    Was the talk you mentioned in the middle of this video recorded?

  • @AccordionJoe1
    @AccordionJoe1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The Christian Brothers taught me that a marriage performed by an Episcopal priest or Orthodox priest is considered a valid marriage by the church. A friend, married in an Episcopal Church and then divorced, was allowed to remarry in a Catholic ceremony because the diocese officials said his Episcopal marriage was not recognized by the church. So which was right? A woman friend with three children from a Catholic marriage was able to get the marriage annulled by the church. Turns out her uncle was a monsignor. Politics was clearly at play.

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dear Joseph, if he was baptized Catholic, then it is basically automatic approval because yes, he did not have canonical form for his first marriage. So while the marriage was a natural marriage, it was not a sacramental marriage. The annulment process in those cases is pretty much "automatic".

  • @ichthusthree

    THANK YOU 🙏🏼 FATHER! Can you please include in your talk if marriage in a court (not Church) is a SIN- A MORTAL SIN?! & considered fornication. Is FORNICATION A MORTAL GRAVE SIN?? THANK YOU.❤️

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dear Misty, for baptized Catholics, they need to be married with proper Canonical Form. Any marriage for a baptized Catholic outside the Church is not considered a valid, sacramental marriage. Please talk to your local priest or bishop to find out who you can reconcile the situation. Know that you are in our prayers.

    Here's a small information from my side.
    Every young Catholics who wants to get married or who are about to get married just go to your official city or district's archdiocese website's TRIBUNAL page.
    Read everything before getting married.
    By reading every canon laws mentioned in that tribunal page it will help young Catholics before getting into marriage.
    Introduce them to your friends too whoever wants to get married.
    Thank you.

    Father, my son asked me this question today:
    “Mom, why did God even give us life, if there is a chance we would go to hell?”
    Please help me with a GOOD answer (I still don’t know that one).

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      He gave us life because his love, the greatest of all love, overflowed and God desired to share that love. Thus, he created us purely to share that inner love found in the Trinity. All he wanted in return was our love, so to ensure that our love in return was real, and genuine (which is what any person in this world would want from a spouse for instance) he gave us free will. Love doesn't mean anything if it is forced and not freely given. So God didn't create us to force us to love him return - he gave us the choice. He wants us to love him because we want to love him, not because we have to like robots. Therefore, he gave us the greatest gift in the world in free will. But with free will comes the possibility that we would not love him and would choose to completely reject him. That is what hell is, a complete rejection of God. God doesn't send anyone to hell, we choose it if we choose not to love him and reject his love. Surprisingly, many people do. Thank you and God bless.

      Divine Mercy thank you DM!!!
      My daughter was confirmed on Saint Thérèse’s Feast Day this year.
      She chose St Thérèse as her Saint, back in November 2019 on her confirmation retreat (rather the Holy Spirit chose it with St. Thérèse for her (another amazing story, but too long for my thumbs)❣️‼️🙏❤️🌹🌹🌹
      Her middle name is Rose. (She didn’t know, per say, the significance behind that, at the time).
      She had NO IDEA she would be confirmed on her feast day.
      My chin was on the floor for about 12 hours after we realized this.
      #divineintervention
      Thank you St. Thérèse. Thank you Jesus. Thank you, Our Blessed Mother & your most holy & chaste spouse, St. Joseph! Thank you Holy Trinity❣️‼️🙏 Thank you, our Nana, St. Marjia‼️🙏❤️🙏
      Hallelujah‼️🌹🙏❤️💙🤍🙏
      Edit: EVEN MORE! We didn’t know until a few days before (bc Covid didn’t allow for much time spent together): Her sponsor’s Saint is also St. Thérèse. AND her sponsor’s middle name is also ROSE! I mean, this couldn’t even be thought up to be more miraculous, Father!?! Just incredible. Thank you so much for your prayers. I am sending a stipend of thanksgiving to the Marian Fathers. We appreciate you so much. You will remain in our prayers, always. God is so good!!!

    Golly I needed to hear this...I'm having some difficulty being tempted by a married man...at least, in certain terms, he is married. I am now single, I was married but now annulled...
    His "overtures" are becoming more and more difficult to resist. I've denied myself love since my break up...this is a huge temptation for me. 😔 I'd love to be with this person long term...but I don't know if he really understands the consequence of his actions...
    Please pray for me, him and his wife...

      @@mangafq8 I thought of this...it's difficult to explain the circumstances so publicly...
      I cannot be naive to the fact that I am a fleeting whimsy to him. There is no guarantee that if he left her, that he'd be faithful to me. Nor I to him for that matter. There's baggage on both sides. All I CAN do, is put it in Blessed Mother's hands. With any luck, he'll do the same. I think he's Orthodox.

      Thanks be to God and your prayers!🥰 Blessed Mother has NEVER let me down! I decided to seek answers from a friend whose word I trust. He is NOT to be trusted, he is NOT all that he seems...he lures in, only to make out to others that, "she's love crazy for me..."🤨
      I was inspired to pray a Rosary before my shift, now I see how important it is and what a battle I may have before me. Please pray for me.
      In Tolkien's "The Hobbit"...I may be dealing with "Azog, the defiler..."
