 10/10
Also a surprisingly good ps5 version. I feard the controls would be very clunky on controller but I very quickly got used to it.

@@CrusinaIt actually is well polished. So was armored core 6 and elden ring. Compare it to any other top released game in the past 2 or 3 years. Go ahead. It has some cut content but if you've been a game developer ever in life you'd know every game on earth will always release with cut content. The only time it's super rare is the indie space but that's because those are barebones in the first place.
There's not many games that have released the past few years that actually released in amazing states.

I had it once, and I found that, while it won’t help you get better, you can gauge your recovery by eating or drinking strong tasting things. I drank a root beer every day until I could taste it, it kind of helped. I hope you feel better soon.
I wish EA and Dice keep improving and creating content for BF2024... Due to the bad release it has a bad press but damn, this game is seriously so good now... And not event at half its potential ! Portal could become a never-dying masterpiece of creativity for a decade or more if the producers keep supporting this game. Because Portal won't be full of creativity untill the classic modes are not already saturated with joy and full servers.

Yes I'm playing everyday and I never have server problems. There are not many people, but there are plenty enough to play without bots. I had less than 10 games with bots total since I begun to play 2 years ago
Yo Jack, I recently made some home made bone broth, that´s also something they drink in the Star Wars Universe but it´s an actual thing. This is full of good vitamins and boosts your imune system and gives you strength. My mum was sick like 4 days ago, she drank it and felt better the next day. Get well soon!

I remember running a USAS-12 with slugs and an Acog back in BF3 and it was a one shot kill pretty far out too lol im gonna have to try this shotgun, it seems fun
The shotgun feels good right now - it's powerful, as it should be, but you still gut stuff like at 0:58 where you hit that guy twice and didn't kill him (becausethe pellet spread is more consistent but not TOO consistent) and since it's pump action a squad or group can evaporate you while you're pumping after your first kill. I love it.
a shotgun shouldnt 1 hit 15m+, thats SMG range.
Eh, shotguns always were hard to balance, and in comparison to the other weapons in 2042, it needs to be somewhat stronger. ARs are mostly lasers that can kill even above 100m range. SMGs also have a far higher effective range than 15m in this game, I would say most smgs can still kill reliably fast on 40-50 meters. Give a shotgun >15m effective range and the balance just doesnt work. @@ExTremZero

He half-missed that second shot. IMHO they should nerf the range of the shotgun by increasing dispersion a tiny bit, and make pump-time longer, then it's perfect 👍

this year has been crazy for games, I usually buy like 3-4 games a year just based on interest and budget but this year I have gotten probably double if not tripel that.
I find the Vicks Vapo Shower, Dissolvable Shower Tablets for Cold Relief, Soothing and Non-Medicated really help me along with high dosibg Vitamin C. Hope you feel better soon mate! Excellent video... helluva kill streak there at the end!

@@jamiecurnock2910Have you played any other FPS games asides from COD? Because that one shot kill range isn’t OP, or silly, it’s realistic. Shotguns are lethal with buckshot up to about thirty to forty odd metres, and that range easily triples when loaded with slugs. If you still think it’s silly, never play 4, you’ll be complaining about the pump action shotguns all day long.
@@decimation9780 yeah I've been playing bf since bad company 1, cod isn't really my thing tbh, also I loved BF4.
Of course it's realistic but that's not applicable here because battlefield isn't about 'realism' if it was then every sniper rifle would kill you on that first bullet. This is about gameplay and gun balance, in my opinion this is balanced slightly to much one way, that's all, no need to have a freak out about it.
@@jamiecurnock2910 Wow, if you think that’s what is called a freak out, I’d hate to see what you consider an absolute meltdown. The MCS-880 is in a good state, it’s nowhere close to OP when looking at shotguns, it’s just in line for what a pump action shotgun should be and do.
Its about time the 880 got a buff...its been a horrible shotgun to use for me, often times being a 3 hit kill...it might be broken, but i feel like it needs to be to compete with the NVK and 12M
true it was the worst shotgun out of the bunch but it just seems a bit too good now
I’m also glad the MCS-880 got a buff. I managed to tier 1 one it before the update after weeks of only using it and I’m glad I did. I was sweating with the 880 before it was even popular.

@@parkaller7959 i like the gun and always have considering its one of the few weapons with a heavy suppressor, but it was so much of a struggle that i just had to put it down. Meme or not, i love the 12M, and not that i think its a badge of honor or anything, but ive never ADS'd with the 12M...600 kills so far, every one hip fire 🤘
I never understood why pll complains about shotguns one shot killing bruh that the whole point of a shotgun is not a marksmanrifle not intende for medium long range. Its okay if u get ine shooted from few meters
Cistus-Echinacea (infect stop in Switzerland), Zinc and Elderberry, and Vit D are my go-to for immune response. You can usually concoct a tea/lozenge combo with said elements, adding honey and ginger. Feel better, mate. I'm in the same boat. Advil cold/sinus for the congestion.

