Even though you don’t have all the exact measurements for you recipes from time to time, I really appreciate seeing how much you put in so I can make approximates! Thanks, I love your videos!
Thanks for sharing your recipe ideas. I like to keep chocolate chip cookie dough balls in the freezer, the taste is better than freshly mixed. When I want a cookie, I just pull out 1 or 2 and bake in my toaster oven, at 325° F for 12-14 minutes. I really appreciate the apple crisp recipe since I've been craving it now that it is apple season. You look great, Lynette.
I do the same thing with cookie hall's. Got about 100 oatmeal/cranberry cookie balls right now and getting ready to make and freeze Pecan Sandies. Getting ready for a party next month.
I use to use the same kind of mop that you have. But as I got into more pain with my nerve disease. I switched to a Shark Steam Mop. It was a game changer! Yes it cost about 200.00 or more. But it cleans my wood floors like a dream and disaffect them at the same time. This is something maybe that is worth looking into.
The Italian dressing mix makes a great pasta sauce. Combine with tomato sauce and tomato paste. Cook on low for a couple hours. Freeze it. Then when ready to use thaw and add your meats and veggies. Heat it up. You can precook your meats and veggies and freeze too. Let me know if you do it in your blog.
I like my apples diced small too. When I open the can, I stick a sharp knife down in the middle of the apples and start slicing. That way I still get the small ones with the ease of using the canned ones.
Recently found your channel and I’m enjoying everything I have watched. I appreciate recipes I can actually make and are affordable, thank you. I look forward to watching more. 🙂
Love watching you cook, your good is simple but very wholesome, we can all follow what you say. That Apple Crisp or crumble as we call it in NZ looks delicious, I'm going to make it for my hubby. Bless your family, Diana.
When you cook pork like that, try apple juice for your liquid and a dash or two of liquid hickory smoke..Makes a huge difference in flavor. Love apple crisp. Such a great desert. I use my home canned apple pie filling where the apples are chunked and not sliced. In fact I use it more for apple crisp than I do for pies!! I think I will be trying the Taco soup. Looked so good....
I love this video- I think it’s awesome that you make a video and share it allll with us! I love how “real” you are. You’re not like, “Oh gotta make this only a cooking themed video!” I feel like you don’t sweat the small stuff. ;)
I have a baker and I also like to cheat on my cookies and stuff. You might do this but something that I do is I make the dough ahead quite a bit roll it up in Saran Wrap put it in the freezer and you just slice pieces off when you need to cook it
Boy! I love your sons bedding!! That sure would have been easier! Thirty years ago. Trying to make my boys bunk beds when I was Very Pregnant with our daughter was quite the trick. Thanks for letting me share in your families journey. You are truly a blessing
I love your videos. I make something similar to your taco soup. Instead of diced tomatoes and tomato sauce, I use two cans of rotelle and a jar of salsa. When it's almost done I add a package of lipton/knorr spanish rice. I also like mine with tortilla chips. Thank you for sharing.
The pork roast BBQ looked so good. We love Sweet Baby Rays. That vegetable pizza is one way to get your veggies in. It looks good. Yes do more food videos. The Apple Crisp looked so yummy. I love peaches too and the crumb topping would be really good on the peaches.
Oh, yum! My pregnant self is craving veggie pizza now! I use cream cheese and also love adding green or red peppers and radishes to mine😋 And chocolate chip cookies, apple crisp and taco soup! Can you tell I'm hungry, lol😂
My family likes the pizza with cream cheese and we also add black olives. Have you ever made a fruit pizza? The crust is made the same way and I use both cream cheese and sour cream then add what fruit you like: grapes, kiwi, pineapple, bananas, and we also add cherries. Please keep sharing these wonderful recipes.
All the recipes looked very yummy. Have you ever made the Pioneer Woman's 7 Can Soup? Seriously easy- dump cans in a pot and let it heat up. You can add the cheese, we like it that way, but it is simple and yummy. I'm of the same mindset as Nic, I don't care for corn.
