- Hello friends! Im so excited to share with you how I make my Gnomes! Most supplies are form the Dollar Tree. The socks, rice, and hair bands. You can give them so much adorable character with embellishments! Please give this video a LIKE and let me know if you tried making these! Really cute!! Sweet and simple. I would need an alternative to rice. It’s damp where I live and the rice would mold. Be careful of how you store them. Some folks have found that bugs can be attracted to the rice too. Sometimes dollar tree carries bags of little white stones..I might try those or plastic pellets. Anyway, just a thought. These are so cute!!
Use rocks or beads you can get them at dollar tree 🌳
I live in Puerto Rico, where it’s humid all year round. I add 2 or 3 dry laurel leaves. It also repels bugs!
I've weighted the bottom with sand in a plastic bag. Then used polyfill for the rest.

What an adorable craft! I am going to have to save this. You know, you could also make gnomes for spring and summer. I know a lot of people have garden gnomes for home decor as well!

What did you use for the beard?
That’s a lot of rice. It must be a heavy gnome. I prefer putting half of it with polyfil because I don’t do well lifting heavy items. (I have problems with my neck & arms).
That being said, this is an adorable gnome, and I loved the background music!
