IMPORTANT: If the Lens flare is greyed out: Go to Image_Mode_RGB, 8 bits/Channel. Also, the lens flare will not work on an active layer that is empty. The layer must have either a color or image in it.

The Photoshop scratch disk is your hard drive. PS uses your hard drive as temporary "swap" space, or virtual memory, when your system doesn't have enough RAM to perform an operation. Go to Edit > Preferences. You need to clear some space on whatever drive is defined as the scratch disk in Photoshop Preferences. Also, defragment your hard disk. You may need to install more ram, too.

Thank you so much Marty! I've used Photoshop somewhat in the past a couple of years ago but never really cared enough to get familiar with all the tools. I recently got Photoshop CC and this is the first tutorial I've watched which led me to my first piece of work. :) I did have to stop and rewind a ton to look from Phooshop to my phone because I found it a little too fast, but I kept up with the numbers and such. It's also 4 in the morning haha! Thanks Marty! :)

alialgeneidy...From a design perspective, compress the top & bottom of the diamond shape to conform to the word. Use your transform tool to compress the diamond shape.

If you are having trouble centering the lens flare, you can alt click the preview window and enter in coordinates. My logo was 800 by 800 pixels, so I entered the coordinates 400, 400.

Muhammad Tariq...For print work, make sure your document is at least 150 pixels per inch. The CMYK mode looks duller on your screen than RGB, because printed color inks aren't as intense as looking at color on a computer screen. Your choices are either to accept your colors as they are or increase their vibrancy to compensate the difference of intensity. Either way, I would request a color "proof" from the printer to ensure the colors are acceptable to you.
