- An Israeli rights group, Peace Now, says the occupied West Bank is experiencing some of the biggest land grabs by Israel since 1967.
Two popular and historically significant sites are under threat from Israel's army that’s blocking access and aiding illegal settlement expansion.
Al Jazeera’s Laura Khan reports from Sebastia and Battir in the north and south of the occupied West Bank.

I am holding little hope that this comment would get to print, but I will do it anyway.
The Jews while admirable in many aspects, top among them in the scientific, music, medicines and many others. Yet it is also a group littered with some no so charitable characters notably in the US administration of various governments. War mongers is the one word would probably got me deleted.
It is notable that Jews were exiled many times in history, from ancient Biblical time, to recent. But why? Why were they targeted? What have they done to deserve such ill treatments? I think the answers are aplenty in Palestine. Many wars originated from the conflicts between the Jews and Palestinians. That is still valid to today.
Give them an inch, and they will take a mile. That is the appropriate way to describe the situation is the West Bank, and Palestine as a whole. Not only does Israel want a safe and secured homeland, it now wants to take over the entire Palestine, bit by bit, inch by inch.
When South Africa took it upon itself to do the right thing by the Palestinians and the world as a whole, and tool Israel to the IJC for genocides. I think it should broaden its list by including the settlers in the West Bank. Yes, it is not as large scale as the 26,000 death in Gaza, but the constant harassing, wanton acts of damage of Palestinians properties with the ultimate goal to drive them out, and eventually claiming the land for themselves, is just as abhorrent as the mass murders in Gaza.

Want to bring the boys home? Do you wish to limit military actions to becoming multinational, following the principles of international law only, and independent of any corporate "interests." Do you wish to contribute to end western imperialist actions and meddling all over the world? You wish to contribute a small share to forcing Israel into a negotiated peace process? Do you wish to give small companies a better chance in the dog-eat-dog capitalist world in your country?
*Join BDS, because the international cross-border politically influencial rich and powerfull only REALLY start caring when their pockets start hurting.*
Regardless of where you live, or how much money you have, just remember this:
- You are not going to achieve change by voting in elections.
- You are not going to achieve change by posting on social media.
- You are not going to achieve change by debating on any plattform, real or virtual.
- You are not going to achieve change by making use your "freedom of speech" in any way.
- You are not going to achieve change by protesting in any possible way which will politically make a difference.
*Here is what you can do, easily:*
