- Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the largest airport in Central Florida, and the busiest in the state. It is also the 10th busiest airport in the United States. The airport code MCO stands for the airport's former name of McCoy Air Force Base. Southwest Airlines is the largest airport carrier by passengers carried. In this video, I explore the Terminal C parking garage, ride the people mover to Terminal A & B pre-security area, and discover the Hyatt Hotel and large retail space the airport has to offer.

I have photos from the 80s and 90s of this airport and boy it was a completely different . It was very dark back then and had maybe half of what it has now. No Uber just bad taxi service and horrible traffic that just backs up for a long time. Now it’s bright and modern with a lot more flights and also art really helps this place.
Wow I can imagine and I can tell how it was before, but now it certainly changed, although I've not visited this part, but only came by in the city or mainland of Florida, where my relatives live in orange county.

I'm *in* Terminal C.... well, working there. I'm part of the crew that is putting the final touches on the new terminal before its opening on the 20th of September. Everyone is going to love what they are going to "C"!!!
I love the Florida airport!! ✈ Can you imagine the rooms in the hotel right in the airport? Very convenient.

I love that it even has a little movie theater. My son and I visited Disney for his birthday and while we waited for our flight to come back home we watched Encanto. I loved this airport so much, it kind of has a old Havana touch to it too. ❤️

Hi, thank you so much! I remember Orlando International Airport. I remember when I was a kid. It’s been over three decades now. I remember terminal B. I am so surprised! They renovated. I did see baggage claim. They adding more baggage claim and ticket counter as well as food court and retail shop. I remember where old Delta ticket counter used to be and also I remember Piedmont Airlines. They moved to USAir ticket counter. I am very good memory. That was so long time ago!! I want you to say thank you for showing me around. I really appreciate that. I haven’t been In Orlando for two decades now.

The People Mover ride was pretty cool with great views. 11:10 This section does resemble a theme park, and I really like the water fountain and palm trees! ⛲🌴😍 13:05 Looks like a mall here with all the retail shops and food court area. 14:03 I thought that was a real person taking a nap until you mentioned it's a sculpture. 😂 It's nice and convenient to have the Hyatt Hotel connected to the airport. I worked at MCO for 4 years. Great place to work. Air sides are after the people mover. Meaning, u go through TSA, get on the people mover and it takes you to your air side. The main area where the shops and restaurants are ,just main terminal. Hope that helps
I wonder how pissed GOAA would be if I grabbed video of the new Terminal C airside for TH-cam before it opens? Don't think I'm going to though...
I would like to mention that the TSA lines at MCO (Orlando International) takes a lot longer than a few other airports I’ve been to. I am from Orlando and the rule is get there much earlier than any other airport. A good 3-4 hours. Almost missed my flight due to both the TSA line and the horrible traffic jam just to get into the airport.

The lobby is soo pretty.
I'm sure there are some exciting airports that are wonderfully built on other continents. But this walking through this is first one looks unlike I've seen, especially with fountain centred in the area. 💯💫

While you are in the Orlando area, I wonder if you have been to the Gaylord Palms Hotel in Kissimmee? It's awesome, wonderful vlog material. The Gaylord Palms is a perfect example of what the human brain is capable of creating. The hotel has a website for you to explore. Self-parking fee for non-hotel guests is well worth the investment. I know you will love it if you haven't been yet. Also, the lake and hotels (on Disney property) located out the back gate of Epcot. Have fun! I love your videos!

Except their TSA lines. Feels the same as always. Lived in Orlando for 25+ years and TSA lines are slower than where I now live, Atlanta. I still travel back and forth to visit family and trust me, I get through the line fast at ATL than MCO.
Since i was a kid in the 80s and 90s..... this airport has always been my favorite ....better than Disney.....the airport had parrots and birds at one point when i was a kid ... i think

Was there last February to visit my sister in The Villages which is 60 Mi north of that airport also I recommend doing walks through the town squares in The Villages especially at Lake Sumter Landing but it took me an hour to go through that TSA check
Did we forget about the TSA agent that took his own life by jumping from the 10th floor at this hotel? Lots of sadness and spirits walking around here. Let’s not forget that every thing that glitters is not gold. RIP ROBERT HENRY.

I been to Orlando and Disneyland twice in my life. I don’t remember a thing about Orlando International Airport lol.

I will be flying into the Tampa airport for my first time next year: late Summer 2024. I remember going there ima go there again this June we don’t go to the parking garage my grandma takes me and my family to the airport and have a nice flight and we return to get picked up by our grandma and done

About the Gaylord Palms, they have an ice sculpture show during December. I saw it a few years ago. The ice sculptures were made by artists from China. The hotel has some affordable rates, so have fun!

Global entry helps you skip the line. It comes with a automatic tsa pre check. You need to do everything like a passport and do an interview which is one dumb random question that makes zero sense. But you get it and voila no lines.
Except coming from an international flight we had to go back through TSA after coming through customs. The TSA we went through was not pre heck qualified. It was a long line and process in a tiny room off to the side. Whew.
If at all possible, having TSA Pre Check is an absolute must at this airport. Lines are so very long, so having it is a very nice perk.
