    I think the real reason for the return is : creating a video titled: why I returned my Samsung Book 3 Pro 360!

    For me personally, the best detachable in the market for illustrators and photographers was the HP Zbook X2 G4. 100% Adobe RGB and the keyboard could still be used when detached from the display... Unfortunately, I was too late. So now I have the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 because of the wide gamut. For shortcuts in tablet mode, I use a Rapoo E2710 small wireless keyboard.

    I know they’re trying to upsell to the Ultra, but 32 gb would make this the perfect laptop for so many people who need more memory without tanking battery life with a more powerful cpu and dedicated gpu

    High Performance Mode needs to be turned on (its off by defualt on the Book3 Pro 360) - Go to Samsung Settings app - Battery and Performace - High Performance Mode

      At expense of battery life, which is already not great. 🤔

    I find it strange. He has the Samsung tablet. Just get the Ultra with 32gigs and then use the tablet as an extended screen for when you need the pen?🤷‍♂️

    I'm facing a screen crack issue ( its universal now ) . Unfortunately, they refused to cover it under warranty. It's a significant waste of both money and time on this product. To me, it seems like a fundamental design flaw. Even a tiny speck of dust can cause the laptop to crack when closed.

    I bought one of these. I love the screen, but I have constant BSOD errors and overheating. I've had two Surface Books with overheating issues, charging issues, etc., but never BSOD straight out of the box.

    I think Samsung assumed artists would buy their own drawing tablet and pair with BookUltra, thats why they didnt make 360 too powerful and just focused on keeping it as much light as possible.

    • @oerhoert
      @oerhoert ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Asking consumers to buy both a tablet and a convertible is super hostile. The reason to get a convertible is to avoid all the added cost and hassle resulting from trying to split and coordinate work across two computers.

    • @00z53
      @00z53 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@oerhoert if they want to draw using BookUltra which isnt a convertible, yes they would have to purchase a drawing tablet. Most professional artist buys one anyways.
      For people with convertible like 360, no they arent asking to buy their tablets.

    Samsung's shopping cart isn't working correctly. Spent all day with support yesterday and they couldn't get my order to process.

    • @williamaungleyraud
      @williamaungleyraud ปีที่แล้ว

      I've got 3 orders instantly canceled by Samsung, I got tired and ordered the Asus Flow X16 (2022), maxed out the ram with 64gb, and added a secondary 2tb ssd.
      Never looked back. Yeah the ecosystem integration was tempting, but built-in soldered ram wasn't.
      The Nvidia 4000 series have improved power consumption, but not to the degree where in conjunction with windows it would rival Apple the the M series processor in battery life and performance (except for 3d). So with an AMD processor and limiting my gpu use when in battery mode, I still get better battery comparing to Intel counterparts.

  • @andyH_England
    @andyH_England ปีที่แล้ว +4

    Yes, RAM is essential for performance, as even with swap, the machine is much slower using SSD than it would having more RAM. A lot of consumers never understand that a pro workflow you can never have too much RAM.
    Although Apple charges a lot for RAM, at least they offer much higher configs, and prosumers will pay the price of entry as they make it up with faster times and less slowdowns. A big negative for the UK where even the Ultra only goes to 16GB. That simply is amateur hour for prosumers.
    I hope YT creators heed the user feedback and mention these poor choices by Samsung. I see the Galaxy Book Pros more as premium ultrabooks, for basic stuff and media to view on that display, but at a hefty price tag. The Ultra with no 32GB is a fail over here in the UK.

    I agee 100%. You don't need top of the line CPU to get work done. But often we see this from most of the laptop brands, want more RAM, buy it with pre buit confiq that comes with 1000€ CPU. But low mid range CPU from same Gen is not 4 times slower, not even close, plus on battery power the CPU is gonna be down clocked 75-90%. I don't keep tabs open, but i have seen 6-7 GB memory use from Firefox.

    One tip? When you are explaining something? Don't ask whomever you're talking to? Because we don't know? You're the one explaining it to us? We don't know? You know?
