- Still Only 35c Issue 16 - Should you use CGC Comics Pressing Service? I cracked out two silver age keys to find out. Did I get a grade bump or bust?
For this one, I wanted to experiment with CGC Pressing and recently cracked out two Silver Age Keys, Incredible Hulk Issue 2 and Tales of Suspense Issue 52, both UK Price Variants for resubmission to CGC with their Comic Book Pressing service in the hope of getting a grade bump. Was I successful?

I am big advocate of cleaning and pressing before grading. I bought a full Deadpool circle chase series for Vf+ price and my cleaner and pressing guy managed to get 9.8s out of all four books! Even #1 that is an embossed cover.
Thanks for the support and comment. I agree, it's amazing what a good cleaning and pressing can do for comic books and like yourself I pretty much make sure every book submitted has one. I'm on the hunt for a good 3rd party presser and experimenting on pressing my own books.
Did you Crack them open yourself of have CGC do it?
It was all me in the hotel room whilst at ECCC; as CGC weren't there had to find Post Office to send them the next day.
