His official titles are: Group Director of the Middle East Broadcasting Center, Dean of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University of Dubai and also happens to be Mouin’s Father.

Sarde (noun), [Sa-r-de]: A colloquial term used in the Middle East to describe the act of letting go & kicking off a stream of consciousness and a rambling narrative.
The Sarde After Dinner Podcast is a free space based out of the heart of Beirut, Lebanon, where Médéa Azouri & Mouin Jaber discuss a wide range of topics (usually) held behind closed doors in an open and simple way with guests from all walks of life.

I spent years researching, reading and watching interview, reports, etc. about Lebanon for my documentary Enough! Lebanon’s Darkest Hour. I must say as a journalist, I found this interview, and the stories that Ali Jaber shared here, to be one of the most fascinating, informative, factual and uninhibited interviews I have ever watched. Mr Ali Jaber is an icon of free and fair media ✊🏼. Also, Bravo Mouin, interviewing your internationally-accomplished media icon father would not have been easy, but you maintained momentum and focus which enabled me as a viewer to be compelled to continue to watch. Medea you had the hardest role to support without interrupting the flow, and you did it with class and professionalism. Bravo to all. May we all

I had the opportunity to meet Ali a couple of times given that we work in the same kind of industry and have friends in common. I truly enjoyed watching this episode because of his insightful and informative outlook on the overall media industry In the region. His realistic yet hopeful views in regards to Lebanon were refreshing to hear. It’s these kind of educated and humble people that Lebanon needs to allow Lebanon to prosper again.
