- We go pick the new hunting rifle that we will be using this season, and get to share how a whole rifle is manufactured in the Bergara Rifles factory. Pretty cool process that I hope you guys enjoy, how its machined, cerakoted, assembled and tested.

I bought a Bergara B-14 HMR .308 Win this past year. The fit & finish, feel, & accuracy is unbelievable. I've shot Sako's for over 35 years and the Bergara's rival them. Price point coupled with quality is hard to beat.

And this is exactly the model rifle that you speak of that I'm probably going to buy this coming week. My only trepidation is the weight as I don't only sit in the deer stand I do walk around the Texas brush a bit. Do you find this to be a problem for yourself?
Yes, it's very heavy. I bought this rifle for a different reason you're looking for/at. I wanted a Long Range Rifle for bench shooting, so the weight for me is not an issue. My HMR comes in at 12.40 lbs.

I just bought a b-14 Ridge in .308 , I own CVA as well, for factory they have the best feel and triggers and very accurate as well.
When are you going to review the rifle, setting up with rail, mounts and scope, very interested as I have just ordered the same.

Awesome and quite impressive tour of such a factory 🏭. I love my CVA Optima V2 50 cal muzzleloader. Bergara is high on my list of rifle brands that I will look into when I am able to afford another rifle.
I actually want to sell my Savage A17 that is supposed to be a semi automatic but won’t cycle a 2nd round and get a bolt action 17 HMR from them.
If folks watched this video earlier when you posted it they would have gotten a sneak peek 🫣 at the new B14 Squared Crest rifles months before their release a month ago. I really like that rifle but I wish it and the others they recently launched came in more cartridges instead of just 4 or 5. I want that rifle in 7 PRC if they make it available. I also wish they had some left handed models available.
It is now, and I’m pondering one. Do I wait for a Tikka or go for the Crest…?
@@Hammsolo77 either rifle would do great. Depends on the cartridge you are interested, the ergonomics and if you need a right or left hand rifle. Tikka has a bunch in left hand but currently no 7 PRC, but they have the 6.5 PRC so hopefully 🤞🏻 the 7 is coming at shot show.
Since you know the right guys, ask them if they can provide a few videos on how to disassemble a B 14 bolt, on the 6.5 Creed and PRC too. Have seen so many different ways guys take them apart, Great video on the factory.

Went from a RPR to a Bergara. Couldn't be more happy with the accuracy. These things can put .5" moa at 100 yards with me shooting.
At your test firing @ 17:20 for 3 shots, about 1/2 moa. Very good shooting and a highly accurate rifle!

I have heard mixed reviews on Bergera. Some people love them, and others have had issues. I have a 17 hmr, and it is great. My brother has a Wilderness Ridge in 6.5 prc and he loves it. I have a couple of Tikkas and they are outstanding, but I have to custom them out on arrival. They need new bottom metal, bedding, and more to reach their potential. I don’t know if I have ever heard a complaint about them. Will I need to work on the Crest to reach its potential? Bedding? I actually enjoy doing it, but my attraction to the Crest is the stock. I want a 7 prc, and I think I’d have to replace the factory stock to maximize accuracy due to recoil. Ugh, I can overthink anything… I need the details from you Pedro. I’ve also heard rumors that they give their “checked” rifles to influencers, and the regular dude gets luck of the draw…

Went today, (President's Day), to do the paperwork and background check for my new Bergara B14 Squared Crest rifle in 6.5 CM. I have to wait a couple more days because of the holiday to pick it up because of the three-day waiting period here where I live. Can't Wait!

Would like to see Bergara include European calibers for the European and North American market.. I'd like to personally see the B-14 in calibers like 7x57mm, 7x64, 6.5x55, 8x57mm, 9.3x62 and even 8x68. I'd also like them to produce a dangerous game model something in .375h&h, .416 Remington and .458 Winchester.

I have a cva paramount muzzle loader made by these guys and it shoots better than most centerfire rifles. We shoot it out to 500 yds with ease. Super accurate

I own few, am glad to see improvement on them from the beginning a M16 extractor style is need and will perform much better the factory extractor is not the best a side my rifle shoot 1/4 a moa with hand loads and bergara barrels have good pedigree!

What an interesting video. I still don't understand how they managed to get my B-14 HMR in 308 to shoot so poorly with factory premium ammo but they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory somehow. 1.5-2 MOA 5-shot groups are not "match" level groups.
I told Bergara about it. They fired a couple 3-shot groups (one of which was 0.98 MOA) and sent the rifle back without touching it or even bothering to tell me they were sending it. I would have gladly paid them to do a more in-depth investigation or even swap the barrels but there was no communication and I wasn't given that option. I was away on vacation and it was nearly returned to sender. I had to pay USPS to hold it and when I got it back, it shot just as poorly as before.
I ended up sending it to them again. They recrowned it and sent it back. When I got it back I found that there was rust all over the bolt and also some inside the barrel. I took it out and tested it again but it should just as poorly as before. I asked for a refund but Bergara refused to give me one. In the I sold that hunk of junk. I'm glad to be rid of it and will never buy another Bergara product.
I just realized. The barrels are NOT hammer-forged 👎.
