Tips for u: mormally when we cook rice with dishes, we cook the rice 1st so that while waiting for the rice to cook, we can prepare other dishes.

In Malaysia, we don't use a straw when we drinking Teh Tarik.
u are mistaken Stompy.. early they make teh tarik then it become Teh Ais bcoz i noticed ice cube there..
Don't use straw if it is hot but if ice version it's ok to use straw..

It's just individual.. no correct way to do it.. and they also know that it's a bad idea to drink hot water with a straw.. it's a common sense..