I remember veggie pizza oh it is so good! The taco soup looked delicious too! Decades ago when my father moved us out west he got hungry for a steak sandwich and went to a diner out west to have one. They literally put a slab of steak on a roll for him, ha ha ha! This was LOONG before regional foods were readily available. Everything looks fabulous thanks for sharing your ideas!
Loved this video Lyn! Everything looks delish...I absolutely love bbq pork sandwiches. I'm a sucker for philly cheese steak sandwiches...yumO!! I need to clean y floors too so don't feel so quilty, I'm not pregnant, so there's no excuse for me😁. Great video🤗👍👍thanks for sharing!!
Hi Lynn I just started watching your videos again after a hiatus. I noticed you moved from Cape dresses to blouses and skirts and wanted to tell you about a website that sells layering shells to put under any blouse. It’s a Jewish run website called MODLI. They are a super soft extremely affordable comfortable fabric With a nice high neck and I think would work well for hot weather in Florida.I layer like you do and thought you might be interested and no I don’t work for modli haha
Lynette! I forgot to mention awhile ago you were saying something about you dryer not drying right! Funny but I was having the same issue! My washer would spin the clothes out all the way, so I would have to spin, and drain after done with the first cycle! My dryer I would have to run it through 2 cycles because it wouldn't dry either! I got to irrigated with it, that I purchased a matching LG brand set about 2 months ago! I love it!!! Anyways, why I'm saying all of this is because the set you have I noticed was the exact Maytag set I had all my trouble with! 😂
😄👍🏽 mine was blocked on the outside 🙈 I didn’t realize it because it’s different from the one in Ohio. So the air couldn’t really escape because it was blocked outside by the vent. 😩😆 🤦🏻♀️
this all in one style video was great. Love taco soup also, we put in fresh chopped pepper, onions, and a can of rotel or salsa, sometimes so ranch seasoning. The veggie pizza brought back memories of my mom making it so we would eat our raw veggies.
My store has pkgs of shaved beef that work really well for Philly cheesesteak. You could pick up a small roast and have the butcher shave it for you. Next time try toasting the rolls inside up (tops & bottoms) in the oven at 425 for a few minutes then add mayo and cheese to the bottom buns and toast again then add meat mixture and another slice of cheese and toast again. The beef bouillon cube is key for the right flavor...just my opinion.
I mix ketchup and brown sugar, salt and pepper.....heat in microwave or on stove and serve on philly cheese steaks. I only use cheesesteak meat and onions. Sometimes I serve on hot dog rolls if I do not have any other rolls. I live alone and it is a quick and easy meal for me to enjoy. I want to try the apple crumble with canned pie filling. It looks so good. yum! Thank you for the videos. I like hearing you talk. You have a pleasant voice. Your boy looked cute looking up the stairs. :)
Oh, glory! The veggie pizza!!! 😋 I grew up with it, too, in western PA. Love that stuff. IDK if it's specifically Amish or Mennonite, but I do have loads of extended family who live simply, so maybe that's where our gang gets it. It is really easy. Growing up we always had it at every family gathering from Memorial Day to Labor Day with veggies from our farms & gardens...someone always made sure to bring it. And now I like to take it to potlucks & parties. It travels well. Yeah! ((Pardon the excited rambling)) 😊
That rusty orange colour looks lovely on you! Thanks for the meal inspiration! I've been wanting to use our crockpot but haven't had any food ideas so this is perfect. I'm from Sweden and it is always fun to try out some other styles of cooking. American, Mennonite and Amish food is pretty different from traditional Swedish cooking but I think it is always good to widen your horizon and experience different stuff, who knows maybe you will find a new favourite!
The crockpot liners are a game changer for me because my kitche is under construction and not useable. So I have to wash the crockpot in the tub. It is not fun.
definitely do more of these type of videos!! I LOVED it!!!!! OH wow, yes, I love the chicken taco soup! I need to make that again! I did a butternut squash soup in the crockpot today that turned out quite delicious! And cold pizzas are SUPER yummy. Definitely the cream cheese is a game changer.
