    Find out how to get to the main terminal from the air side terminal at Orlando International Airport, how to find the correct baggage claim for the terminal you arrived in; and which main terminal level offers the correct ground transportation for curbside pickup, ride-sharing services, car rentals and selected resort transportation. Learn how to navigate the main terminal "loops" and avoid frustration when arriving back at the airport.

    This update to my original episode covers changes that will commence starting January 1, 2022. For instance, Disney's Magical Express will no longer provide transportation to Walt Disney World; thus, that section has been removed from the original episode. A full re-shoot will be made as soon as the new Terminal C is available sometime in 2022 or 2023.

    I'll be traveling here from BNA in April with my two toddlers! I have been a nervous wreck seeing how busy MCO has been recently. This helps ease a lot of anxiety. Thank you!

    I fly down to MCO at lest once a year for WDW from PDX & I gotta say (not in 2020)
    As a special needs person, I find MCO as one of the most easiest & stress free Airport I’ve ever been too
    The layout is very easy for me to get to point A to point B
    And because of that, MCO is one of my favorite airports
    Some of the others are my home PDX & SLC

    Thanks, very useful. The airport is very difficult to navigate, especially when you have just been flying across the Atlantic for 9 hours. Is terminal C now open?

      Hi. Terminal C is slated to open this Fall, but no official date yet.

    So, I’ll be there in August 2024. NCL will be arranging transportation to the cruise ship. Where would we get that ?

    Currently a Brit on a family holiday in the U.S.
    I flew through here yesterday and I was not impressed.
    Very difficult to navigate.
    I was flying Delta to New York via terminal B.
    However on arrival at B, the airport signs seem to be intent on showing people what flights are going out of terminal A, as opposed to giving directions for the flight desks that actually go from that terminal itself.😡
    Also the internal train that takes you to gates 70 to 90 has people boarding on the same side as people disembarking. Like a normal passenger station train.
    You can imagine the slight chaos with all the luggage people are carrying. 😡
    At all other airports I've travelled through, passengers disembark through the left set of doors and once they're almost completely done, the boarding starts from the right hand side.

    Thanks very much for this informative video! Let me make sure I understand correctly... I am flying into Orlando just for the day from Fort Lauderdale so I won't have any baggage. Flying on Southwest, so it will be air side A but I will still need to take the APM to the Main terminal in order to get an Uber (which would be on Level 2). Do I have that right? Assuming I'll be doing the same steps, just in reverse order upon returning later the same day to fly back to Lauderdale.

    • @TheOrlandoGuy
      @TheOrlandoGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You got it! Just take the APM to the main terminal, then take the escalator down one flight and exit the terminal to catch your Uber ride. Just let your driver know you'll meet on the A-side terminal pickup.

      @@TheOrlandoGuy Thanks so much for the instant reply! Given we'll only be in Orlando a few hours, it helps tremendously to be prepared so as not to use up time getting lost having never been to MCO. Much appreciated, sir! As a side note... as video creation is a hobby of mine, I must compliment you on your pro level camera work, editing and narration. Take care and be safe!

    I’m planing a trip to Orlando, I’ve watched pretty much every video on Orlando international airport. But I have a question that no video has yet been able to answer. I know there’s 2 baggage claim areas. If I have a checked bag, how do I know which one to go to?

    • @TheOrlandoGuy
      @TheOrlandoGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Andrew. You go to the baggage claim that is the same as your airside terminal. For instance, If you arrive via Delta in Airside Terminal B, your baggage claim will be on the B side in the main terminal. If you arrive via Southwest in Airside Terminal A, your luggage will be on the A side in the main terminal.

    Where do you go for an Uber ride pick up?

    • @TheOrlandoGuy
      @TheOrlandoGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Exit on level 2 of the main terminal for ride sharing services like Uber and Lyft.

    I'm flying out of Orlando this summer. I've heard horror stories about the lines and traffic from my home in suburban Tampa. I'm kind of worried about it now. :(

    • @TheOrlandoGuy
      @TheOrlandoGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would definitely leave Tampa a bit early to deal with the traffic slow down around the Reunion exit. As for lines at MCO, you can now reserve your spot in line through security with a new pilot program with CLEAR. It's a great benefit - and FREE! More details -> reserve.clearme.com/

    hello so when i arrive ill be going to side b and if i have a friend picking me up do i go to level 2 or 1?

    • @TheOrlandoGuy
      @TheOrlandoGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are arriving in Orlando and have someone picking you up at the airport, proceed to level 2 of the main terminal and exit the doors which are located opposite the luggage carousels. Level one is for taxis, resort transportation, resort vans, etc... Level 2 is for private car pickup, Uber, Lyft, etc...

    Hi I'm hopefully coming this November for the first time, I hear horror stories about waiting long times at immigration. Are there toilets there in case I'm desperate and need to come out of the queue? This is the first time I've found a video with a couple of photos of that show this stage and I'm guessing it's because photos aren't really allowed there...

      Hi! Getting through customs is super easy! Yes there are facilities at the international gates and baggage areas. This page gives you a short tutorial on the process and some tips to move through faster! www.flightsflorida.com/mco_arrivals.aspx

    For arriving international passengers to Orlando airport, how they can transfer their baggage to the main terminal instead of picking up right after the immigration clearance?
    Reference: see video at 01:40 min

    • @TheOrlandoGuy
      @TheOrlandoGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! After clearing customs and immigration, you'll proceed to to the baggage carousel located past the US Customs & Immigration checkpoints to claim your baggage. You can choose to carry your baggage with you to the APM for the trip to the main terminal, or have airport staff transfer them to the main terminal on your behalf. You will then proceed to the APM to make the trip to the main side terminal and then proceed down to the international baggage claim at the main terminal (either A or B side, depending on your arrival air side terminal).
