Sharks on the Reading & Lehigh | Model Railroad | N-scale

Intrepid cameramen captured a pair of Baldwin Sharks hauling a west-bound freight on the Reading & Lehigh. These units were originally owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad, but were sold to the R&L in the era of detente after the merger. The Baldwin's annoying inability to MU (multiple-unit) with other diesels was a problem for the Pennsy, but ok for the merged railroad, for their fast-freight manifests.
These units served the R&L in their original Pennsy colors for almost a year before they were run through the paint shop and transformed!