Hi Lynette. I am pretty new to your channel, but I love your videos. They have inspired me to clean and organize more efficiently. Could you do a video about ironing? I hate to iron and leave it piled up until I have to get out the iron. Maybe there are other ironing flunkies out there. Can't wait to see your next video.💜😀
Love your videos...I make cold slaw with my pulled pork ...we put cold slaw on top of pulled pork on roll ... delicious...thanks for all the recipes..always looking for help ...lol
Oh I throughly enjoyed this type of format for your video. I love sharing food ideas with others. Sometimes it’s just okay to take a shortcut when cooking/baking. 💜💜💜💜💜
I made taco soup Sunday with ground beef, added tomatoes , tomato sauce, beans, chopped onions, corn, broth, homemade taco mix and 1 package of ranch.cook on top of stove about 1 hour. It was so good. We had cornbread muffins with it. Love your recipe ideas 🙂
Try a pork shoulder instead of a tenderloin. Less expensive and more tender. but you will need to cook it a lot longer on low for BBQ. Try Sonny's BBQ sauce. A Florida favorite!
I love the way you cook and bake without knowing exact measurements - I cook and bake that way too! 😊 I make my taco soup a bit differently. I use four frozen chicken breasts (easier to find bigger pieces in the crock pot when you’re ready to shred them), a can of black beans and a can of dark red kidney beans, the corn, some onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, chicken broth and a can of green enchilada sauce. I don’t use the taco seasoning but add my own spices, mainly cumin. Thanks for the motivational vlogs! The last one got me up and vacuuming. This one may have me mopping and cooking! 😊
I don't know that the vegetable pizza is a Mennonite thing necessarily. I remember every Pampered Chef party I went to in the 90s having a vegetable pizza made on the pizza stone! ;) It is something that I had forgotten about that I think my family would enjoy, so thank you for the reminder of this yummy dish! I can't bring myself to make anything apple yet. It is still in the 90s here in Tennessee, and I just can't turn the oven on.
I love when you do these. Could you answer a question for me please though? How do you stay clean? You never get sauce on your dress or anything when you're cleaning or cooking.
Yes please do more of these they are so helpful and motivating!! Everything looked so yummy
❤️❤️
@@LynetteYoder I have an Amish Cookbook .I found a recipe "Underground Ham Casserole" ,it taste pretty good ,more like flavored mashed potatoes.
All I can say is you're amazing.
Even though you don’t have all the exact measurements for you recipes from time to time, I really appreciate seeing how much you put in so I can make approximates! Thanks, I love your videos!

My son turns 40 today! Yay ,party with family tonight. Baked his favorite cinnamon bread, actually Gpa bakes it. Retirement is nice!

We do veggie pizza too, but normally to bring to parties/gatherings; not to just eat at home with our immediate family. So yummy. Love seeing recipes!
All over the place is how life is lived. Loved the vlog and recipes!
I like my apples diced small too. When I open the can, I stick a sharp knife down in the middle of the apples and start slicing. That way I still get the small ones with the ease of using the canned ones.
I love veggie pizza. I haven’t made them in years. I love the half pan idea.
Recently found your channel and I’m enjoying everything I have watched. I appreciate recipes I can actually make and are affordable, thank you. I look forward to watching more. 🙂
Please keep doing these types of videos.I get so motivated from them
If you freeze your butter and shred it, it makes it easier to add to things like the crumble, or scones and such. Thanks for sharing.
@@susannovak8263 Since I learned about it I haven't done it any other way.

Everything looks delicious!!! Yum!! Thanks Lynette!
My area in the uppermidwest had a similar veggie pizza recipe. They also sold small versions at the local grocery store.
Just ordered that mop per your suggestion. I agree, I’m not getting down on the floor!
Loved all the recipes! Us busy bees need all the help and motivation we can get! Those store bought cookies thou!!😍😋
I love your baking and cooking video's!!!
I love all your cooking and baking!
I make a similar ingredient soup - I add jalapeños and add habanero cheese. I crumble “bottom of the bag” tortilla chips.
New subscriber here. Love your suggestions, recipes and decorating style!

I did actually toast the bread on the inside.. in the frying pan. but only before I put the meat on. The problem here was the meat. ☺️
