@@_lovelykristen I totally understand and feel the same way. Classroom management has always been my strength (even in college) so to feel like I’m struggling in this area for the first time is really taking a toll on me. I definitely feel like I spend more time redirecting than teaching and no matter how much I talk to the families, nothing changes.
@@BrandiJanei Yes, that definitely says something. I feel bad complaining because I feel like I’m part of the blame. I am an inexperienced teacher, but at the same time, kids should just listen at some point. I spend so much time correcting behaviors and being interrupted. The amount of time I’m interrupted is ridiculous. I just find myself thinking…are teachers in upper grades interrupted this much because it’s wild. I know they’re little. I try to give grace, but some days it’s just too much.
@@_lovelykristen yes, I get it and I try to maintain a level of gratitude because I prayed for the job, I got the job, and now I don’t like the job. SMH I’m still grateful for employment and finances to maintain my life.
@@BrandiJanei Yes 🙏🏽 I feel that because I’m the same way. I try to always maintain a level of gratitude as well. I also try to give myself some grace and know that I’m doing the best I can. Definitely give yourself grace too. I truly believe everything is meant to be a learning lesson. Hang in there girl. I’ll be praying for you 💕💕
