Ye they were but for a short amount of time Kabal left pretty quickly and joined the police
Yes they were members of the New Black Dragon which was created by Kabal. But by the end of Mortal Kombat Armageddon mostly everyone died and Raiden started a new timeline by sending a piece of his conscience back in time.

I love how tremor is a huge Johnny Cage fan in mk x.
Kano was arrested during the events of Mortal Kombat Special Forces and escaped from prison during the events of Mortal Kombat 1 i.e. during the Mortal Kombat tournament, and also Jerak was arrested during the events of Mortal Kombat Special Forces and escaped from prison during the events of Mortal Kombat Special Forces Kano was imprisoned for 3 years and then escaped and then was arrested again during the events of Mortal Kombat 3 during the invasion of the outside world of planet Earth. Kano was imprisoned for 7 years and then escaped and then defeated by Sonya Blade and imprisoned once Another for 5 years, after which he escaped from prison during the events of the Armageddon War

I don't expected this to happen in the near Future But the Black Dragon Crew should of gotten more character Development they've got lot of
Potential long side Kira and Kobra in fact now that Kano is dead this a great opportunity to introduce them in the roll of a new leader
Yea it would've been cool seeing them more. They could've used more members in the rebooted timeline. Would've been a good opportunity to separate Jarek from being a discount Kano.

They weren't part of Kano's crew. Kabal formed his own version of the Black Dragon with them.
since special forces is chronologically set before mk1 in the original timeline and did happen,does that mean it still happened in the new timeline(mk9-11)?

Fun little glance at Kano's unfortunate crew.
I think every black dragon characters should deserve a second chance for instants Jarek can be Kano’s loyalist second in command and trustworthy right hand man who get shit done by any means unlike Kano he cares for the well-being of the black dragon and have a sadistic brash and arrogant personality he can still have a short temper and a cunning mercenary who doesn’t give a shit about anything and will give the clan power since Kano’s dead he can take his place and still do assassinations, murder, and mayhem etc like Kabal on deception he can recruit Kira and Kobra into the clan and become a force of anarchist his gameplay can be resembling Kano but not the cannonball or other of his iconic ones his fighting style can be street fighting and martial arts etc and he can be a villain that you love to hate. Tasia can be the swords master of the clan going on mercenary and assassinations for the clan but doesn’t get involved with the arm dealings and murder since she’s a professional she can be similar to Kill Bill and Lady Shiva and Cheshire since their both katana wielding fighters he can be like a ninja swords master and she can use kunais or shurikens as range weapons she can use a smoke bomb to disappear and appear in a large cloud of smoke and can be a hard target to pinned down. No Face on the other hand can be the pyromania of the black dragon who utilizes varieties of explosive and gadgets he can still use his flamethrower and dynamite sticks he can use bombs, grenades, gas, and smoke since he have a knowledge of explosives and fire he can be like some sort of psychopath with obsessive of fire he can burn a person or even a building down with fire he can be similar to Firefly from DC comic. So that’s my idea for the characters I hope y’all like it.

Not Kano's. He was an ex-member, reformed as a good guy, then went back and recreated the Black Dragon on his own later.
