Hey, that was an amazing effort put right there. I loved to see how you charted out different fonts to figure out the wordmark. I quite agree that the Y could have been much better minus the time constraint. Also I felt the colour looked more like a violet than a purple, I was actually hoping to see the wordmark in purple rather than in reverse colours. But can understand creating a design in 15 minutes with stress reduces the chances to create the best design that we can offer our brands. I am too hard with my design standards, I choose to battle with the brand if they fail to understand the nuances that come with liberal time and good briefs... Not that I am a great logo designer, but with a few years of experience, I can atleast understand the crux of a good logo design. Once again, must say that was a great effort. Let's hope you are allowed amount of time to work out the best one every single time.

Client's mind is a black box and to understand and meet the buyer's requirements I ask questions, inspirations from buyer, if its a brief I read it again and again so I wouldn't miss anything.
Photoshop and illustrator if you wanna to be a graphic designer and logo design but if you want to be UI/UX designer use Figma or Adobe XD.@@StudyTips7363

I used to work for a small digital marketing agency and those guys used to tell me to make logo and do branding in just one day and I actually used to deliver it, though those designs were not my best works but it was fun ngl

Now try doing that for a client’s marketing team who have a particular goals and aesthetic preference and make it fit their brand but give it a wow factor.
Are those type of typographic logos are valuable or getting to create just to make content. In my mind every brand has its own story, own strategical visual elements from shape to typography rather then creating on empty canvas. ! May be i was wrong about it but it is what it is . But you are going well keep it make it bro
I think you can just invert the 'p' & cut the top half of the round for the 'y' ... if that make sense 🙂
You could've flipped the P and cropped it from top to make a Y

But bro you didn't used that purple colour onto the logo itself, you used that colour on the background of the logo, where the logo was White coloured. So how do you explain it? He was told to use the color on logo that was correct and he can use that color in bg also because ultimately the color he chose will be jn logo when brand uses it. He provided two color option.

very nice in 15mn and stressful. One question : who is the owner of the logo, brand identity, you or the owner of the brand. How to determine that. is it in the contract, how can we know about this when contacting a designer ?

My POV to design a logo for PoPpy brand would be- Purple color-To pop up, with that purple I would've used 2 more colors to pop up with ombre effect on pattern for packaging.

You should also try the purple 💜 color for the logo, which was required in the brief. I usually create a logo in 10 minutes but read the brief in 1 hour. Hopefully designers agreed with me.

also, I have given so much practice to design theory and not to the tools themselves, I kind of wish that I knew how to use tools like Illustrator and Figma and maybe some other Adobe products with a flick of a finger as you do, just like how you wished you could type a bit faster. I feel the logo was a little off as you solidified the idea of using the word 'poppy' to hasten the process. In my opinion, you could have used at least a minute of your time to play with association rather than organization. Kind regards from another aspiring designer

I tried asking for a 25% advance but they refused..can they be trusted..it seems like a legit German corporation..
less is always more when you design a logo, mostly beginners think that with lot of text information is good mark but just look at the world's top companies.
It was so fast, you demonstrated your expertise right there. However, I think there was a very small bit of kerning issue, but still you did such an amazing job. You are my inspiration 🧡🧡

Bro didn't make a logo in 15 mins, he just created an entire brand in 15 mins!
the pattern you made looks like dp i think it will mislead the brand identity and this is also a brand logo which exactly look like this pattern. can we have some solution for these type of things? because many times our logo matches with other brands even if it is originally designed by us
