Yes you need to keep the connecting rod pushed forward so the pellet probe in in the correct position when closed, you then need to adjust the cocking lever with the 2 allen bolts to get the alignment and cocking right.

HELP PLEASE: I have the basic FX Wildcat that I had not fired for a long time so got it out for a plink. Little did I know that it was so low on air (should have checked) I fired a shot and with it being quiet anyway, thought I missed target, so fired another.... So I now have a could of jammed pellets in the barrel. I tried forcing them back up to the loading area with magazine removed, but no joy as fibre glass rod I was using was not strong enough to push them. Any ideas without me having to take barrel off as do not want to damage it completely. Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you very soon. Rich (waddac2)

You can use barrel cleaning rod to push out the pellet..i have done it few times and it worked flawlessly

@@jollyrancher400 Thanks for your reply buddy but a bit late as sold the Wildcat very cheap months ago due to the above issue. A friend also tried your option but with two or three pellets stuck, they would not move at all with cleaning rods. Thanks again though 👍

@@waddac2 if more than one pellet jammed then you may require pellet extraction..use the same cleaning rod and use screw pointed end..slowly slide the rod until it reach the pellet head..push the rod as you twist is clock wise to drill onto the pellet..once the screw embedded on the pellet you can slowly pull out the rod..repeat same process until all pellet are cleared

Mk1 Fx Wildcat .25 cal. How to tune the brass inlet? Mine stops the mag from getting to place

Hi, I,ve just done the index arm mod which is now much improved, however since doing it the rifle wont cock. Do either of the 2 allen pins in the index mechanism affect cocking in any way after being removed/replaced? Any pointers would be much appreciated.
    Thanks Marilyn.

I just got a new MK2 and the magazine sticks and is very hard to remove and insert... it seems like the brass receiver isn’t flush and the mag catches on it. Cool video, thanks! Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you need to move the barrel forward slightly so the brass collar is flush with the action.
Remove the plastic cheek piece, loosen the small grub screw and gently move the barrel forward making sure the TP hole is aligned.

    Hi
How do I increase the power this gun?]
    Thanks

naser7611 turn the hammer spring tensioner clockwise, I suggest you use a chronograph to know exactly how fast your rifle is shooting after doing any adjustments on power

Hello friend ... I would like to ask for help! I have a mk1 wildcat a few days ago and I feel like it's a bit hard to arm and the hammer spring is making a strange noise, what can this be? I also feel that her speed is low and the pressure regulating screw is tightened to the limit.
If you can help me, I'll be very grateful. I'm from Brazil and here you have no video in Portuguese explaining anything about the carbine. if you can give me the contact of WhatsApp to send you the video that I did here to help me I'm waiting for the answer. greetings from Brazil.
