In MK9 Kabal is a good guy’s and now he worked to Kano
Kabal used to be a black dragon before mk9, then left his crime life and became a cop, the kabal from the past in mk11 is from before he became a cop
Also kanos lying to him, telling him Sonya is the reason he got burned
Kano did trick him into thinking That Sonya was the one who burned him to get dirt on the Black Dragons, but really Kintaro was actually the one who burned him.
Between Good or Bad Kabal, I prefer Good Kabal

The censorship for skarlet drives me crazy
For the those of you confused on why kabal is a bad guy and not good guy cop like he was in mk9, it's because before he was a cop he worked for the black dragon, he gave that up to become a cop but then he was burned by kintaro and he needed cybernetic enhancements to live. Then he was killed by sindel. He became a revenant and was never turned back. These intro references are all of kabal before mk9 when he was in the black dragon. He also has a few from around mkx when he was a revenant.
But why does he have super speed when he hasn’t been burned yet

Former NRS developer, Brian Chard mentioned Ed Boon and some NRS developers actually liked Kobra. NRS enjoy killing any MK characters like Mileena, Sonya, Liu Kang, etc no matter what.

Now we know both kabal and erron black stories are retcon because in MK9 kabal was a black dragon truned police officer but now in MK11 he was already a police officer and was bought off by kano which is stupid and in MKX kano asked if erron wanted to be part of the black dragon and he refused but now MK11 is saying he was already part of the black dragon. This is why I stoped playing MK11 it keeps retconning stories for no reason and it makes no sense anymore.
Good kabal died and became revenent, this is the past kabal and past kabal was evil
