I was looking for the one shown at the .22 - 24 second mark under the mans blue plaid shirt , but It doesn't look like any 1 of those 4. Am I mistaken ?
I've been using belly bands for many years. I recently took a ComfortTac bellyband and with a little modification, I secured a Kydex IWb holster in the pistol pocket of the bellyband. It worked out great. Now I have a Kydex holster that doesn't want to pull down my pants. It tends to print a little bit more, but it works so well that I'll live with it.
I was thinking about the possibility of inserting my Kydex IWB holster in the pistol pocket too! You said "a little modification", I'm wondering what you had to modify and how difficult it was to do. TIA
I have tried 7 ankle holsters. This is the only one that works/fits. I am going to buy a belly band. I like the versatility and comfort. Quality merchandise. I am sick of having a footlocker full of :The Best", which loose their luster quick. Great job. Thank you- God bless.
The Bravo Belt is what I use. I have some shoulder issues so I can move the belt to my left side and create a comfortable cross draw position. I am not fat but I do have a 36 to 38" waist . I wear loose fitting clothes because that is what I find most comfortable. You simply cannot tell that I'm carrying. Bravo to the Bravo Belt !
I bought OWB holsters for my CZ 75 PCR and Bersa Thunder Plus. They printed even with a suit jacket and didn't feel secure. I bought the Comfort Tac belly band and can comfortably carry the CZ 75, Bersa, and Ruger LCP Max even in summer clothing.
I wear my Fullmosa belly band every day , holds 2 pistols and 4 mags (if desired) and it's been a couple of years with no complaints, especially with my big waist (they offer multiple sizes)
Other than the Tactica with the RIGID trigger protection, these are unsafe options. Plenty of accounts where triggers were engaged while firearms were seated in these types of bands. Buyers/users beware.
@@sassylady2001 then you're better off learning from people who aren't beholden to sponsorship marketing. Thank you for this video! I've been looking at several different belly band holsters, and this video helped me make the final decision on which one to buy.
I use a Comfort Tac with a Cross Breed modular holster. The Velcro back on the holster holds firm to the belly band. The tail of the belly band goes around the holster to secure it even more. Cross Breed makes a belly band for it but I felt my gut was to big for its length. The Comfort Tac was much longer
Can't find any belly bands that work with lights. Im out on the dark quite often, specially during winter season. I need one that works with my dagger with a stream light, so I think Im stuck with getting one custom made
I’m a little confused, during the TACTICA belly band segment you also demonstrated a different non-belly band holster, one that attached to the waist of your pants or belt.
Bravo to Bravo Belt...quality at a discount price point...all that is needed for comdortable concealed carry...fir those that have common sense and training. Everyone else, get trained and get confident
I listened to a lady who had the VNSH holster. It didn't give her the cant she wanted so she removed stitching on one side of the holster. Then it worked for her.
@@sassylady2001 ** the VNSH belt to me is the most comfortable belt ( holster) I own. It allows me to carry my pistol completely concealed wearing clothing that my other belts/ holster won't allow. There is room for improvement but, I don't think the design will allow for them **
I hope your Tactica lasts longer than mine. I sent my Tactica back after 3 days because the stitching was coming out. The side and back of the belt was one layer of neoprene - no support or other layers - the neoprene was stretching out with each wearing. Great concept but poorly made.
@@deniseainsworth3295 I hope it works out for you. I really wanted it to work as I had tried 3 other bands and returned them. Since I wrote this last comment, I had purchased some replacement neoprene and a flat web belt that I was going to use to modify the Tactica but when I saw they increased price on Amazon, I decided to buy something else. They raised their price on Amazon from $64.99 to $79.99 PLUS $10 shipping since July 2023 but kept the price at $92 on Tactica's website. Too rich for my blood.🤑
I want all my money back from purchasing the “best” holsters. I do in fact have a belly band holster that I slide up under my arm. Works perfectly when I use it. Pew pew pew.
I had a Tactica and it wore well with blouses - it did not print or show at all. Of course, I wore a blouse on the looser side, not tucked in and not a knit shirt. I've had people shocked I had it on. When I showed them - they exclaimed they had no idea I was wearing.
At 0:02 it is the Tactica Defense and at 0:06 it switches to a different belt - I don't know what that one is. Be aware that Alien Gear makes a bellyband/holster identical to the Tactice Defense beltl/holster. I bought the Tactica but returned it after 3 days as the stitching was coming apart.

No one can pick out a holster or belly band for you. Only you can and only you should do that. I can give you a little bit of guidance, but you have to do the rest. You will need something that hard covers the trigger, especially with your toddler. Little toes and fingers can easily get into the trigger area if you don't have a hard shell cover over the trigger area. Buy something that you can return if it doesn't work for you.
In the time it takes to raise your shirt, unsnap the retention strap and draw, you're already in trouble. And if your a fool who doesn't carry a round in the chamber your dead. Should all have thumb breaks.
I will not carry with a retention strap - I prefer to set the holsters retention to suit me. I always carry with a round in the chamber and safety off. I've been carrying that way 30 years and never had an accident or even near accident. I treat my guns like a tool - not something to fiddle or play with. It is a tool to get a job done, nothing more, nothing less.
Belly band holsters are great, if you actually do not have a real belly , the flatter the abs the better , but under a true beer belly they are useless !
Picture a real life fast and brutal attack on your body, Total surprise, so you are not going to reholster nor are you gonna reload. no frills bellyband or pocket carry.

Are these better than the crossbreed modular? Those have actual kydex holsters which is way safer right?

You mentioned the Comfotttac can be used for shoulder option. Would like to have seen that demonstrated.
Please do not consider buying any holster for your firearm unless it is covers the entire trigger and is rigid (hard and not bendable) in that area.

So Tactia ?
The “Under the spare tire” concealed carry was so rad😂..
My question is, why didn't the VNSH get on this list? Or is the VNSH a newer product?
