When I make my breakfast sandwiches ahead, I like to reuse the english muffin bag to put them back in. I discard the cardboard insert and put the sandwiches in bagel style. I can usually fit them all back in and it saves me a ziplock bag.
I think we all need to be more ecologically minded. We can not continue to use Single use plastics. So if we all do our bit. It will help improve our environment as well as save us money.
Clean as I go!! You never know when there is going to be interruptions, so, I clean as I go. Also, I use a Spice cake mix with my pumpkin...makes delicious pumpkin cookies or muffins. The spice mix adds the flavor of real pumpkin!
My grandma used to make that jello salad, she’d add frozen strawberries in it and they’d be perfect and help thicken the salad when it was time to eat. Now I’ll have to go to Walmart tomorrow. 😊
Our favorite version of the cottage cheese salad/desert is with 16 oz cottage cheese, at least 1/2 up to full container of cool whip, 1 pk orange jello,1 pk pineapple jello, a well drained can of crushed pineapple, 1 can mandarin oranges (lg or sm), and optional chopped walnuts. It's always a hit. I firmly believe in cleaning as you go. And I might as well chime in on the muffins, spice cake mix is the best. As always I enjoyed spending time with you.
We make the cottage cheese desert for every holiday get together. We have always made it with the strawberry jello. I put the crushed pineapple in mine and it’s so good! We call it PINK CLOUD 🤗
Lynette you are always an inspiration and your daughter is so precious. I just with I could hold her. I know - that's a no - no, but I am 70 yrs young and cannot help myself. You have been so blessed and you are so humble. Thank you for sharing your time with me. I love you dear girl.
I don't fry bacon any longer. I bake it. No more popping hot grease in my face and all over the stove. Start with a cold oven, and turn your oven to 400 degrees for 17 to 20 minutes. (check often until it is the way you like it). Plus, I make my breakfast eggs in a cupcake pan and bake them. They come out the same size as the English muffin, and doesn't mess up your stove...new tips that I have learned and tried myself. (No going back)..lol... Your baby girl is a cutie pie..!
Always clean as i go. Before i served dinner up to my kids, I'd fill the sink with soapy water and they would wash their own things when they finished. It was an absolute game changer with me working full time night shift and 3 kids. I know you didn't ask...it was just something i did to make it easier 😁
Definitely clean as I go! I hate clutter whether it's in the kitchen or any other part of the house (or garage). And the last thing I want to do after making soup, baking bread, or a whole meal is have a huge mess to clean up.
Love your recipes . Going to try some this week. Oaklyn is growing so quickly. So cute with her dolls pushing her pram. You have so much going on. You are marvelous.
I always clean as I go because my counter space is small and it makes clean up so much easier. Everything looked really good that you made. I want to make those pumpkin muffins and the English muffin sandwiches. Thanks for the idea/inspiration Lynn. 😁
Love your videos! The cottage cheese dessert you made we call "pink stuff" in my family. I'm sure it has a proper name I just don't know what it is. We always make it with either cherry, strawberry or raspberry jello-hence "pink stuff"- and we add pineapple, halved grapes, chopped walnuts, and a splash of vanilla extract. This is one dessert that easily lends itself to creativity and you can add pretty much anything to it. Very big in my family! BTW, I was blessed to hear your testimony, thank you for sharing.
Love to see people's recipes and meal prep so loved this video! I clean as I go during the day but leave the dishes at night (although I think I pretty much always clean up drips and spills as I'm cooking/preparing) and my husband (retired) is usually the one to do dishes in the morning. Enjoy Oaklynn's sleeping because seems like she might be one of those babies who doesn't need as much sleep as others. Then 2 naps a day for a short time and then only ONE!!! I had one sleeper and one who didn't need much sleep at all. It was an adjustment to realize I wasn't going to get those breaks. That's what you get for having a little girl with her mom's energy!
I love to watch your food videos, thank you for posting recipes. I also love the sections that you have in your videos of different things like you can if you don’t wanna watch when you can go to like a different section and watch something else but I really love your videos because they’re simple and we need simple right now. I hear you talk about how you don’t think you can do it right or something or maybe it’s too simple for us but it’s just perfect. Please don’t think that way. Blessings to your family.
Please keep doing cooking style videos. I've tried some of the recipes you recommended and they are delicious! My husband and kids love the foods you shared! God bless you, and thank you!👍🙏☺
When I make breakfast sandwiches I buy the patty sausage in a bag from Walmart. Also cooked my eggs in a big skillet that is square and got like six per cooking. Then wrapped mine in paper towel. Put in individual baggies, then the big bag so my husband could just grab one and go.
I clean as I go (cooking that is)...It is so much better than facing a mountain of prep things . You got a lot accomplished for your breakfast items. The sandwiches looked very good. Happy first Valentine Day to Oaklynn. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Hey Lynnete, so glad to be back after a month in Florida. My sister lives in Port Charolette and we needed to go to Shands Hospital for my brother in law's surgery. We passed Sarasota and of course I did give ya a wave. LOL. For me, I like to clean up as I go, but that definitly doesn't happen all the time. I use a big pan to wash things as I go also. Hey makes sense. Oakland, is absolutely the sweetest little angel. Thank you for sharing, and you gave me some motivation back and I think I will try those yogurt bars. God Bless
Clean as we cook. I enjoyed seeing the reflection of the muffin dough in their cups through the side of your mixing bowl. BTW, fresh pineapple will prevent the hello from setting. Use canned pineapple or cook the fresh.
I clean as I go since I do not have a dishwasher and I do not have that many mixing bowls or pans. Thanks for all the wonderful videos and inspirations.
Sat down to watch your video and saw you making those muffins and I was like i have all those ingredients on hand and we need a dessert so i got up and made muffins now I am gonna watch the rest of your video. Thanks for the motivation!! And i try to wash my dishes as I go so its not such a discouraging pile at the end.
I make that cottage cheese stuff all the time. We call it ...gobbley goop....I always add some type of fruit...chunky pineapple, tropical fruit or whatever....drained of course..my family devours it❤️❤️❤️❤️
It all looks so delicious. Oaklyn sure looks like the boys. Wish I were closer, I'd do some babysitting! My Grandma was famous for the Jello Salad using the orange jello and mandarin oranges.
We call the jello salad, Jello Fluff. We put the cottage cheese and jello in the blender or food processor till smooth, then stir in the topping and fruit. Lime with crushed pineapple and chopped nuts is yummy!!
My daughter has three sons 10; 8 & 4. Last April they added our sweet grand daughter. We love them all but oh how I am enjoying dressing her! I had bought so many khakis and polos. Now girlie things are more exciting. I clean as I go and my dishwasher is always emptied before I start.
I clean as I go, but just dishes. I keep a sink with very hot soapy water full while I'm baking. Then as I use a dish, I place in the hot water and soak. When I'm done and my bread is rising, I clean the dishes and put away, or start another bread.
WOW Lynette, that's great that you do meal prep. I'm sure it helps a lot. Your baby girl is so darling. I can't believe how alert she is and always gives big smiles. God Bless.
Hi Lynette , it's so great to see you with your little girl. She is beautiful. You will have a best friend for life. My daughter is my best friend and we do so much together with my grand children. Your videos are the best. Prayers and blessings for you and your family
This recipe has been done in my family for more than 60 years. In the family cookbook it was called my sister maybelle's salad. It was orange Jell-O with mandarin oranges. I don't care what flavor it is I love it! :-)
Look into getting a Instant Pot. There are so many recipes out there and groups on FB with good info and recipes. I make egg bites in the pot they are good, quick and easy to make.😊
Clean as I go all the way! 😊 You made this such a relaxing video to watch. And motivating! Little Oaklynn is just the sweetest. I hope you guys have a great weekend!
I clean as I go... except for the dishes unless I have the time. If it's dinner and I have to get it going I will get it going, and once it's going I will clean. So many people have been doing freezer meals... I need to get on the ball. These recipes sound yummy. I HIGHLY recommend buttermilk salad. It's not breakfast, but it's yummy.😊
I clean as I go unless I'm not making a big mess and I have more to do. I love watching you because you seem calm. I was always a nervous mess when my children were newborn. Your little girl makes me smile. I do love babies.
I make the salad but use sugar free instant pistachio pudding mix, mandarin oranges and crushed pineapple with fat free cottage cheese and sugar free or fat free cool whip. Yummy.
I clean as I go or it won’t get done!. Those foods you were prepping look really good. My husband was watching with me and asked if I could start meal prepping for him lol. Thanks for the inspiration 😊
I haven't seen anyone else do this cottage cheese jello. We call it cottage cheese fluff in my family. I switch out cherry, strawberry, or orange jello. I always put canned mandarin oranges, canned pineapple tidbits, and maraschino cherries in mine. It's slightly addictive and goes really fast around my house. Love your channel, btw. I just discovered it on TH-cam.
Definitely clean as I go. I have taught my kids to do the same! Who wants to clean up a big mess after being on your feet in the kitchen! My husband is the exact opposite. He makes a mess says it makes his food taste better..haha

