It’s interesting to watch how delicate it is working with infants. I can also appreciate how you’re talking/explaining to the mother what you’re doing and why. You can see the trust bond between the mother and chiropractor. Mom looks at ease with baby being flipped over and being moved one way or the other. Excellent 👏

I so agree this is not needed. I would not allow a chiropractor anywhere near my baby. I saw a video years ago of a chiropractor who did something wrong with a baby and it was paralized and could only drag itself across the floor. Who is to say these ppl know what they are doing

They were just neglected before because there wasn't the education we have now. Same goes with mental health. Science advanced... this has always been a thing. Look at all the Oblong seniors who didn't get any care.. my grandma had clubbed feet that weren't corrected properly, the reality is we learned more and take better action rather than children have more "issues"

Babies don’t need this
Some infants are born with a slight misalignment in their vertebra, and chiropractic care comes in handy for a quick fix for proper growth. Many infants get adjusted right after birth, while others get adjusted a few weeks later. Get informed!

This baby didn't, others do. Either way, the parent(s) often does. She's a new mom and wanted to be safe + get some helpful, individual advice, which most pediatricians and midwives never mention and also don't know specifically! My dad has scoliosis and uneven legs which have caused a never-ending series of side effects over the last 55 years and he (+ my grandma) only just found how crucial the first months are and how many little things they actually could have done in the early stage, if any medical expert had known or cared.
My baby did, immediately relieved her non stop screaming due to her pain. Why would we want our tiny babies to be in pain because ithe practice is not normal or done to every baby? So, no not every baby needs it, but some truly do. The world is moving forward, jump on the train!

Just stop. Chiropractic is a dangerous form of quackery which should not be practiced on anyone, let alone babies. Hopefully the practice gets banned across the globe.
I have no children but it's kind of entertaining to watch her wriggling around. She seems pretty content with what's going on, I wouldn't have expected that. I thought she'd be yelling her head off.
No judgment but isn't the standard recommendation two months before newborns leave the house due to their immune systems? You want to wait until first round of vaccinations to avoid RSV or whooping cough, never mind cold/flu. Has the recommendation changed?

I have my first appointment tomorrow with a chiropractor and I'm SO nervous! I don't like people poking and prodding on my stomach, or cracking things in general but especially when pregnant. Any advice for this protective, worried momma?? I'm going for the sole purpose of turning my breech babe. I'll be 35w tomorrow.
Awesome, glad you are going! It'll be so good for you and baby! Just be really honest and open with your provider on what you are wanting and if they are a good fit for you, they'll understand and walk you through everything.

Do you even know what she is doing or assuming that adult chiropractor and pediatric chiropractor are the same? Did you do her schooling, get her license? Do you know anything about what you are asking about before you typed this question out? Do you know anything about this field or could she school you in 3.5 mins flat? Remain in your scope of practice.
