    I have no children but it's kind of entertaining to watch her wriggling around. She seems pretty content with what's going on, I wouldn't have expected that. I thought she'd be yelling her head off.

    It’s interesting to watch how delicate it is working with infants. I can also appreciate how you’re talking/explaining to the mother what you’re doing and why. You can see the trust bond between the mother and chiropractor. Mom looks at ease with baby being flipped over and being moved one way or the other. Excellent 👏

    My son was born with a broken clavicle back in 2002. He's almost 21 years old now... But he still has a little bump where his clavicle was broken. I didn't realize that birthing injury was so common!

    As I understand chiropractic, people work themselves out of adjustment/midline with activity. Babies aren’t capable of that. More to the point, babies don’t hard bone, they have stiff cartilage which will eventually become bone. Being soft, I don’t understand how to adjust a baby

    • @washparkchiro
      @washparkchiro  3 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      There are so many reasons people need adjustments (not just with activity). With babies it can start with birth which can be very stressful and traumatic on baby. Even in 'easy births'. These are not 'adjustments' the way many people think of cracking joints or bones. With babies adjustments are much more gentle and specific.

      The birthing process is traumatic. No matter the delivery. You try squeezing through a hole that you are twice the size of. I’m sure you’re spine will feel great after !

      @FernandoChaves 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lekiahaynes Yeah? Wow. We'll have to try that in the trauma bay. Might need some morphine to get past the pain, but OK. ;)

    People are so uneducated, everyone, especially babies should have their spine and bodies checked by a chiropractor atleast once in their life 100% throughout someones like your body gets roughed up and unaligned and it can cause a lot of problems. Babies are literally squished inside a stomach for development they kinda need their joints to be working properly

      @@M.Đ-z4uI’ve seen a lot of stories of babies getting helped by chiros when there’s a problem. They have a nervous system and benefit from clearing interference. So to say that they can’t be helped I think is disingenuous. However, I’m not too sure that it’s absolutely necessary for all babies to get checked unless there is a distinct problem that a MD can’t help with.

      I saw a four day old adjustment just now. It was so cool. They can get hurt doing birth cause they have to come out a small hole sometimes in an awkward position which can mess up their spine which can lead to other issues.