Hey Sis', This made my day!!! ♥️♥️♥️☺️☺️☺️ It's SO GREAT to see you back able to cook (which, other than your mid-century decorating ideas & shopping trips, is my favorite thing about your AWESOME channel 🥰🥰)!!! My favorite meal of the day is breakfast so I LOVED everything you prepped, especially the breakfast sandwiches & smoothies!!!! Those muffins & yogurt bark I have to try..... never been a fan of cottage cheese but maybe w/Cool whip& jello, I could give it a try (for dessert, yum?!!!)!!!❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊. Isabella ♥️♥️♥️❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊
Thank you for the awesome ideas and some new recipes. :-) I like the breakfast sandwich ideas and the yogurt bark! I need to try that! I should try the oatmeal baked also. Good idea for the sandwiches with using it like a bagel bag. I also reuse my zip lock bags. I try to save here and there as I can. I clean as I go as when the task is done I like to have it tidy and DONE! If the kitchen is clean it feels like the rest of the house is manageable! Blessings...............hug that sweet little girl. So so sweet!
Mmmmmm! Guess what, snowing, cloudy, yucky outside, so this morning I made your cottage cheese jello and added some pineapple tidbits, OMG! I'm in Loooovveee! I also made baked spaghetti with sausage and pepperoni and broccoli with corn and biscuits. Hubby even ate the jello, he really likes it. Thank you so much. Next will be the oatmeal bake!😉
Clean as I go... Also I've done the cupcakes/muffins. I really didn't like the chocolate (and I'm a chocolate fanatic). My favorite version is spice cake mix and can of pumpkin. It's so good. Definitely gives fall vibes, but delicious year round!
I've been making the hello for years to make it really healthy use low fat cottage cheese, sugar free hello, sugar free coolwhip and any fruit packed in its own juice. It's super delicious and almost sugar free!!!
I do dishes as I go.Easier for me, and i use canadian bacon from Walmart, fits sandwhiches nicely. Also make my scrambled eggs on a cookie sheet, then cut out enough for sandwhiches. Omlet bites good too for fast breakfast Love the ready to go breakfasts. Thank you for sharing.
I clean as I go and most definitely rinse as I go!! I hate is stuff gets dried and sticks to your dishes, utensils, measuring cups etc. Guess I'm just funny like that. Thanks for the motivation and cant wait to try out some recipes! Always love your cooking videos, you have such good recipes 🙂 Very curious what u thought of the yogurt bark! And do u need to store it in the freezer?
Awww. Young, busy mommies are so sweet!!! How did I ever get it all done, I'll never know, lol!!! Your baby is just adorable!!!🥰👍💖
When I make my breakfast sandwiches ahead, I like to reuse the english muffin bag to put them back in. I discard the cardboard insert and put the sandwiches in bagel style. I can usually fit them all back in and it saves me a ziplock bag.
Good tip. I'm going to do this.
Great Idea!