Not sure if they’re the same in the UK but mucinex+delsym+sudafed is an absolute cold/flu killler.
Gotta get the behind the counter Sudafed, the one with pseudoephedrine. That stuff is awesome for colds
@@steviejoe66 Sudafed with pseudoephedrine was banned by the FDA 10 years ago. If you can still get it somewhere it would be brilliant. Not in Asia, though. It's all phenylephrine.

When the map released I tried the MCS but I didn't see they buffed it. Well I figured it out really quickly ! Got like 70+ kills almost every matches with it. Really fun to use and I hope they won't nerf it :( This gun was so bad before
I don’t mind the shotguns but you can tell for some players it’s the only type of gun they can use to be somewhat effective in a match. They just hopefully get close to someone and just spam the shooting button and hope to hit something.

Jack, one thing I have used before, helped me with 2 tbsp honey, 1 small garlic clove, and a 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Honey coats, cayenne opens up vessels, garlic is an antioxidant. Helped me quite well

For colds, lemsip powder hot drinks work for me every time. works better when u first start feeling effects of cold and take it sort of pre-emptily, then its usually gone in 24hrs.
My girlfriend taught me how to make a syrup that is super effective against flu and also helps with the coughing. She is from Poland and it's apparently used for various things there.
You basically just chop a single white onion and a single clove of garlic into cubes and put it into a jar. You then cover it with 5 big tablespoons of sugar, cover it (plastic wrap or screw on the lid), put it to the fridge and wait until the next day. When you take it out, it will have made a thin syrup that you can scoop up with a spoon and drink. You're not supposed to take more than a couple of spoons a day as it can supposedly be a little tough on the liver. It tastes funky, but I can vouch. It works.

Ofcourse i wouldnt know from normal gameplay, shotguns and slow firing weapons in close range are my weakness lol

when you boil the water for your tee put a bunch of ginger root slices in it and let it simmer for a couple of minutes. also if you have access to a non-poblic sauna - that did wonders for me but you can't make it too hot and you need a lot of steam.

I took a zinc supplement everyday when i was sick with it and it helped. Also just made sure to eat heavier stuff, sandwiches and such.

got sick of being on the receiving end of the MCS so I started doing it my self. I expect a revert on the buff any time now.
An old school remedy is to take an onion, chop it up into decent sized strips or chunks. Put them in a mason jar and fill the jar with honey. Leave it to sit on the counter at room temperature for a day so it can start to ferment and then just take a spoonful of the syrup every few hours until symptoms subside. Its old school but it works

As for other bangers that released this year, don't forget about RE4 Remake (probably my personal game of the year), Dead Space remake, and the Metroid Prime remake. Those three games are just as good as anything new that came out this year, if not perhaps even better than a number of them. There was also Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1, which are two of the "Big Three" fighting game franchises, so that's fantastic for that genre.
2023 has actually been a pretty nutty year for gaming, which kind of surprised me after how crappy the first half of the year was.
Jack usually what i have when i have a cold is a lemon & ginger tea with honey its good and ginger is a commom aditive to eat like chicken soup and with tea because of the benefits on fighting against a cold/fever..

I’m super late to this but some one of the best things you can do when you’re sick is called “elderberry syrup”, and don’t get the stuff off the shelf. You’ve got to make it yourself which isn’t very hard. It’s only a few ingredients but it works wonders and coats your throat for a bit after taking it too. My wife is a modern day medics woman at this point so I’d be happy to share how you make it if anyone is interested.
Order some Day and NyQuill from America or smth. Worth it. American friend brought it over to Wales for me and it's a treat, doesn't heal you instantly (nothing does) but it makes the ride through much more comfortable.
Hey Jack! Sorry to hear that you are sick again. Feel better my friend. The thing that I swear to when I'm sick with a cold is rest, hydration, vitamin C, broth, tea with lemon and most important Mucinex. I sweat by that stuff. It really knocks it out and give you a chance to rest comfortably.

I been using double green tea withe fresh squeezed lemon. Also been using echinacea with wildflower honey. The later really helps the throat. Slippery elm bark tea is good as well. Its called "throat coat" on the US. Vitamin C is the big thing make surs your vit c is natural and high.

I've been watching since just before your jaw surgery, I think, and I've always appreciated how calm and collected you are in high adrenaline games. Grandma's Texas recipie for flu/cold was 2 oz Kentucky Bourbon, hot dark tea, 2 teaspoons of honey, and a squirt of lemon juice in a large mug. She swore by it, but it also may have been because she had 7 kids and just needed a drink🤣
