So if he got his super speed in the reboot timeline from Shang Tsung's magic AFTER being burned in 9... then how did he have his speed BEFORE he was burned in 11?

This is one hell of an update video here and I'm glad we have it. As for what to do next, why not do Kitana next along with Jade?
They have enough story to have totally separate videos. It's these characters like Kobra and Kira that barely have any impact in anything in the series.

Woo first view and the very first comment from the viewers. This video was a nice update video on Kabal.
Armageddon’s endings were so weak and Kira & Kobra even weaker I didn’t even bother doing the ladder with them back then. Glad to see that nothing of value was lost. And what a way for both of them to piss out the last time see them in Armageddon.
Yea Armageddon as a whole was a huge letdown in my opinion. The endings in general were awful and no character specific fatalities which is a HUGE no no for Mortal Kombat.

I find so awfully weird how Kabal ends with Sareena. I'm pretty sure they never had any interaction whatsoever.
If it was with Kira instead, it would have been more understandable even if it would still be odd for both characters. At least less.odd than Sareena.
Yea that came out of nowhere, Kira would've made much more sense. His character is completely unrelated to Sareena.
I like all the research you have done for each character, but the only one who matters is Kabal, because even in the new timeline Kobra are Kira are mentioned once each in MK X game, this proves that Kobra and Kira are useless, thanks for the video Fabian great job 👍
Pretty much most of the characters introduced in the "3D era" of Mortal Kombat ended up being incredibly unimportant.

With Kabal's new Black Dragon, I only liked Kira. I loved her ending where she pretty much made the Ken wannabe Kobra fall in love with her only for her to knife him.
Sadly Kobra and Kira made practically no impact in the story overall. Remove them both and nothing changes