Clean as I go!! You never know when there is going to be interruptions, so, I clean as I go. Also, I use a Spice cake mix with my pumpkin...makes delicious pumpkin cookies or muffins. The spice mix adds the flavor of real pumpkin!
That sounds a lot better!!👌🏽
I use a spice cake mix also,,,,,,Yummy!!
Generally clean as I go and I'll chime in with using spice cake mix with pumpkin. It's amazing!
My grandma used to make that jello salad, she’d add frozen strawberries in it and they’d be perfect and help thicken the salad when it was time to eat. Now I’ll have to go to Walmart tomorrow. 😊
Always clean as go, less to do after and more time to relax and enjoying the blessing🙂
Our favorite version of the cottage cheese salad/desert is with 16 oz cottage cheese, at least 1/2 up to full container of cool whip, 1 pk orange jello,1 pk pineapple jello, a well drained can of crushed pineapple, 1 can mandarin oranges (lg or sm), and optional chopped walnuts. you have your act so together, this tells me you are cherished by your hubby
I always clean as i go. Makes it so much easier. We have small kitchen and not much counter/prep space so it is a must

Definitely clean as I go! I hate clutter whether it's in the kitchen or any other part of the house (or garage). And the last thing I want to do after making soup, baking bread, or a whole meal is have a huge mess to clean up.

