    You're doing great as a tutorial guru. You're telling stuff even i didn't know. Very helpful indeed.👍

      Thank you, Forkliftdude2.
      I wouldn't say I was a 'guru', but I'm glad to share my experiences and experiments.
      However, just to produce a 15 minute video usually takes about 4 to 5 hours of editing to get it right before I upload it to TH-cam :-)

      I have roughly an idea about the amount of work some video's are. Even more a reason to give you the thumbs up.

    I must say that your lessons are easier to understand than others. I have been using Adobe Audition for a few years, but have a friend nagging for me to use "GarageBand." I don't own & never plan to own a Mac. This seemed like the best choice. Thanks for the guidance :)

    Had to subscribe, the way you explain things makes it very easy for me to understand, something that is hard to find elsewhere. I hope you don't mind if i pose 3 questions that i can't find answers to. First off, can i import 3rd party midi tunes/songs into MMM to use? The midis are the kind of thing my dad has as backing on his keyboard. 2nd off, i am part way through making a tune and want to play and record some stuff on my midi keyboard but this stuff comes in 2/3 of the way into the song but, when i press record it always starts the midi recording at the beginning of my tune so i have to listen to 2/3 of my tune before i can start playing what i want to record. How can i start midi recording part way through my song? 3rd off, Can i add more "volume" markers to an object? The default is left, middle and right but can i add more markers so i can pull the volume of one object up and down a few times? Thanks and keep up the great work, it helps me loads.

    nice tutorial but all i see is loops putting together, but its great to know i thought it was working with MIDI since i like making my own, but this info is easy and i like it, but thanks for some pointers working in the daw.

      Please see some of my other MMM videos where I demonstrate a simple introduction to using MIDI. 👍👍

      But, thanks for watching anyway and I hope all of my Magix beginner tutorials will be helpful to you. 👍

    Very nice and helpfull.Thanks Tony. Just a question : why I do not have the "Tempo pitch/resample" ligne in my "Inspector" device?

    • @LPGexpert
      @LPGexpert  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Julien.
      Are you running a fully licensed version of Magix? If it's the free or 'lite' version then I know some features are not available in those versions, and this could be one of those features. I don't know for sure because I've only ever used the full versions. Other than that, I can't think of a reason why this option isn't available to you - sorry.
      Thanks for watching.

      @@LPGexpert You can use your instinct and sensibility, like profanes do. I and my bro composed more than 50 pieces of music without knowing music theory.

    This was posted a year ago but I just found this personally helpful.
    I was hoping I could do exactly this but change the entire sound to a different instrument when I have the pitches and speed I’d like. If you see this, let me know perhaps?
    Thanks for the content! :)

    • @LPGexpert
      @LPGexpert  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that can be done quite easily, Jasonnnsaurus. You select the track you want, open up the instrument used to generate that sound and just select a different instrument. Please see some of my other tutorials where I explain this.
      Thanks for watching.

    I just bought the 2020 Premium Edition upgrade (was able to upgrade from the free Music Maker download version I got when I bought Magix Movie Edit Pro Premium). In the Inspector menu, I do not have the Tempo pitch/resample option. I have Compressor, 10-band equalizer, Reverb, and Echo. Where are the other functions? Thanks.

      I just noticed that someone else had the same issue. In my case, I had to install the Plus FX plug-in located in the Features section of the store. It is $9.99 but it is free in the purchased version of Music Maker.

    do you have the complete list of videos of absolute beginners tutorials?

    • @LPGexpert
      @LPGexpert  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi alberto60.
      I don't have a definitive list of all my Magix tutorial video's. I never thought to produce a list of them. Probably, the best thing to do is check out my channel and search for my Magix tutorials from there. I have lots of them available and they're all on TH-cam somewhere.
      Thanks for watching. 👍

    Hello Tony! Your videos are great and extremely helpful! I have one question. If i had pressed yes on the warning, how would i go about changing back to not having it on?

    • @LPGexpert
      @LPGexpert  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi DSM Sleepers.
      The simplest way to do it would be to delete the object and re-insert another object using the pitch you wanted. There is another way of changing the pitch of an object whilst it's still in the track, which involves right-clicking on the object and selecting [Pitch & Tempo], then change the pitch directly. Sorry if this reply sounds confusing, but it's not easy to explain in writing.

    if i put the 1 track onto the other my music maker does NOT do the crossfade..but i want it what can i do and what do i have to change?

    • @LPGexpert
      @LPGexpert  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi flingstress.
      Magix works exactly like any other audio editing software. If you drag or drop one piece of audio on top of another, it will cross-fade those two pieces. But, this depends where you want the cross-fade to take place. If you place one piece of music directly over the top of another piece and inline with it, then no cross-fade will take place. Cross-fade will only occur if you partially overlap the two pieces of music. You may need to move your second piece of music further to the right to obtain the cross-fade effect. Hope this helps.
      Thanks for watching.

    I bought this software back in the 2017 while I was buying my Movie Studio Platinum 14.0.
    The software itself worked just fine. So, one day on april 2019 the software didn't work at all anymore. So, what did I do was - asked help from Magix premium support.
    The Problem i seem to have is that when I try to add mp4's to movie studio platinum, I get the error that says something about the confirmation of AAC (MC).
    From what Ive read, this seems to be quite regular problem with magix.
    Anyone else experiencing the same issue? i've tried to start the software with admin rights. Did not work.
    The MAGIX Premium Support doesn't seem to want to answer on my issue at all anymore.
    I must say, I am very disappointed with MAGIX now.
    Btw, I seem to have lose all the instruments that I've purchased for my MAGIX MUSIC player too. Couple of hundred euro's worth of instruments

      Hi Anttiolavi Salonen.
      I'm afraid I cannot answer the problems you're having with Movie Studio.
      However, to recover your lost Soundpools and Instruments, press 'P' on the keyboard to bring up the Program Settings. On the bottom right of the applet, click on the [Rescan Soundpools...] button to rescan all of the soundpools you once had. If that doesn't recover all of them properly, here's a reply I received from Magix Support a while ago...
      "Go to our content market platform Producer Planet (www.producerplanet.com) and log in with your MAGIX user account. Any soundpools you have obtained through the in-app store in Music Maker will appear in your list of purchased products here, since both platforms share the same back-end system and account. You can now choose to download any missing soundpools as OGG or WAV files (archived into a ZIP file) from there. Please download and unpack the missing pool onto the desired location on your hard drive. Then use the "Add new soundpools" function in the settings menu of the "Loops" tab (under the cog wheel) within Music Maker to index the downloaded files in the database"
      Try also visiting the Magix Store and select [Instruments] from the drop down tab to see if you can recover your purchased instruments that way.
      Hope this helps a little.
