I made this last night and it was sooooo delicious! I really liked adding the pickled jalapenoes. I love that I could use my local farm tomatoes for the sauce. Thanks!

I enjoy watching Patti prepare meals. I think I enjoy listening to her more! I'm preparing a simple rice-veggie-vegan dish for this November holiday.

Aahh, mil gracias! As a young bachelor, I'm always trying to create staples food for myself. My parents are also from Puebla but for some reason my Mexican rice never comes out good like my mom's haha. Will try with this. Thank you, Pati.

Hola Pati, I can't wait to try this recipe! I love (Spanish Rice) as we say it here in Northern New Mexico. But I will try adding red chile powder to the mix as this is one of our staple foods from this area! So many of us here grow our own Green Chile. (Not Hatch) yuk! I still grow what we call (chile nativo) by using the old heirloom seeds the so many have preserved! All the (native American pueblo people) grow the nativo chile as well!
Anyway I'm a big fan of your Pati and I watch your show as much as I can! Thank you for sharing your wonderful talents!
    Dios los Bendiga! 🙏☺

I’m SO glad to KNOW that, because I don’t feel like a failure!!! So now doing yours! Wish me luck! Thank you so so much Patti YOU ARE THE BERY BESTEST!!! Lol love you sweet lady HAPPY THANKSGIVING AND BLESSINGS OF LOVE 🙏🏻❤️

This is by far nothing Spanish about this rice . Puerto Rican rice is truly Spanish tasting! And one thing that should always be done is rinsing the rice ! Mexican rice is bland and tasteless. I'm sorry, but it is the truth.