I have an old Weight Watchers recipe where you use canned pumpkin and Devils Food cake mix, thats it! Easy, moist and good.
I love the style of your house. It’s all so clean.
Please keep doing cooking style videos. I've tried some of the recipes you recommended and they are delicious! My husband and kids love the foods you shared! God bless you, and thank you!👍🙏☺
Oaklyn is so precious! We love the cottage cheese salad! We use strawberry jello, Cool Whip, drained fruit cocktail and bananas! Yum!
You can pour your eggs into a cookie sheet and bake them then cut into squares.saves alot of fuss!!
Love your family and that beautiful baby daughter

Wow, you did so much. You're amazing!
Oaklynn's a little treasure. Love seeing little snippets of her.

Those muffins are good with just pumpkin and a spice cake mix
I clean as I go since I do not have a dishwasher and I do not have that many mixing bowls or pans. Thanks for all the wonderful videos and inspirations.
Clean as I go, you have a beautiful family ❤️
I always add pumpkin pie spice to this muffin recipe which will also make cookies or bars.
Sat down to watch your video and saw you making those muffins and I was like i have all those ingredients on hand and we need a dessert so i got up and made muffins now I am gonna watch the rest of your video. We make that jello dessert in our family! We use raspberry jello and pineapple but we add a container of sour cream (cuts the sweetness)
OMG so yummy. We love to use our reusable freezer bags as to not waste plastic!
My daughter has three sons 10; 8 & 4. Last April they added our sweet grand daughter. We love them all but oh how I am enjoying dressing her! I had bought so many khakis and polos. Now girlie things are more exciting. I clean as I go and my dishwasher is always emptied before I start.
Oh lucky you! We raised 3 sons and love them madly, but to dress a girl would be heaven. Hopefully we'll have a granddaughter.
I clean as I go, I hate untidiness and mess... Your food looks delicious! :)
I clean as I go, but just dishes. I keep a sink with very hot soapy water full while I'm baking. Then as I use a dish, I place in the hot water and soak. When I'm done and my bread is rising, I clean the dishes and put away, or start another bread.

Love your family. Just adore your home. We love hill country also. My oldest and his family are in Wimberley this weekend.
Yummy.
Congrats on your baby girl! Please do more food prep videos! They are so helpful.
I always clean as I go. Although we should eat on glass plates we mostly use paper plates now.
Definitely enjoyed this video. The cottage cheese jello dish looks yummy.
Oaklynn is changing and growing for sure.. So cute! TFS
Definitely clean as I go. I have taught my kids to do the same! Who wants to clean up a big mess after being on your feet in the kitchen! My husband is the exact opposite. He makes a mess says it makes his food taste better..haha
I make these with canned pumpkin chocolate boxed cake mix and chocolate chips
Enjoy the breakfast ideas for the smoothie and breakfast sandwiches. I would plan to do them.
Always clean as I go!

Congratulations on the new baby!
Muffins look great 👌
Thank you for the awesome ideas and some new recipes. :-)
I like the breakfast sandwich ideas and the yogurt bark!
Try individual omelet baggies , kids love makin their own , mix eggs and fixings in baggie , simmer , not boil , come out so fluffy !
Oaklynn seems pretty chill, really. I'm sure she has her moments. They all do. But she seems like a happy baby. She's precious. You look great, btw.
She really is pretty chill!
Great video ... very motivating as you make it look so easy ... and you have a new little baby.
🌸❤️
Try the spice cake with the can of pumpkin, it’s really good.
Clean as I go! However, the times I DO leave it for the end it’s extra satisfying to finish it up!
Clean as I go... Also I've done the cupcakes/muffins. I really didn't like the chocolate (and I'm a chocolate fanatic). My favorite version is spice cake mix and can of pumpkin. It's so good. Definitely gives fall vibes, but delicious year round!
Hi Lynette! This cottage cheese salad is the one I make. Not a fan of it plain...orange with mandarins, my favorite! Clean as I go!
I've been making the hello for years to make it really healthy use low fat cottage cheese, sugar free hello, sugar free coolwhip and any fruit packed in its own juice. It's super delicious and almost sugar free!!!
Hi, Lynn I always like your videos.Have a great day.
Next time you make the muffins try it with the spice cake mix it’s really good

TFS your prep. Love to you all. 💕Greetings from Australia ☀️☀️
I just ordered the cookbook and another one Hopes Table. Can't wait to make some of the recipes.
I clean as I go. That’s how my mom taught me because we didn’t have a dishwasher growing up and even if we did I wouldn’t let my dishes pile up.
Your baby girl is so sweet!
